Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas ignored Chilia. He would tell whoever it took to get Mirai back. He was only several paces from her now and he reached out towards her, moments before she disappeared. "Wait...Mirai....don't leave without me..." he said weakly. And I just want to show them.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas had managed to pull himself over onto the sidewalk, though he was in a really bad way. He was leaned back against a building, holding one of his arms with the other when a portal opened and Mirai came back through it, even more beat up than before. "Mirai...!" Texas called as he forced himself to stand up and limp over to her. He collapsed onto his hands and knees next to her, still breathing hard and bleeding from multiple wounds. "Mirai..." he managed to say. "Are you okay? ....What happened?" And I just want to show them.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas felt his wounds being healed as she touched his shoulder, but the shame and anger he felt couldn't be healed so easily. He closed his eyes and grimaced, turning away from her. "I'm glad someone was competent enough to protect you," he said, bitterness towards himself evident in his voice. "I guess you're a lot safer with Sanctum than you are with me..."And I just want to show them.
