I do not have much experience with ballet and operas. Besides the field trip in middle school for opera. I have also gone to see the Radio City Rockettes which I know they do ballet routines mixed with other styles of dance. But besides that I do not have any further experience.

I watched the Of Mice and Men film adaptation in middle school. I enjoyed it because it felt so realistic. The film really made it seem like older times and captured the Great Depression feeling very well. I remember there was many close-ups and you could feel see the expressions on the characters feelings. For example when Lennie was confused, you could sense his confusion and it helped you understand George’s feelings towards him.

Yes, I attended a Broadway musical performance of The Lion King. The combination of music, costumes, and storytelling made it an unforgettable experience. The last play I read was A Raisin in the Sun. Yes, I’ve seen Hamilton. It was a hip-hop musical, and I loved its innovative approach to history and music. I’ve watched The Nutcracker ballet and La Traviata opera. Yes, I watched the film adaptation of A Raisin in the Sun.

When I watch a film that has a play adaptation, I nearly always enjoy the film more. I believe that plays often times feel unserious due the characters all being very dramatic. I enjoy watching characters in a realistic setting, though I do believe that plays will always have better music than a film version of a musical as actors is plays have very well-trained voices.

That must be beautiful to have the experience of enjoying a play. I have never seen a play myself, but I would also believe that plays have better music than a film. The characters' emotions are often express through their physical presence, tone of voice, and the direct interaction with the audience.

I have not seen a professionally performed musical drama, but I have seen ones performed during my time attending High School. It was a rock musical, and I greatly enjoy musicals. The one I remember the most was one based on Elvis, ironically called Jailhouse Rock.

I do not have much experience watching opera or ballet. The closest performance to ballet that I saw was when I was eight, seeing the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. I have never been very fond of operas, to begin with, because I find them difficult to follow along, especially if you do not know the story before going in.

1. I have never attended an actual professional performance, only ever productions made by schools. One of my favorite plays that I saw a middle school perform was Macbeth. I wasn’t very familiar with the original story but the student cast portrayed it really well.

2. The only play I’ve ever read was Harry potter and the Cursed Child. I don’t really enjoy reading plays as I find them a little confusing but this play was very interesting. As someone who read the Harry Potter series at a young age I really enjoyed it.

3. I’m not sure if this counts for the question because it is a movie but a musical drama I really love is the movie La La Land. I’m not the biggest fan of musicals but this movie was amazing and the musical aspect of it added so much depth.

4. Just my opinion, I’ve always found operas to be silly, but I understand why some people love them. As for ballet, it has always been something I love watching. My mom always loved them so we would watch ballet performances online and they are always so beautiful.

5. A musical play film I watched was Hamilton the musical on Disney +. I’ve never seen it i person but I honestly think if I did I would still prefer the film. It just helps seeing it clearly and would make it easier to follow along.

The last play I read was "Charlotte’s Web." I enjoyed it because it has a heartfelt story and strong themes of friendship and loyalty. Although it is often considered a children's story, it contains meaningful lessons that resonate with people of all ages.

I’ve seen a few musical dramas in the past, mostly during high school, with "Hamilton" being the most recent. It combines history with contemporary music styles, such as hip-hop, which I found to be very captivating. Musicals are wonderful because they bring stories to life through songs and movement, making them memorable and enjoyable to watch.
