EDIT: ******** YOU TOO DICE GODS. So no canto, just gonna have to end on space 19 and eat it. ******** AGAIN: Right so I realize now that I'm most likely dead. The rolls have not been kind to us these past few turns. Just in case, should you not roll a high enough to buy some pure water Sue, I'd like you to take my arms scroll. I'd rather not lose that, because the spear is an acceptable loss.

FACEPALM.Guys, since we're in such a precarious position, please start checking in here before you make your moves. Like, Ziaram had the right idea: join the rest of the group. Rin, I really would rather you tried to move to 18 to heal Seth. That would've put you with the rest of the group, and Seth and Shinon's upcoming moves would've protected you. Since the barbarian only has 8HP left, I'm thinking Vika should fly down to get out of Provoke range and take it out. Vika has more chance of rolling 2/8 than Seth does a 3/8. Vika will stay there to bait Jaren off the fort, which means that Seth, whatever he does, should not prevent Jaren from attacking her by either blocking him from reaching Vika or sharing her space. The further he goes, the better, though, so my idea is space 24, Pavise. We don't want those three barbarians reaching us while Jaren still stands. Vika has a 1.56% chance of death. (Basically, double 8s is the only thing that can kill her, and if Jaren gets lucky enough to roll double 8s then ******** this game, it didn't want us to win anyway.) Mihira can't do more than 9 damage to Jaren on the fort, and if Jaren stays on the fort that's a wasted move. So right now, you're better off getting back to full health.

Queen Melethia Dagon I'm curious as to how much of a chance Rath has of dying with that fire mage focusing first. Mage: 4MAG (focus) Rath: 0RES (weak to fire) atleast[23]((((1d10*2)+4)*2)-0) = 70% atleast[23]((((1d4*2)+4)*2)-0) = 25% Toasty nomad.

I don't feel comfortable with you moving and then attacking, when you have a unit with provoke in front of you. If you're going to attack, you should attack Jaren. Your intent is to attack on your turn, which, in my mind, would activate provoke.
I'll let people debate that and see what they think is fair.
As for Rath, I have 50% chance to get to space 56, where Demoiselle will help out and I will go further away if I can. I can also use my HP tonic to put my HP to 28, which will mean the mage has to roll a 5 if I can't get any Demoiselle help. If I can, it'll have to roll a 6. This means if it has to attack with tomefaire, it can't kill me.
I think I'll need Tiki to help me out, though. The most the Necromancer can do to her is 5 damage. If he did max damage, the mage would need to roll at least an 8 to beat her... except that Tiki has Miracle, so even if she can't get all the way over out of Necromancer range and has to take both hits, she'll just be at 1HP, meaning she has a 0% chance of dying. ...But then poison would take off 2HP... She'd need to be at 3HP to survive, meaning that if the Necromancer did max damage to her, the mage rolling anything above 6 would mean death.
We'll just see what I can do on my turn first.

If Vika can't move, then she has no intention of attacking Jaren. Fire Emblem logic: you see a unit that doesn't have a generic face, you try to talk to it! (In all fairness, I think Isadora would have a better chance at talking than Vika would have, but that bird's long flown the nest.) Would it work better if Vika flew to that space, didn't attack, and let Seth try to finish the barbarian?

I didn't say she couldn't move. But if her intention is to attack on her turn, then there's a unit with provoke in front of her, which would cause her to target him rather than move elsewhere to attack.
But like I said, I'm willing to let people say what they think is fair.

But like I said, I'm willing to let people say what they think is fair. Since nobody else is throwing in their two cents, I'll throw in mine. I agree with you on the whole "if you have a choice to attack multiple units from the same space, Provoke kicks in" thing. In my mind, though, if someone is provoking you, you have two options, you either fall for it or you run. And if you run, you get away, your clarity comes back and "oh hey, it'd be smarter if I attack this person instead!"

Uh... so what do you want me to do this round? Fall back as far as I can go and heal or stay on the fort and heal?

Wyvern Lord Vaida Uh... so what do you want me to do this round? Fall back as far as I can go and heal or stay on the fort and heal? I think you should stay and heal. Jaren does a laughable amount of damage on you (12 max, which you'll heal up after the round, assuming he attacks you) and we need to prepare for the incoming barbarians. Mihira has a minimal chance of doing any lasting damage, and we have a good chokepoint here if we can just get everyone to it. (LOOKING AT YOU, RIN.)
