☽ Emma's ears twitched slightly as Herald entered the room though she continued to focus on the book. Once he spoke, her gaze went to him "It is. And it is pretty good." she said before looking back at the book and finding the place she was at. From the looks of it, she was almost finished. ☾

Never Again...Herald nodded slowly. "What's it about?" He asked, wondering what kind of books Emma liked to read. She definitely seemed into it, in fact she was almost done. Herald have never really been a big fan of books, though he had taught himself to read he never really enjoyed it. Will I be bound in chains

Never Again..."Ah, sounds interesting," Herald said, though he obviously didn't think it was. "I'm glad you found something you like though. I....heard that that was kind of what Christmas was about. Gifts and things like that."Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma looked at Herald for a moment before looking at the book again. She could tell he wasn't interested in books which kind of bummed her out. To be fair though, she wasn't fond of battling for fun all the time so it seemed they were even. "It partially has to do with that." she said. She was gathering this all from how it sounded from the books Mirai gave her. After another minute or so she pulled herself back upright and turned so she was sitting properly on the couch. She closed the finished book with a proud expression on her face. She always felt a sense of achievement when she finished a book. ☾

Never Again...Herald knew she was proud of the fact that she had finished the book and reached over and pat her on the head. "Good job," he told her teasingly before he leaned back into the couch. He thought for a moment before he looked over at her. "What else do they do on Christmas?" He asked her. Will I be bound in chains
