Without warning, something burst open from it, covering Ripley in a viscous, pungent fluid. It made him feel immediately dizzy and nauseous.

Infected - Earliest stage
Knowing she might be infected, something fabric like was grabbed and thoroughly wrapped around the infected area, making sure nothing can get out. Then, she quietly moved along with the flashlight, until she reached a corner.
She will touch no one until she found Uncle Mark, or more the-thing-that-bit-her to smack with her hammer. Her eyes watched in darkness, glowing an eerie amble yellow with the light shone on her by the ********! How're you silly? Go and get some helps, I don't want to have an owner that only mumble for flesh and have a super ugly appearance! I chose you because I see your potential to be an asian beauty, don't disappoint me!> The voice in her mind was a bit panic, mismatched with his words.
I will be alright....once I find Uncle Mark.

Since he had been holding Alistaire's hand, and searching with the gauntletted one, whatever was gripped onto his arm should not ideally be able to sustain the pressure of the hookshot's launch.
Harland hoped.
His heart was beating so heavily that his whole body ached, fired by the single thought that he had to stay alive until he could get Alistaire out.
Just that long.

Whatever it was began to drag Jake towards the exit of the door. It kept on making strange noises, clattering noises. It sounded excited.

Jake can try to free himself! He must attack 3 times in succession without missing! If he misses even one time, he has been taken away to ???
There were hands everywhere. He could barely see Gir's blade flash before a pair of hands were ripped away. Tuck fought. He fought for his life. Even when Evan lashed out again and missed, Tuck fought.
Fighting did little good, and Tuck was soon swept away.

This was bad. Really bad. Something about the injured trainee being possibly infected kept Nellie from reaching out to her initially but she couldn't deny the instinctive urge to reach out and try to help eventually. Afterall, if this was her or someone else she knew, she wouldn't want to be left to her own devices at the end of the day. Surely there would be a way to help the infected that the Life techs would be aware of.
"Someone's here. And injured too!" She called out towards both Harlow and Zascha the moment they were within range.

" Zascha made a sweep with the flashlight before giving her wrist a tug in the direction he could remember the door out of the room being.
There was someone staring straight at Zascha. They were holding a very large sawblade, unnaturally large, looming at an odd ten feet high. They continued to just stare at him. Nobody else had noticed this figure yet.

There were things starting to close in and it was hard to hide her frantic tone, but at least they knew she was still right where Evan had left them. Stormy started to edge closer to Gale, her weapon up to defend them both, though as always the priority was her boyfriend if things got too dire.
She was ready to attack if they got too close.

It had only been a few seconds since he had been attacked, and while a sense of panic began to claw it's way up into his chest at the implications of what had just occurred began to take hold, he resolutely stifled those feelings immediately, shoving them back down as he fought to regain some sense of what the ******** to do.
He still couldn't see. He had no idea where Jack, Chel, Ripley or Hanna were, let alone anybody else. He had been bitten, but at that moment, felt fine.
And then he heard what he thought was Jack's voice, nearby, followed soon after by Ripley's.
"I'm...." He began, a shout that was cut off mid-sentence. He was going to say he was fine. There was no reason to make any of the others (god forbid) worry about him. "Something ******** bit me!" He shouted instead.

She flicked her flashlight around some more, looking for any way to climb up to the level above.
There was debris on either sides, next to the desk. It was probably possible, by taking the desks next to the debris and piling it, that they could make it to the second floor. However, it was also riddled with the infected.

If you plan to venture to the second floor, you will need to take out the 100 HP of the wall of infected covering that area. You may attack as many times as you want, but if you miss, you are BITTEN. Anyone may help you as well, same results for them. You also take 5 damage every swing.

"Gaaaahd s**t ******** s**t." She hadn't stopped chanting since the lets went out. Noemi's flashlight was, honestly, not making her feel any better. Everything she hit with the beam was just carnage, gore and mayhem. She wasn't shy around blood but even with the danger overwhelming her senses she could feel her stomach roiling. A hunter was being torn to shreds so she looked to another spot.. but it was just disgusting everywhere.
The beam swung and caught white and gold. "Who...whossat?" She said insistently to the person, someone close in the dark. A weapon she saw strike, once-twice-three times.
"C..C'mon!" She grabbed for them blindly, yanking until they were close. "I swear ta ******** christ, whoever ya are, if yer bit I'll kill ya myself!" She was breathless, trembling, but somehow convincing.
Evan kept after the creature that had dragged Tuck off, barely able to keep sight of them through lights that jerked and flickered and died as Hunters fell. He caught flashes of the other man through the strobe-like lights, and eventually he caught up to them again. "No you ******** don't," he ground out, lashing out at the monster that held Tuck captive

Her ears perked up a certain voice, and Sherry summoned her weapon, stepping away from the wall and into the 'do not want' land. "Jake?"
"Over here!" The voice sounded exactly like Jake, but was coming from the hole on the far end of the room away from where the actual one was. "I'm over here!"
Jake regretted many things, and one of them, right now, was not having a projectile weapon. "Let GO!" he hissed, summoning Chester. And what was that god-awful sound it was making, ugh!
