The meadows seemed almost peaceful now that she wasn't being assaulted by lightening bolts, or chased by fairies. Alice retied her ribbon in order to get her wet hair out of her face. She didn't need more things to distract her when she walked.

Well, as sad as it was for the oran berry to be the one lost to the bog, two berries were far better than none. One of them had even been a wiki berry which, while not quite as useful as the oran would have been and a bit more dangerous since the teen doubted either of his living pokemon would like just how dry it was, would give one of them a bit more strength."Good work,"Alexander told the two water types as they handed him their acquisitions and the trio of lotad waded off to a different part of the bog. With that little encounter dealt with, the boy continued onward for the time being with Tsuna swimming nearby and Odette keeping an eye out overhead.
[Wiki Berry x 1 acquired! Salac Berry x 1 acquired!]
{{OoC: Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick! ^ u ^ Shame about that Oran Berry, though. XD Also, I feel like this aught to be my theme in the guild given the rocky start I had, heh. So, when using that Wiki berry, would I round up or down to determine number of HP healed?}}
Traveling further afield, Alice would find a rather strange sight to behold. A section of the meadow where grass had been torn, scorched, and cut. Where various types of footprints lead to and from what could only be described as booby traps.
Abruptly the earth would begin shaking, and the next moment a Tauros would leap free from the grass, giving a dressed moo as it bolted straight passed the girl and her Honedge. A second later a smaller figure would emerge, belting an angry "MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"
It was a Mareep, a black and yellow bandanna keeping wool and rain out of his eyes. The Pokemon's fiery gaze gave little doubt to who had chased off the Tauros, and as those eyes fell on Alice it didn't take a super computer to figure out what came next. Static dancing along his wool, the Mareep bleated angrily. A clear challenge. It would seem they were in for a fight!

The Magby stared in bafflement at the human. What the hell had he gotten into? He shook his head, sighing in annoyance... well, not like he could back down now. He cracked his knuckles, looking over the Sudowoodo the boy had released. Thing looked dead on it's feet-- he almost felt bad for it... almost. He took a deep breathe, and belched a cloud of purple mist right at the Sudowoodo-- a Smog attack!
How were they supposed to get across this safe and sound? Alice stared at the battle-ready field in front of her, confused and worried. Was... was it safe to go around? Could she go around? Was she centering some kind of warzone? The explosion startled her into jumping, and she could only stare as the Tauros fled. That... that wasn't a good sign. Nor was the small, angry Mareep. She took a nervous step back... but hell. She needed to do some fighting in this ring, didn't she? How else would Vorpal get stronger? She gently untangled her Honedge from her arm, and remarked, "Let's go."
Vorpal laughed, a sound like metal over cloth. Still annoyed that he hadn't been able to give the Shroomish a piece of his mind, the Honedge was practically chomping at the bit for a battle. Even with this nutty-looking sheep. He stabbed himself into the ground, looking ahead. >You ready?< he taunted.

Argyle could not escape them. He'd find himself faced with two Roggenrola this time-- the one he'd tried to leave behind. They chattered to themselves before turning to face him, two looks of murder in their eyes. Then started the glowing, and the shaking... these two Pokemon were going to use Explosion, and if Argyle was smart, he'd try to get clear!
The Sudowoodo before the Magby was sick herself ...horribly sick with poison. She waver on her feet, and her branches hung low. She had been poison and it hurt to even breathe and her eyes ...they burn ...horribly. Yet, Hiro didn't care ...this pokemon hadn't chose to join him.
She had been taken, and thus, in his mind ....right now ...she was as expandable as a grass.
He thought nothing of her pain as he saw the incoming attack and shouted out loudly ...counter-attack with Rock Throw.
Despair was weak and tired, but she did it anyway. She just wanted to go back into the pokeball where everything felt better, so she reached into the earth and pulled it with all of her might as she pulled up a chunk of ground to literally throw at the Magby and his cloud of smoke. Her plan was clear, she was scattering the Smog to the four winds with the attack as well as hopefully wiping out the pokemon in the same movement.
She wanted this battle over.

(( If you used it to heal up either your Ducklett or Barboach, it will heal 2 HP. ))
A Bidoof would simply stare lazily at the group from where it had been resting on the ground, in a small patch of sunlight. One of the few patches seen so far. It lifted it's head then laid it back down and was soon snoring away. Nothing to worry about with this particular pokemon.
The moment Vorpal gave his taunt, the Mareep's eyes would narrow; but rather than bolting toward him like he had the Tauros, the Mareep would slowly step backwards into the grass...and then vanish completely. Yes it had been the little sheepling that had set the traps they saw on the ground. He hadn't caused the Tauros to flee in terror through strength of body only. Even with so much rage he didn't fight battles...he waged war.
In the next few minutes the grass would begin shifting, but never where it ought to. Then it came, that familiar cry of "MAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" From the side, Rolling out of the grass the Mareep would sweep the end of his tail across the ground, flinging sand and much towards his steely foe. It would seem he was starting this battle off with a Sand-attack!
Argyle would stand stock still for a moment, gazing blankly at the pair of rocks, When he finally moved it would be to pivot on his heel and bolt down the volcano trail, screaming at the top of his young lungs "I HATE THIS IIIIIIIISLAAAAND!"
The Shieldon felt like he was glowing with radiance! Ahhh that had felt great! The more admiring, the greater he felt! It was quite a refreshing feeling! But wait! Where was the Lunatone going? It needed to stay close so he could continue to thrive off it's admiring vibes! With that, he leapt upward to try and get closer to the pokemon trying to get away! It was an ongoing Tackle!

(19 - 7) + (8 - 11) = 9/2 = 4.5 = 5 DMG
This time a large crack would form in the side of the Lunatone's facve, his eye's growing more intense as they flooded with that pink-ish purple glow from before. Invading the Shieldon's mind once more, he attempted to fill it with thoughts of charity work, sacrifices made for the sake of others, along with general good will to man and Pokemon. What else could possibly lead such a creature to Confusion?
(11-3)+(12-7) = 13 x 2 = 26 DMG! Magby is at -12 HP!
Sudowood gained 37 EXP!
The rock landed with a loud thunk breaking the Magby's neck and instantly killing him. He'd bitten off more than he could chew in this fit... but so had the Sudowoodo, for even as she was granted experience by whatever weird forces existed, the poison would run its finally course.
Despair took two damage from poison! Despair is at 0 HP!

Perhaps he shouldn't have been so eager to battle the obviously-insane Mareep. The strange disappearance set him on edge, and what WAS it with that infernal bleating? Someone needed to gag that little-- oh dear. Vorpal attempted to unstick himsefl from the mud to avoid the sand, but it was looking pretty close...
Apparently, fear and hatred were good motivators. All Argyle would be able to hear behind him was a faint boom He was safe from the horrible twins menaces of friendship and affection once again, and all without getting scratched.
