"This dance was to bring about spring rain and encourage the flora to awaken and renew. Soon they will begin their mating dances, which signals the beginning of mating season for various amphibians and birds. Later they will move on to mammals...beginning with deer I believe, let's see...yes, they've already danced for the coyotes..." he said thoughtfully, trailing off for a moment before coming back. "Anyway, normally it's for things like that, though angered Kachinas have been known to bring about droughts and floods as well as storms. They're generally very distrusting of humans and quite observant of one in their midst so the best thing to do if you come upon a party of them is make it clear you don't plan to disturb them and get away as quickly as possible. Unless they want you to stay. Then it's absolutely best to stay and not refuse anything they offer you until they're finished." He said. He paused for a moment before furrowing his brow. "Wait, I don't think I actually answered your question..." He said.

"However, the Kachinas made a rather large bowl, which was made with clay rather than mud I suppose and a lot of fire, then used magic to add different elements until they got what they were looking for from it all. A lot of dancing was involved as well." Alexander said, leaning on the counter some. "Though I'm not entirely sure what they were trying to do to be honest, I didn't catch everything they were chanting, though I know it has to do with the weather." He said. He raised an eyebrow as he looked at Danny then. "You realize of course if I were to say this to a different person, I'd probably be locked away, yes?"╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

"Yeah, probably," she answered, flashing her smile, still kind of giggling. "You realize if any of my friends found me working at an apothecary and talking about mythical creatures, I'd probably be locked away, right? They'd think I committed social suicide. But whatever," she said, repeating his own question back at him with a grin now that she was leaning on the counter as well, facing him. She turned back to Alexander, their faces only several inches apart now. At that moment her phone buzzed in her pocket, and she jumped a little as her cheeks turned red and she took a step back. "Excuse me for a second," she said, slipping her hand back to pull her phone from her pocket.

Alexander said, sitting on the little stool behind the counter with a sigh as he scratched the grumpy fox. He gave a short laugh as she mentioned him taking a day off. "Is that so?" He asked, looking at her with a smile. "Honestly, I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I had a day off." He said. "Though I would like to collect some more Star Chickweed seeds..." He said. He said, smiling as he held her gaze, hos eyes bright. She truly was beautiful, especially so with flushed cheeks. He remembered wondering why none of his kin had attempted to take her from him when they began to notice them together, or even before he'd found her. That was when the idea that he might be getting more attached to her than luring her in to use her required came to him as he decided that if any of them tried, he would defend her. After that it was an extremely steep downhill slope to his realization that yes, he did in fact love her.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝
