Alexz entered the restaurant with Kensington at her side, slightly marveling at the finesse of the restaurant. She glanced at the painting of what appeared to be Rogue at a different time period and smiled a little, it was funny how no one noticed how her paintings hinted to her age.

Kensington was impressed at the decor, it reminded him somewhat of the club on Pall Mall that he was a member of.
Kensington motioned to the concierge who ushered them to a table near the window.
Kensington waited for Alexz to be seated before sitting down himself.
'So who was that in the park? I don't think he liked me.' He asked.
So what kind of fun can a vampire get up to in this city?

Alexz placed the napkin on her lap and sat upright. She thought about Prometheus and what she had gathered from his mind earlier.
"His name is Prometeus, he's a lycan. Pretty curious, but not particularly aggressive, except for when he is with someone else. He's very protective of Julian, they're both starting to like each other and both have past loves who they never really got over until now." she explained, slightly rambling on.
"Las Noches. But you've already been there...I suppose hypnotizing the humans is quite entertaining, but to do so now might mean being caught."

'I shall have to keep my eyes open for him in future' Kensington replied.
The waiter handed him a menu and the wine list before retreating to a respectable distance.
Kensington quickly scanned the wine list, there were some good wines presented here. His eye fell upon one wine in particular: 1986 Mouton Rothschild, considered by many to be one of the finest red wines in the world, and the '86 vintage being much sought after by collectors. He ordered a bottle, and why not? Sure it was over $1200, but Kensington knew the value of good wine. And anyway, he was having fun. How the hell did they manage to procure so many bottles?
((I like my wine, can you tell? whee ))
'I knew the great grandfather of the current Barroness de Rothschild, a good fellow, if a little eccentric' Kensington said, smiling at fond memories.
'Yes, Las Noches is fun, if a little hectic at times. Perhaps we could go there after dinner, unless you can think of something better to do?' he smiled as their eyes met, he found himself getting drawn in to those strikingly silver eyes.

"As long as you don't shoot at Julian, he shouldn't be an issue." Alexz said with a nod.
She scanned over the wine menu as he did by looking into his mind to see what his decision would be. Her eyebrows raised slightly as he chose to buy the 1986 Mouton Rothschild, impressed at the expensive price tag, but it only reminded her of his status.
"The owner has a collection of antique paintings and aged wines. Acquiring them wasn't so difficult for her, she's rather wealthy and has been here for quite the number of years, if you catch my drift."
((Hahaha, well wine is tasty, even though I'm underaged x3))
"And how is the current Barroness de Rothschild? Eccentricity has a tendency to run in the family."
"You shouldn't look into my eyes for so long, you'll turn to stone." she joked with a smirked, "And I can think of lots of things we can do," she wiggled her eyebrows suggestively and laughed, "I suppose it depends what you would like to do."

'She's certainly got a good eye for business, I've never met her face to face but I watch from the shadows. Her Great Grandfather was a good friend and I promised him I would keep his family safe. The Barroness is certainly his decendant, she shares his temper when she doesn't get her way.' Kensington said as the wine arrived.
He took a sip of the wine, enjoying the rich flavour. A smile crossed his face as he heard what Alexz said in his mind.
'Stone you say? Well what would you suggest I look at instead?' He was enjoying this, the thrill of it all. 'Yes, when passion is involved the possibilities are endless, I find that fortune favours the bold'
Kensington looked through the menu, finally he decided he would have the venison, it would go well with the wine.

"Do you have a temper?" Alexz asked curiously.
She took a sip of the wine and smiled at its rich flavor, it was worth every cent. She certainly was impressed by his taste in wine.
"Well, I suppose if you wouldn't mind becoming a statue and wouldn't mind being displayed in my room, look into my eyes all you like." she smiled at him, her eyes flashing.
She leaned over the table and brushed her nose against his, "Yes, the possibilities are indeed endless.
She gazed into his eyes, the silver in her eyes swirling hypnotically, using her powers to keep him in a stunned state. She then kissed his cheek quickly and slipped back into her seat, pulling him out of his hypnotic state, a grin on her face.
Feeling his contentment made her feel even happier. She hadn't enjoying herself this much in years. It was nice to get out.

'Only when I am denied something I really want. Otherwise I try and keep a cool head.' He said smiling.
Kensington felt his heart beat faster as Alexz leaned over and gently rubbed her nose against his, then a strange feeling came over him, like being wrapped in cotton wool, everything went hazy, and then snapped back into focus as Alexz sat back down.
'Oh now who's the one being unfair!' his eyes flashed suggestively.
Kensington could sense Alexz's enjoyment and it made him smile, the night was still young.
'Two can play at this game!'
Kensington's eyes suddenly flared a brilliant green and everything around them went dark, time slowed. Stopped. They we're alone in the darkness. Kensington got out of his chair, he took hold of Alexz's hand, she slowly stood up. He drew her close to him, feeling her body press gently against his. He gazed into her eyes, there was such strength and passion there, something he should be careful of, but he never knew when to quit.
'If I turn to stone then so be it, it would be worth it.' He said and gently kissed her.
He slowly drew back, his eyes sparkling with a combination af excitement and fear, he waited til she was sat down before he allowed time to regain it's hold. He realised he was breathing rapidly, he was right about Alexz's power.
'Just a taste of the possibilities yet to come.' The grin evident on his face.

Rogue had been upstairs speaking with one of her trusted in the restaurant seeing if the FBI suspected Bribonona. This place had remained off the radar. She scanned the security cameras and noted Alexz. The next thing she saw shocked her...She just might need to interrupt.
She made her way down into the back of the restaurant and nodded to one of the waiters and pointed at the table. A grin slid across her face as she lifted an eyebrow and took a seat at the bar. She laughed as she spoke into Alexz's mind. What have we here Alexz...

Alexz smiled against his lips as he kissed her and placed her hand softly on the side of his face. She returned the kiss gently, not wanting to destroy herself with feeling too strongly, but not strong enough to resist. She touched her fingers to her lips as she sat back down, a wide smile on her face.
"Well now that I've had a taste, I can't help but want more." she grinned.
She rearranged her napkin on her lap and took a sip of her wine to prevent the smile from being imprinted on her face. Sensing Rogue take a seat at the bar, she glanced over at her, her eyes still twinkling with happiness.
"Oh nothing...just an innocent dinner...you know the deal." she spoke into Rogue's mind with a laugh.

'All in good time.' he replied to Alexz.
He absent-mindedly touched his face where her hand had been, smiling as he did so.
He noticed a familiar figure at the back of the restaurant, he realised it was Rogue almost immediately. He raised his glass to her.
'Hello again my mylady, I didn't expect to see you again so soon. I hope those problems you mentioned earlier have lost some of their intensity, of course you have but to ask and I shall help in any way I can.' He said quietly, knowing she would hear every word clearly.

"Bartender..." He looked at her briefly and nodded and in a moment, he set a drink in front of her. She nodded politely in thanks. She saw a newcomer enter, and paid no mind, until she spoke. Her eyes fell upon her, and her eyebrow slightly raised in question.

Alexz drank the last sips of wine left in her glass, licking her lips as she set the glass down so she didn't miss a drop. The wine left a sweet taste in her mouth and she grinned enjoying her dinner with Kensington.
"This really is a marvelous place, I'm glad we came." she said with a smile.
Though she had known of the place for quite a while, she never felt the need to set foot in the place. After all, who would she have dinner with? Herself?

'I agree, it is quite splendid. Far more appealing than other restaurants' He said admiring the decor.
'...and much more enjoyable with you.
Kensington smiled, seeing Alexz enjoy herself. She may have a look of innocence, but Kensington knew that wasn't true. There was a hidden passion behind those eyes and an aire of mystery that he found intoxicating. It was like a drug, and he wanted more.
He looked shocked for a momment when he realised his own passions were welling up inside him, his heart began beating faster and faster. He had to concentrate to quell the energy building up.
He looked up and saw Alexz looking at him with a smile on her face.
'I suppose you saw all that? He said with an embarrased smile. He realised that for a second his mental barriers had vanished. His mind had been an open book for a fleeting moment, and yet Kensington felt that the barriers had dropped for Alexz alone.
'See anything you like?' The twinkle was back in his eye, the smile a more confident and suggestive one.
He reached out and gently ran his had down Alexz's arm.
This night was turning out to be far more enjoyable than Kensington had expected.
