The Voice made itself known again, and Evan shrugged as it complained. "You've kind of jerked us all around in the meantime. Can you really blame people for being mad?" He didn't know if the Voice could hear his thoughts, but confronting it made Evan feel better, at least. The Tower was tall and throbbed with power, urging him to go upward. Climb, it begged of him, climb high into my depths.
He obliged readily, eager to know what the Tower held. The Voice - the lie - was an obvious answer. Though it had lied and though he was fake, the former paladin still longed to see this thing that had created him.
A door - etched with a warning. Sacrifice all that he heard? What would it matter; the sky was falling. Then end was come.

She hadn't gotten far when the door came before her. Her bare feet scuffed on the floor as she scowled at the words scrawled across it. Sacrifice all she heard..? That was... somewhat ominous. Still, not the worst thing she'd encountered that day.
Taking a breath, she pushed the door open and stepped into the... wow. Her perception swung as her body took in the sheer impact of the silence. One hand went to rest against the wall, steadying herself. It took a few breaths--ones she couldn't hear, an alarm in and of itself--before she was able to compose herself enough to push off and keep walking. Her wings stretched back a little from her body, tail swaying behind her. Both were tools to keep herself balanced, trying to resist the urge to reach for the wall again.

Step by step she went, every now and then pausing to readjust to the lack of sound. It was more than disconcerting. All of her experiences thus far... there was still sound. But there was sight at least. And touch. The feeling of the stairs beneath her feet centered her, and her limbs balanced her.
Last time she'd gone up stairs like this, it'd been in the company of another. What became of Joachim? Her wings lowered slightly, chest rising quickly and falling rapidly in a sigh. The company... would have been nice here. Even if she could not speak to him, and could not hear him... it'd be better than this.
Continuing on, Agsil was at least able to smile at the fact that if she fell, she'd be able to keep herself from landing on her back again.

It occurred to her. While there were no sounds from the outside world reaching her, she could at least hear her own thoughts. Considering she just came from that... limbo, she supposed it was oddly convenient. No real distractions keeping her from thinking about what just happened.
Sure she kept looking around making sure rocks weren't falling onto her, and the shaking stairs had her stopping every now and then... but otherwise.
This was a pretty introverted time.
Had she ever... done that before? In the Violet Kingdom? Just stopped and considered what turn her existence had taken? She couldn't recall, so perhaps not. Just accepted she was dead and... well. Not really moved on, per say. It was sort of hard to do that when surrounded by fellow dearly departed. She'd been too new to really pick up a hobby or something...

Was she still dead? Hm. Hard to be dead if she was... not even real. So was she walking up towards her death? Or her erasing? Was that even a proper term to use here?
Okay never mind. That was way too depressing to think about.
Made it harder to keep walking, needing to pause for a moment to sit on the steps where she was. She popped air out between her lips, feeling the vibrations but hearing no sound. Getting back to her feet, she continued on. No, she had to exist in the moment. Live in the moment. It was pretty obvious from the quakes nothing good lay above her. Perhaps she would get a good fight out of this? Go out with a bang?
That'd be fun.

The going was... well. Her feet ached, but onward she pressed. Oh, she realized she had wings. Flying up was certainly a temping thought. But given where she was... it didn't seem that out of the question for a bolt of lightning to come out of nowhere and strike her down.
And if that made her go all the way down... well. That'd just not be acceptable. Not worth the risk.
Her feet could deal.
""You dare take the powers of the others, when I created you, gave you purposed, and promised you a Kingdom. You dare raise your punitive claws against me? Even reforged you will never be on the same level that I am."
That was unexpected.
Hearing something made her jump, requiring her wings to lash through the air to keep her upright. Falling. Not an option. Stop it!
Was that the Voice? What, pissed she was adorned with silver instead of purple now? She gave a snort, though could only feel it. What was it complaining about? It wasn't deaf, aching, previously thought itself dead, and fake-- Hm.
Wait, was it? There was a question.
If everything else here was a fake...
The thought appealed to her, making her smile as she continued to ascend. "My only purpose was to fight a battle that doesn't matter. That is neither a true existence, or true purpose. It's a game," were her thoughts back to the Voice. Assuming it even heard her. "If you wished to play god and hold true dominion over all you made... perhaps you should have refrained from giving your creations a sense of will."

Her mental shouts to the Voice had distracted her long enough. She'd taken too long, and had still a ways to go. More than halfway there at least. Her eyes trailed upward, curious what she would find next in this place. Would... she see anyone she knew?
Or would this silence continue onward in solitude?

With a breath of relief Agsil came to the top of the stairs. She glanced back behind her, impressed by the height. Would have gone by much quicker had she just... flown, but. Chances she wasn't willing to take right now. Shaking her head a little, she began to move onward. She still wasn't at the top of the tower, not yet.
"All I ever wanted was to find the True King, and get, the others still stand in my way. I have given them no harm, no trouble, I have waited this long, and my prize is to be betrayed by everything I embrace, again."
The Voice again. She placed hands on hip, though could not help but feeling... a little sympathetic towards the being. It felt betrayed. That... was a surprise. "You might not have meant harm, but you've inflicted it. It's hard to stay in a game once you know it's all for nothing. When the illusion is gone... what's the point?" Well wasn't she a bucket of sunshine.
Her gaze flickered down, brow furrowing slightly before giving a quick tsk. She had to keep going. Dwindling too long would serve no purpose.

She had already lost so much... so what was losing one more?
With a heavy sigh, she pushed the door open, and looked around at all the others.
She needed to know what was going on... the silver king...

If so, she wanted to wake up.
This wasn't a dream anymore... it was a nightmare.
