She took the kimono, opening it before helping her put it on properly. "You Kraken are very casual in your morning routines, no? Surely, you're not just waking for the day?"

"The sun brought you here...?" she echoed with the purest of confusion, but quickly stifled a squeak and tried to hold up her hand in protest as the woman invited herself in. "Huh!? That won't be-" but the gesture fell on deaf eyes, and any other protests were silenced under a new wave of blush as she found herself exposed a second time. There was no skin contact so it wasn't improper per se... but of all the people to talk about casual...
Thus it was that she stood there, a beacon of bashful, aroused embarrassment as she let the woman help get her fully dressed. Concentrating on the question was all she could do to avoid further embarrassing herself. "W-well, no, we're normally no more or less diligent than anyone else. It's just the time difference that's hard to adjust to in just a few days. Lord Sun's light has not reached the colonies yet. It may feel like dawn to you but to us it still feels well into the night. Just... give us a few more days and we'll adapt."

Kyouya made no effort to explain her wording as she finished dressing the Kraken princess. "Your face matches my kimono. Simply quaint," she replied with a smile behind her mask. "And I shall give you all the days you require, but I don't know if the Crane should be so generous."
Upon finishing, she nodded. "Now where is Naohiko-san? I suppose I should go help him dress too," she said, turning back towards the door.

Naohiko was busy dressing himself, carefully attempting to keep his attention on his actions while the two women dressed. and was presentable when he heard Kyouya state his name. He then exited his room and let out a light cough.

@ Gendo: As happened yesterday, you would be greeted by canine anarchy. Setsuna, of course, was totally eager to partake in said anarchy too. But before you could duck out like before... "There you are, friend," a man's voice would say from behind Gendo, cutting off his way of retreat. If he were to turn around, he would find a very sharply-dressed, well-composed man with Spider colors, holding a feisty pup of his own in his arms, squirming like mad to get free the closer he got to Gendo. "Daigotsu Danjuro. Word in the court is, you have a unique talent. Some even suggest that you've been blessed by Chikushudo itself. A number of us," he would say, pausing to give a wide, suggestive ear-to-ear toothy smile, before continuing; "Worry not, of many clans, not just the Spider - are in need of your expertise. Won't you help us?"-------------------- @ Naohiko: As Naohiko opened the door to his room to exit, he nearly bumped into the buxon bunny from a couple days ago. She jumped, startled, as his door suddenly opened as she was apparently walking by, a bit more dressed up in normal courtly fare than she was wearing in your clan's first encounter with her. Though upon seeing you, she quickly reddened and glowered, quickly turning her head to one side and very rapidly started walking away ( now her footsteps were audible) without saying a word to you. It was but a moment's exchange, but you do see a bruise along her jaw that hadn't quite faded yet, which was absent in your last exchange with her.

The Kraken samurai would c**k his head as the Hare courtier left. It seems as if she took the worst of a fight and the glowering look the girl gave indicated that it MAY be something to do with either Shi or his clan. Naohiko would take the origami bunny off of his table and then go after the girl. Kaichiyo did say not to bother the Usagi, but Naohiko was sure he could try to communicate with the girl without upsetting her. He would follow the Hare at a respectful distance. If he were not called back by Kaichiyo or Kyouya, Naohiko would call out. " Excuse me, Usagi-san! Might I have a moment of your time?"

The Kraken princess looked dismayed at the revelation that her tormentor was aware of her utter lack of composure. Not that bright red cheeks were all that hard to spot. She quickly spun on a heel and rummaged through her things in search of her fan... only to realize that she hadn't brought one, expecting very cold conditions as she was. She was in the middle of a tiny whimper when the woman's comment snapped her out of it, giving her pause as she turned back and arched a confused brow. "Our hosts have been nothing if not generous. And none of their activities have been mandatory thus far. Would... would they truly take offense to us sleeping in?"
Of course, she didn't have much time to ponder the question before she heard Naohiko call out from outside the door, the mention of 'Usagi' setting her on high alert and sending her straight for the door to peek out and see what was happening.

Gendo would carefully look over the man, mind flying through apologies and excuses as he listened, before just letting it all fall to the wayside. Taking a look back over the garden, he'd curse internally. "What may I assist with, Daigotsu-san?" Today wasn't going to end well.

"Does anyone truly know what the Crane take offense to?" she replied pointedly. "Just remember, we are guests here. And would it do to make them think that we think poorly of their hospitality by not appearing and basking in their presence? Cranes are silly birds; you must try not to ruffle any feathers... willingly or not. Feathers are soft, but beaks can be quite sharp."
Her head canted towards the door at the sounds, and Kyouya followed the princess to it, to see what was happening. "Someone you know?"

"Well, it's quite simple, really," Danjuro would explain with a knowing smirk. "One thing the Kraken has done is bring to everyone's attention how Kioko-hime seems to have a fondness for your companion there. And for that, we are grateful for that shared insight. You could probably curry a few favors if you played your cards right - let me know if you want help with that."
Turning in place, he would nod towards the anarchy in the garden - many a samurai, of many different heritages, were apparently trying to teach a gaggle of pups obedience training. Most of the dogs did not seem to really be paying any of the humans any mind, and were more interested in playing with each other and all the interesting smells! "You see, a number of us seemed to get the same idea at the same time, and are likewise trying to leave a... favorable impression upon Kioko-hime. I, however, noticed how well-behaved your own dog is, especially in contrast with our own very-new companions, and it occurred to me that you might be able to give us all a few pointers. What do you say, friend?"

As Naohiko called out to her, she slowed her pace, sped up for a few steps, then stopped after all. "... no. No you may not! HMPH!" Ichi would cross her arms over her chest, before turning around to face Naohiko, walking aggressively towards him.
"What's with you Kraken?! I've had nothing but difficulty since you arrived. Your princess hit me with a shoe, and your companions try to jump me! Then I catch wind that some of you have been poking around looking for me! And not to mentionthatyourmonkfriendgotmefreakin'beatup! Andheturnedouttobeakami-damnedMahoTsukai!"
Suddenly, a realization would mark her face as you indeed were having a moment of her time after all. "AAAUUURRGGGHHH!" she screamed in frustration as she balled her hands at her sides and started storming away.

This was....not good. Perhaps, hopefully, Naohiko would be able to do some damage control here, "Wait! Wait! We know your encounters with our clan haven't really been good. We were hoping that you would allow us to make amends and clear away any misunderstandings. " Naohiko would proffer forward the little red and white origami bunny if Ichi seemed willing to listen. "At the very least, please take this as a token of esteem. The Hare clan is one of the oldest and most powerful minor clans. To prove ourselves worthy of an alliance of such a clan is one of the main reasons we're here. However, if you do not wish to deal with us, it is understood." It was then a realization of something the little Hare blurted finally cracked through Naohiko's skull. "....our monk was a WHAT?"

It was about that point that Kaichiyo finally managed to look past the glorious bosom and finally realize that it was a Scorpion she was talking to. A very friendly, gorgeou- ahem... but whose motivations were rather notoriously filled with agendas. To what end she wasn't sure, but after hanging around Naohiko and his father enough she was fairly certain she could identify Scorpion-speak when she heard it. Not that she could discount the woman's words, but they would have to be taken with a few grains of salt. Besides, it wasn't like they weren't trying to get up at a reasonable hour. It was just... hard. Either way, the conversation would be interrupted by the commotion outside. Trying to get a straight answer from a Scorpion was a task best saved for low-stress environments. Possibly with booze involved, though that in itself was risky.
She winced hard at the Usagi's angry rant, feeling genuinely sorry for the girl, and doubly pained at the worry someone might have heard all that. It was much to their benefit that the morning was getting late and everyone in the wing was probably out doing things, but at the very least there was one force of dangerous drama-wielding standing right next to her, curiosity plastered on the woman's face. Crap. As if this court hadn't already been a torrent to bad. With a pained groan she faded back into her room, letting Naohiko deal with this for now while she sat back on her bed and lamented. "Ugh, this whole thing has been a disaster. I just want to go home..."

Gendo just looks at the assorted dogs, then down at Setsuna, then back at the puppies. "They're children. They want to play and experience all the new and exciting things about them." He frowns, thinking over how to start going about this. The man was horribly wrong, but he couldn't tell such a thing to him. Of the two, it was Setsuna who was in charge and allowed Gendo to do his work or attend events for Kaichiyo-hime. Oh, how to start, how to start.

Kyouya listened, a small amused smile on her face as the Hare and Kraken 'spoke' in the hallway. Her green eyes did widen a bit behind her mask as the rant went on, before she bit her lip to bite back an outright laugh.
"Sooo..." she said quietly, moving back from the door just a bit, but staying near enough to try catch more tidbits. "You attacked the Hare... and one of your companions is a Maho Tsukai?" she asked the forlorn princess. "Your court visit is nothing but extraordinary, isn't it?"
