Anyway, I'm Kitsune Ketz Kwineight, the guild captain. You can call me Kitsune or Ketz or whatever.
I enjoyed Fushigi Yuugi to an extent, but never got super into it, but I was fond of the little bit of Ayashi no Ceres I have read. Watase Sensei's art style is very appealing to me.
Oh... *tears of joy* Someone else who has actually heard of, no less played Fatal Frame?! Your username reminded me of it immediately, but what a pleasant surprise to actually read that you like one of the games! Crimson Butterfly is my favorite, but I thought The Tormented was the scariest. Haven't played the one for Wii yet, as it is not coming out in the US, but my friend has a Japanese copy, and we are waiting for a patch to be released that will translate it and make it playable on an American Wii. Ahem, but very exciting to meat other Fatal Frame fans! Have you played any of the others besides the second? Oukami and Xenosaga are amazing too, though I only ever played through completely the first Xenosaga.
I have a relatively old school deck as well, mostly because I'm pretty attached to it, and I don't have money to buy cards anymore. I think the newest card I have in there is Red Eyes Black Chick. Unfortunately, this guild doesn't have too many members who play the card game, so I'm afraid you'll find the TCG subforum quite inactive. My deck is a defensive trap deck though, using Red Eyes Black Dragon/Chick as a quick summon powerhouse combo once I get my opponent's field empty.
As for RPs, we only have one active one right now, and it is a rather silly RP, more than a serious one. You are always free to start your own RPs in here though, and invite whoever you wish to join.

I also love Ryou and Atem! Though they aren't quite the top of my list...not sure if you've seen yet, a listing thread has recently come into being. For all your character ordering needs. Has been quite nifty actually.

Speed skating sounds fun, how long have you been doing that?

I can't say I care much for Screamo either, though there's maybe some I like? Personally it's rap I can't stand, the important thing for me with music is that it's musical. I do not want to be talked at. There are some exceptions, usually things that have a melodic chorus of such awesome win I can't help but forgive the rest.

I am also a little weird with the spelling/grammar. Sad as I'm an English major and have just gotten my first acceptance into an MA program in English Lit. Oh well. The important thing is that during my BA I was creative writing and I plan to pursue lit. It's all about the works, not about the details ^_~.

Brass?!? *jumps around with uber joy*...what do you play what do you play? Even if you are lame I'm still excited! Ugh, I wanna learn how to play the trumpet like crazy! I wanted to switch in HS but my mom was like no. However she did agree to pay for flute lessons to get out of paying for a new instrument. Oh well, I do like the flute. FYI, if you hadn't gathered, I play flute. Not that great, but I'm ok. Played all the way through college and now kinda fiddling around on my own. Trying not to get too horribly out of shape because I'm considering rejoining a band if I can in grad school and/or looking into community bands. I really miss being part of a band.

Ah, more people who can draw. I am always jealous ^_~.

And I've been wanting to get involved in another RP besides the silly one, so depending on what you are up for I'd maybe be interested.

The roleplay we are currently doing is the chatroom one, and you can be ANY character in the series so there are tons of slots. You can look at the list and see what's taken. However currently only the characters played by guild captain Kits, Karma and myself are active. Ghost shows up from time to time. You could maybe bump into a role that someone claimed but didn't keep up with, of course I won't promise anything. That's up to Kits of course.

Anyhow welcome to the guild again! I'll end this ramble for now, sorry, I don't always know when to shut up razz . Glad to have fresh blood...muwhaha!

Oh, you should definitely try out the others. =D Fatal Frame 1 is kind of hard to find, but it's the worst in the series in my opinion. Still really good, because this is Fatal Frame still, after all, but not as scary as the third, and not as touching/good of plot as the second and third. Some of the rituals in it are the most gruesome in my opinion though. But I believe 3 is pretty easy to find (I think?) and it's a bit longer than the other two I believe. It also is very touching, you get to play actively as not only the main character, but the main character from the first game, and a new character named Kei (who, being a man, is totally useless compared to the two women, but at least has a nice butt that you get to follow around all the time). It's a bit more difficult too, especially the last boss fight. And also ends with another gorgeous number by Tsukiko Amano; Koe. <3

Oh, wow, you're right, the patch is out!! *flails in excitement* I must let my friend know! You can download it from the biggest Fatal Frame fan site, Beyond the Camera's Lens. It's sad though, because I just checked the site like five days before the patch came out, and it said they were taking a break, so haven't checked for like a month! T^T Thank you for telling me!

Yeah, it's the chatroom RP, and as JK says, you can play any character you like that isn't already claimed. The list on the first page is just a list of characters that have been claimed; any characters not listed are still open.

@JK: I'm kind of in line with you. Generally don't like screamo unless it's for only part of the song, like with a lot of Maximum the Hormone's music. Only a few rap songs I like, and they have to have some good singing parts, like Modern Times.

As for the RP, I have already removed any characters from the list that hadn't been played at all when we did that announcement, so everyone on the list has at least posted once. I would prefer to keep it where we let people keep their characters for a bit, but if someone else really wants a character they have, then we can try talking it out; see if the person who had the character first intends to post ever again.

Hello there Rik, do you mind if I go by Rik? I tend to shorten names, so while I'll prattle on and on and on in a post, I tend to be lazy when it comes to typing names. I'll probably go by Rikkai at least though, if you don't actually prefer your name. I am JK (that is much easier than writing out my whole username 3nodding ), pleased to make your virtual acquaintance ^_^.

Glad to hear you are a Yu-Gi-Oh fan, that's always a nice touch in this guild wink . Won't even deny that we sometimes get off topic though redface , at least you'll never have to feel guilty if you do the same.

I myself can enjoy a really long anime, the only thing I dislike is repetition. I've recently gotten into Naruto, and it'll never be a love of mine, but I enjoy it enough. However, in the second and third season about a third of each episode was devoted to a recap of the previous episode. And even in later seasons you'll get the same flash back over and over. I don't care if it's long and extended, I just wish it was always new.

Another Nintendo person eh? Well you'll get along with the guild captain Kits then, just don't gang up on me! *hugs my PlayStation defensively*.

You'll have to tell me what a weeaboo is, I'm not familiar with Touhou so that might be why I'm missing the reference. However perverted and creepy I both know and do well, so glad to hear that ^_~.

Umm...I don't know if Kits wants to grill you, although I suppose you could ramble a bit on particular seasons, characters and pairings you like in YGO. OR!! Ignore that, and go make use of the threads!!! Particularly the character discussion ones. There are only about 8 or so individual character discussion threads, but perhaps a little more life in them will prod the guild captain to make new ones faster *pokes Kits*. And of course there are other threads to talk about pairings and other aspects of characterization as well.

Also, there is a TAS thread (Yu-Gi-Oh the Abridged Series, by the witty and talented LittleKuriboh)...are you familiar with that? IT IS AMAZING!! Well...I think so, hehehe.

Alright then Rik, and yes, you most definitely won't be the only one. Also, feel free to interrupt any conversation to jump on topic, we love that. You of course could also join us in being off topic as well.

I am the same way, even if I'm 99% sure the episode is all fluff, even if someone tells me it's 100% fluff, I still have to watch it and make sure. I'll know what to not rewatch in the future, but I've got to watch everything once. It's why I prefer to watch longer series in English. Certain series I can't stand the dub (either because the translation is too cheesy or I hate the voices), but if the series extends beyond 30 or so episodes I have to watch it in English. At the very least I can multitask through fluff (the repetitive/recap kind of fluff that is).

I don't see anything wrong with being totally nerdy, how could that be construed as an offensive statement? Hehe, anyhow I see. References are always fun, and you won't be the only one making random references that inevitably one person will need explained. Sometimes references can even be amazing, as obscure references have been what's gotten me into some of my favorite animes/mangas/books/etc. I'm pretty sure nobody in here will weird out on you, but I suppose I shouldn't speak for everyone, I can at least promise that I'm not likely to weird out and to even thoroughly enjoy it wink .

Although I am leaving on a trip tomorrow, so if I personally vanish (I might not, we'll see what my internet situation is when I get there) I apologize, and promise I'll be back by Saturday at least.
