I liked this latest chapter a lot. It seems like a calm before the storm kind of chapter. It was nice to see Kankuro give recognition to Naruto. I know Temari wants to help, but she's been in retirement and therefore, not developing her skills. If Kankuro got his a** kicked, she probablly would too. I'm looking forward to see how Lee and Neji have advanced. I don't think TenTen will be of much help though, unless she's grown an insane amount since the Chuunin exams. xp

i really doubt that temari was in retirement. i think when they talked about "the sister in retirement", they were talking about that old lady. temari stayed because she's one of the top 3 sand shinobis there and basically the only one of those three who can still walk at the moment. i'm sure lee and neji will kick a**, and i'm sure tenten will have her place somewhere.

Hey everyone i have a wild theory!

I saw the outline of that mysterious Akatsuki Member...the one that summon the statue thing.
I now believe that mysterious person to be none other than the forth Hokage himself. I know that's a crazy ideal and all but i can't think of anyone else that has spiky hair in just that way and strange eyes. The eye shape even looks similar to Naruto's.
I think that the forth Hokage never died but something happened to him after he sealed the nine tails. I mean I never saw his grave and anything.

by the way, where r all the hokage graves. Are they all burned to dust?

wow... that is quite a theory. i seriously doubt it though because the outline of the spiky hair is different than the fourth's. if anything, they kinda look like shino's. wouldn't that be crazy if shino had this hidden power all this time? and he wore sunglasses too. haha.. ok seriously though, if you remember the fight between sarutobi and orochimaru on the rooftop, orochimaru nearly summoned ALL THREE dead hokages, but sarutobi was able to stop him from summoning the third coffin which more than likely contained the fourth's body. i do believe that the fourth was stronger than sarutobi-sama and would have made things much more difficult had the summon not stopped. wild theory though... i can't wait to see everyone else's abilities. and the eyes really do look like they belong to someone who is of an advanced bloodline... i guess we all gotta stay tuned. 3nodding

i've up to episode 126 in the anime but only through the kindness of my friends. i have a mac and my compy won't play avi files. if anyone knows a way around this please tell me!!! also i can't get the manga to download correctly and i am absolutely dying to know what is going on in there!!!! help me pease!

I thought that quicktime could play .avi? That's all my bro watches on his mac is .avi and .mov of course

maybe you just need to configure quicktime to play the avi files, also you need to make sure you have the latest version of quicktime. And if that doesn't work, try downloading realplayer if you can use it on a mac.

*Spoiler Alert*

I just "read" the raw of 254 and I cannot wait for the scanlation to come out. It seems that Naruto and the team are off togo after Akatsuki eek . It also seems that they are being joined by the old lady and temari. I hope they aren't going just to get there asses kicked (unfortunately I think that's what's going to happen seeing how Kankuro got whipped into submission sad , I just hope that doesn't happen crying ). But what I really am wondering is why Temari is coming since both Kankuro and Gaara had their asses handed to em, why would she even think about joining Naruto and the others (cause just rushing into a fight to get killed really isn't all that smart or helpful). Well Anyway I can't wait to see how this works out. I predict that Kakashi, Naruto, Old lady, Sakura, and Temari get one maybe even two oif the akatsuki members but then they'll falter only to have Fuzzy Eyebrows, Gai, Neji, and TenTen come to help aid them in their escape from Akatsuki. And I just hope no one is offed (I really don't care if the Old Lady buys it, but I don't want the other to buy it.) well that's it.

I don't think Temari is going cause i read somewhere on scanlation that someone told her she was needed as more in the sand village. That was when the old lady said she was going to go with them.

Temari really wanted to go though she started to complain but the old lady cut her off. 3nodding

I personally can't wait till the next chapter.. argh! still a week away! gonk

Temari didn't go. Like mentioned before, the old lady told her to stay behind... but not because she's weak, but because she was needed to protect the village while they were gone.

Try redownloading quicktime, that may help. And if all else fails, then stick with the friends

I was thinking they looked like Sharingans too. Thanks for the enlarged picture, now I'm certain smile . I don't recall Itachi saying that, but you may be right. After all, he'd know if there was another Uchiha alive if he's in the same organization with him. I'm really curious now. . . I want to see if this new guy is even stronger than Itachi. If that's true, then we have some serious fight scenes coming up biggrin

I think those are just rings around his eyes. A couple chapters back, when you first see all of Akatsuki in the shadows, you see that guy and he's clearly got rings around his eyes. When I get home, I'll find it and link the picture. I think it's just another bloodline ability.

Anyways, I'm glad to see that Akatsuki is finally going to play a major role. The best ninjas on Naruto's Earth can't have anything but the most bad a** looking Jutsus.

*Spoilers for those who have only been going by the Anime*

what everyone in refering to about the "other Uchiha" would be chapter 142 when Itachi takes on and unprepared Kakashi. Now, wheter ther is another Uchiha mention or not depends on the scanlation you read. If you have/read Inane's version then Itachi says something along the lines of "Only the remaining three can resist the Tsukiyomi." (that's not exactly what it is translated to but thats what inane's translation basically says. The other scanlations (i say other cause i found two alternate scanlations of naruto chap 142 but the translator didn't leave a siggy sad ) however translated it into "Only a sharingan user with the same blood as me can defeat me" or "Only another sharingan user with the same blood flowing in me could possibly defeat me!" Heres a link to the scanlation:Chap 142 Whcich begs the question how the hell did inane come up with that translation. I unfortunately will not go and believe that there is another sharingan user just becasue inane translated it that way. I have to have at least another scanlation translating it into the same thing. I does seem quite odd though, those eyes I mean, they are quite sharingan like. But this theory of another sharingan user is kinda put to crap in chapters 142, 145 and 146 when Hoshigaki Kisame says some very interesting comments including in 145 where he says "Yare Yare... Indeed, today is a special day. Don' you think? This is a second time I've seen another sharingan." But lets not forget chapter 146 where he says "..... I heard the entire Uchiha clan was wiped out........." and geos on to say on the next page "By you...." refering to Itachi. But that's not mentioning thee statement that Hoshigaki Kisame made in Chapter 142 in the begining he said "I never thought I'd see someone other than Itachi with thoes eyes..." "That said... you must be the copy ninja Kakashi..." Those statements alone give me enough proof that Itachi and Sasuke are the only Uchiha survivors and the only ones who can use the Sharingan bloodline. If I'm wrong I apologise sweatdrop . Well not back to other things.

thanks to LPW for that enlarged pic of the akatsuki dude. i can't help but wonder if he IS an uchiha, although koreachess made a valid point that itachi did wipe out the entire clan. i still have to wonder if anyone survived... someone who wasn't home, maybe. a missing-nin who left? these uchihas tend to be a little @#$í up in the head, who knows? but i still have to say that this akatsuki member's eyes look eerily similar to the sharingan. i heard that the sharingan is related to the byakuugan (sp?) and so this fool's eyes might be related to the sharingan? i'm just trying to open all possibilities here.

yes, i have seen 255 raw and it does look like they were sucking the demon out of gaara. i knew he was going to be some sort of sacrifice... i wonder how good a ninja he really is when the shukaku leaves his body. seems like gai's team will get some action before kakashi's does, and we get a glimpse of the other akatsuki members.

can't wait till it gets scanlated! whee
