albino_pixie I play Tenor saxophone. I started on alto sax in middle school, then moved to tenor sax in 8th grade for jazz band, and now I'm the tenor sax section leader. I love the instrument! Its the best sound ever! I also took some unsuccessful trombone lessons for about a month...but I gave up. I love how I get to play low brass parts for marching band, and how I basically get to play any random parts! I've seriously had a part with every single section in the band....its sweet though. Low woodwinds rock! i found a tenor sax in my dads basemnt... i can only get out like 3 notes though.

Yea i play Tuba, but i am the only one in the ENTIRE SCHOOL so it kinda is hard to have to do EVERYTHING tuba related by myself. Fortunaltly my close bud plays bari. sax so it is cool.

Trombone, My section leader plays, like all of em. He's also got some wierd mouthpiece that apparently plays louder than all 8 of us trombones combined. eek

NO!!!!!!!!! ok sry... im a bit hyper... x D Suicides are where the trombone line line up together and while every other person ducks down, the other people who are still up turn and their trombone slide would be above those are ducking. Then they switch turns at a steady beat. We usually do it at football games in the stands while drumline plays for us. If I canget a video of it someday, I'll upload it. : D

I'm in trombone section and I can play the trumpet because I was in trumpet section before being transfered to trombone section.

Ummm.. I'm euphonium/tuba section leader.
I play euph as primary... can do baritone... marching versions too... did trombone (tenor) for jazz band, bass trombone for fun and valve trombone for kicks and obviously can do tuba and sousaphone lol.
I'm trying to spread my horizons, but I dunno where else to go lowbraswise. Haha.

I think every trombone section everywhere does suicides. Haha.
Our trombone players live and breathe it. They watch for our drum line section leader to signal a cadence. Haha. They make fish (freshmen) sit at the end because they tend to mess it up. Haha
