Hehe. Neat. This used to be Ella's, but I switched it over to Yukio. It's my only outfit. That sweater doesn't count as an outfit. : P

Both of my avies are pretty poor. xd

you should go apply for some shoes at my charity... our waiting list is full.. but, the one girl will be getting a trade hopefully before the end of the day, and i can put you on it when she gets moved off..

Thanks. I'll try to apply when I finish my chapter, but in the mean time, I need to ask you something.

How long does it take for morning sickness to appear in a pregnant woman? So far she is unknowingly two days pregnant.

i guess it can start right away while some may take up to 8 weeks to manifest itself... then again, there are some who don't experience that phenomenon itself at all... I have heard from many pregnant women who just had the dandiest preg with no sickness, no cramps.. they were pretty much every day as usual... nice easy birth... makes me sick.. stare xp

Aww...did you get sick a lot? (Thanks, btw. So it wouldn't seem weird if I started her vomiting on the third day? It's fitting, as her son is hospitalized and it would be easy for a concerned nurse to test her.)

Ergh! It was the same way with me when I had the flu. I had walked into the kitchen to get a glass of water and my dad had this spinach and cheese souffle sitting on the stove top and one good whiff of that and I ran right into the bathroom! xp

I think the amount of cells that the fertilized egg form doubles in the first couple days, from 1 to 2 to 4 to 8 on the 4th day. I hardly think that would be enough for morning sickness. I would have to imagine it would take a few weeks in, where the fetus is partially developed and is connected to the mother via umbellical cord, or something similar. I'm no expert on the matter, mind you, but that's what I would assume. Not sure when that part of the development would actually occur.

I never got morning sickness at all. Seriously. My mom though was sick almost from the start for five months solid.

I think my mom was sick a lot too. But I don't talk to her about pregnancy much. She goes all weird on me about Billy. (Who I know she secretly doesn't like.) I think she thinks we're having sex, or something.

I wouldn't think 2 days would be enough to warrant morning sickness. I would say probably a couple weeks. I know I did around then, I thought I had the flu or something.

I might not be on much tomorrow. My husband goes in at 6 AM for his surgery. I wasn't really worried till the anesthisologist called and told him they're putting him under general. That's some seriously scary a** stuff.

Our A/C went out last night, so I'm tired since it was like 80 something degrees in the house. Thankfully, the repair man fixed it pretty quick this morning!

One more question (I hope I'm not bothering you all): If someone were to get a pregnancy exam at a hospital, how would it go? And I mean to determine if you are pregnant in the first place.

Frank had me post my list of suggestions in GD and they're flaming me and accusing me that I plagerized it. He doesn't understand how this hurts. He says not to take them seriously, but I worked so hard on that list. I just want to pretend I never made that thread. crying crying crying crying

Aww! *huggle* It's alright. I feel that way a lot when I make threads. Except in here. You guys are nice. But I made this thread recently in the ED, and most people are nice but then some were just plain horrible.

And stupid people will almost always accuse good works of being plagerized. Don't let it get to you, Glitter!

sweatdrop *hugs*... just forget it, hun, let the thread die... i don't mean to harp or anything.. but you can hardly expect people in GD to take kindly to well... anything really...

I know. I didn't want to do it, but Frank convinced me to. I'm not really sure why. He doesn't think I should take them so seriously, but it still hurts.
