Violet Song jat Shariff RubyLight too2sweet What's really sad is the captain doesn't even post, makes you wonder why someone would go to all the trouble to make a guild and then not pay any attention to it. I'd post more, but I don't know enough. Guilds are funny though...a lot of people join just to lurk and gather info, and they rarely post - even in topics where they can't go wrong. It's very frustrating when you are trying to stir up activity. Yeah, I don't know that much either, but I'm reading up on it in my spare time. I really like the mythology and the guild has so much potential. I'm going to see if she will let me buy the guild off her. (When I save up some more gold.) What's a reasonable offer? Eh, guilds are I think 20k to create one...so I would say/think that 15k is a reasonable offer? It might depend on how badly she wants to get rid of it.
Ruby...Let me know if you need some extra gold towards making an offer for it. biggrin

15k is a good amount if it has no subforums. I believe it usually goes 0.5k per subforum. That's how it was when I was buying and selling my guild through the guild forum.
Which is why I had so much issues selling my guild with seven sub-forums. gonk

Update: So, I got the reply and she said she still wants to keep it, however she offered me the position of Vice Captain. I accepted, so hopefully I'll get promoted in a couple of days. She is basically letting me run the place while she still owns it. I'm thrilled to be VC and all but I'm also a little confused. sweatdrop

The day I go to sleep having not heard at least one patently stupid ******** illogical statement from some ******** moron is the day I make a resolution to hug everyone I meet on the street.
I mean, honestly, how ******** hard is it for people to be logical and intellectually honest? This is exactly why we need mandatory logic classes in schools, maybe then people would stop being so ******** stupid as to let logical fallacies and flawed arguments influence their minds to the point where they become little more than a sounding board for some intellectual ******** who knows how to manipulate people.
