"I will look for them outside the village, I am sure it was the exiles! No one else would dare touch my pups!" MIchiko was already heading out the door. Hakazi sighed, "Suzume and I will look within the village." "Lumine, should we go after Michiko?" "I will help the other guys," Ochiba ran after the Watiso siblings. She looks over at Lumine and nods, running out the door. Hanari lifted her scythe over her shoulder.

Lumine nodded to Hanari. "Yes! If she runs into any trouble, she'll need backup!" She took Hanari's free hand with her own and bolted out of the door, chasing after the quickly disappearing figure of Michiko in the distance. Despite being swift, they couldn't match a pure blood Tengu's speed.
"If it really is the exiles, then Michiko will need help! Remember, it took half of the Elites to chase away those other two!" Lumine explained as she ran, her Shepard's staff tucked under her arm. "Besides, what if something really bad has happened to the pups? We... we need to help no matter what!" By now, they had made it outside the village. Without the buildings in the way, they could at least see Michiko in the distance.

Michiko was far ahead of them by now, but thankfully still in their field of vision.
"I hope we are not too late... Why would the exiles want a pair of puppies? Think it'd be ransom of sorts? It is still dishonorable, even by their standards." A tengu landed by them, thankfully it was Kamuko Yao. "Ah-?" "I got word of what has happened, I have come to help." Kamuko nodded to the two workers of heaven. She, like mostly everyone, was unaware of who Hanari was, but the nod was return in kind by the once Elite. "Thank you." Hanari nodded," Come on we better hurry, lest Michiko takes on the entire exiles out of rage."

"That's sorta what I was thinking! Oooh, if they hurt one hair on their heads...!" Lumine said, clenching a fist and shaking it as they ran. It probably would have been smarter to fly, but Lumine probably still couldn't do that. Probably. "Oh! Hi Miss Yao!" Lumine said cheerfully, waving to the bow-wielding Tengu. "We can use any help we can get! Especially Michiko! Let's go, there's not a moment to lose!"
A short while later, and they'd finally reached their destination - a rather large fortress wall hidden among the forest, secluding the Exiles to their secrecy. Lumine took a few steps closer, looking around for any sign of the Kazuko.
"Michiko...?"

"It seems like it," Yao nods to them and follows by foot till they reach their destination. She looks up at the wall, as Lumine tried to get to Michiko, who had moved parallel to the wall. "HEY!" Michiko howled and growled, beating her fist to the wall repeatedly as she walked. "Oh god, she is going to piss someone off!" Hanari hurried after Michiko, Yao lagged behind to stay with Lumine

"Michiko! Wait, stop!" Lumine called out, running up to her wolven friend. She grabbed Michiko by th arm and held her, to keep her from assaulting the door any further. "Mihiko, if you keep it up like this you will make someone mad... and it could lead to an incident between the village and these exiles! We should try to be... uh, polite! Hanari, what's the word?" She asked as the other two approached. "Tactful?"

"You think they don't know we are coming out here?! These bastards have my pups!" "We have no proof of that yet-" " "Just because you handle Exile affairs does not mean you get to stand up for them when they are taking people from the village!" "Michiko, running head first into this without tact will cause trouble. If you barge in and you are wrong, you could cause a war, like Lumine said. We are never on great terms with the exiles, but we best not make things more difficult than need be." Yao spoke matter of factly, not letting Michiko enrage her as well, "We will walk through the front door, it is the benefit of dealing with the exiles. Such has always been the Yao clan's business, and it will continue to be so. I beg of you to calm down, or-" Michiko took Yao by the front of the robes, "Listen to me. These bastards have my children. I know it. Their scent lingers. A mother cannot forget the smell of her own children, specially not a wolf. Don't tell me to calm down. You have no kids to know what I am feeling right now. If something happens to them kamuko-" "Stop you two!" Hanari said in a hushed voice. "We need to be quiet and deal with the matter at hand. Michiko let go of Kamuko. She did as prompted, letting Kamuko shoot daggers at her before stepping to the side and allowing her take lead of the party. Michiko's low guttural growls silenced only the minute that Kamuko had ceremoniously gotten them all into the village. Each one received a blue blanket. "Drape this over your shoulders, it is our permission to be here." "We will go see The leader, and ask for her blessing in our search of the pups, so as to let us go in and comb through the village."" "Her blessing? What sort of Bullshit is this." "Do as Yao says, Michiko, or we will could put the pups in danger. If they are indeed holdingg them hostage, a defiance of their laws could be an unforgivable offense." Only then was Michiko quiet. "Come on."

Lumine did as she was instructed, draping the tapestry around her shoulders as prompted. She rather liked the color, to be honest, and wondered if she could keep it at the end of the day?
However, that was neither here nor there. Lumine kept close to the group as they made their way into the heart of the village, where their leader most likely was. Naturally, the group gained the inquisitive (or perhaps hated) gaze of nearly every member of the exiled as they passed. It made Lumine feel very uncomfortable... and eerily reminiscent of her tme spent in Bhavagra after she woke up. Shaking the thought, Lumine approached Kamuko and began to whisper to her;
"Excuse me, miss Yao? Will we really be allowed to just... search throughout the village?" The Shepard took a look around, matching a few of the eyes staring back at her. "That seems like a stretch... even if we should be officially allowed. What if some try disobey? Or if the law isn't honored...?"
