 Xavier smiled at Coraline. And at Icarius.
It was sweet that he would carry her, in Xavier's opinion.
He braced himself, ready for the long run.
Being a smoker for 5 years, and being cooped up in the apartment,
without excercise, this proved to be a challenge.
But then again, when you're running from hundreds of
dead corpses that want to eat your flesh,
it kind of gives you motivation.
"I could help you run too." Xavier says, smiling at Coraline.
"I just feel I should do my part to help out as much as I can."

 Coraline smiled at Xavier glad that he would like to help her. She is very lucky that they would help her instead of leaving her behind. Even if they did Coraline might be able to survive but she wouldn't blame them for leaving her behind, they cant afford anything to slow them down.Coraline nodded at Icarius and Xavier,"okay lets go."

"Alright, let's do this.." Xavier said. He gazed down at Miza.
Sure, she could fly, but Xavier didn't want to risk leaving her behind.
She may not have been human; she may not be as young as she sounded.
But he wouldn't feel right leaving her behind.
It would be like leaving a child.
"Here." Xavier said, scooping her up, and putting her on his back.
"Ready?" He said to Icarius and Coraline.
He pulled the gun out of his back pocket, making sure it was loaded.
Then, he took off sprinting down the alleyway,
Icarius in the lead, and Coraline next to him.
He gripped on to Miza tightly as he pushed forward down the alley.
Each footfall seemed to resonate in his body.
There didn't seem to be any infected around.
Xavier could see the military base nearing closer and closer,
but they were still at least ten blocks from it.
Xavier kept on running.

Icarius nodded towards Xavier as he assured Coraline. He started running,
though he glanced behind him every-so-often to make sure that they were
both keeping up. He started to pick up the pace as he looked back to find a
few zombies coming out from the avenues. He led the group up the street
directly towards the base and his breathing fought to stay in control as his
legs burned from pushing himself. Looking back at the others he noted that
the zombies were relatively slow and he was glad because Coraline and
Xavier were tiring faster than he was.
"We're almost there," he called back to them before they reached the gates
and Icarius spotted Prometheus standing with two other men and a woman.
He cleared the gate and kept on running, not caring that he looked strange in
an open blue hoodie and a black space helmet, running full-on towards the
small group of people on the base. For the moment, he was just glad that
Prometheus was alright. Prometheus was quite possibly the only one that
Icarius would ever truly have genuine feelings for and care about.

Prometheus gave Elle the co-ordinates to their ship that he pulled up on his
wrist device and nodded at what she said. "Any help you could provide would
be most welcome," he said with a small smile, glad that everything was
looking up for the moment. Everything in the past few days had been rather
overwhelming, so it was nice to know for certain that he was safe.
Icarius dove for Prometheus, knocking the Navigator off his feet as they rolled
to the ground together, but Icarius had Prometheus' head cradled in his arms
so that he wouldn't get hurt (though his forearms took quite a bit of damage).
As Icarius took off his own helmet, he pulled Prometheus into a very intimate
kiss that would likely be rather awkward to watch. He pulled away and his
steely blue eyes looked into Prometheus' and they both took a breath before
Icarius nuzzled into Prometheus' embrace.
"...I missed you, too," Prometheus said with a small smile and kissed Icarius'
short hair before he chuckled softly as he continued: "Though a less dramatic
entrance might've been nicer... and would have spared you some injury..."
Prometheus smiled as he held his Fighter close on the ground before he
nudged him and cooed, "You are the most... unpredictable man I've ever
met... now let's get off the ground..."
Icarius nodded and helped Prometheus up before giving the other man one
last smoldering look before actually checking if his own group had made it to
the base safely. Prometheus was his partner, his Navigator, and the only one
that really mattered to him, but the others had helped him reunite with
Prometheus, and he admitted that he owed them more than just a quick
glance to make sure they were still alive.

Xavier, quite out of breath, slowed to a stop as they reached
the military base. It looked much more massive up close.
Standing near a gate was Prometheus, two other men and
a woman.
Xavier glanced back to make sure Coraline had caught up.
"You alright?" Xavier asked making sure both her and Miza
were alright. Miza seemed pretty cooperative the whole journey.
Xavier set her lightly down on the ground.
He looked over to see Icarius and Prometheus in a tight
embrace on the ground.
It was an odd sight to see, but sweet.
Xavier felt a sharp stab somewhere in his chest.
He clenched his teeth and turned away,
facing the new group.
"Uhm, hi everyone. I'm Xavier. This is Coraline,"
he said, indicating Coraline.
"And this is.. Miza." He said, indicating the Moogle.
He expected the others to be shocked by the sight of her
like he was at first.
It wasn't rude; he was just used to seeing humans,
and normal animals. Well, normal on their planet, that is.
But this had been one hell of a journey, and Xavier was
beginning to learn that anything was possible.
He looked at Icarius, who was on his feet now.
Xavier stuck out a hand.
"Thanks.." He said. "For getting us here safely."

Morgan had acknowledged the apology from Elle and shook her hand with a
bit of uncertainty. Morgan usually wasn't one for conspiracy theories, but
why had all these space people gotten to Earth around this exact time?
Were they meant to help, or perhaps they were the ones who had started
this whole thing? He hoped that somehow it was the former option, but even
so he was starting to get suspicious of anyone not of this planet and time.
Morgan started talking with Captain Lee about getting some food, but out of
seemingly nowhere, Prometheus had been tackled to the ground by another
man and Morgan stood frozen with his cricket bat raised. Had a zombie just
run into the base? Where they under attack? A million like-minded things
sprang to mind before he saw the man that had tackled Prometheus kiss
him without abandon.
Blinking for a moment with his mouth agape, Morgan looked away and
walked towards the base with Captain Lee to get something to eat. He would
let the others deal with that very weird encounter, and left before the rest of
the people (and a moogle) arrived.

Coraline was running with the group. She was getting tired but they were so close, she couldn't have gave up yet. They finally got to the Military base. Coraline took a deep breathe, then glanced at Icarius to see him and Prometheus embrace each other. It was a bit of a awkward moment. But she smiled to see love still continuing even with a zombie apocalypse happening. Coraline looked at Xavier "yeah, I'm fine." still a little bit panting.

Prometheus smiled at the group he recognized from the apartment complex...
save for a strange new creature. "Miza, hmm?" Prometheus asked before
scanning the little creature. He looked at the readings and smiled slightly
before he said, "I hope you don't mind... I'm just naturally curious." He didn't
want to offend the small creature, but he just found anything new rather fascinating.
Icarius smiled at Xavier and shook his hand before he replied, "I'm just glad
you held your own and kept up." He looked to Elle and the remaining male
standing by before telling them his codename as Prometheus had. "Guess
we should have a look around..." he said, and noted that the zombies that
had been tailing them had since dispersed back into the streets since their
prey had outrun them.
Icarius went back to pick up his and Prometheus' helmets from where they
had fallen and gave Prometheus' back to him before putting his own in the
hood of his hoodie. He really didn't fancy carrying it around.

Noah took in Sebastian’s statement and agreed in an equally hushed
town. “She certainly is independent, and lucky.” He was quietly watching the
waving trees in the night air, the back of his mind ceasing thought as his
eyes grew heavy. He knew it was time for rest, so he could be better
prepared for the next morning. “Well,” he started, after Sebastian invited him
to take his leave. “It is late, and as long as you make sure to wake Courtney
and I… Well, just remember to get me to switch if you need too. Goodnight.”
And with that, Noah took his leave, but Noel stayed outside. She sang for
Sebastian a bit but knew it was time to be quite and not draw attention to
their location.
Noah meanwhile got back inside, left his clothes on and his
possessions hidden under his blanket tucked beside him, and slept through
the night.The night morning he awoke early, restless after sitting still so long.
And very, very hungry.

 Natalie crammed herself into the helicopter next to the solider, completely missing the strange interactions passing between him and the two other women. For the soldier's part, he blinked, a strange look on his face before he shook his head in dismissal.
"Hi," Natalie yelled at the solider, taking the pair of ear-muffs or headphones or whatever the things were that he handed over. He gave identical equipment to Jasmine and Emmerah. As soon as she put them on, the roar of the helicopter was muffled. She then noticed a small microphone attached to the headphones and positioned conveniently in front of her mouth. "You're a lifesaver!"
"Happy to be of service, ma'am. Please strap yourself in. ETA, fifteen minutes."
Natalie did as asked before peering out the window. She couldn't see far in the murky night and the low clouds were helping, but she could swear she could see the other helicopter, the fighter-looking one, circling their own and--
Were they shooting at something? Zombies in the SKY?!
She quickly turned away from the window, feeling sick to her stomach. Evening imagining what those mutations would look like made her want to cry in frustration.
"Hey, do you, uh, do you know a Max and Oliver back at your base place?" Natalie asked awkwardly.
The only part of the soldier's face that wasn't covered by a helmet and goggles happened to be his mouth, so Natalie caught his crooked smile. "The brothers are eagerly awaiting your arrival, miss."{{ I am so very sorry for the delay! For my profuse apologies, please see the discussion thread. :] }}

"Okay, let's have a look around." Xavier said, glad to be somewhere
safe and away from those disgusting creatures that lay just outside
the military bases' walls.
He began to walk with the rest of the group, surveying all of the
newcomers. It was nice to be in a larger group.
Xavier wondered why everyone was so quiet.
He had introduced themselves, so why were these people so
reluctant to speak.. ((Sorry it's short.. the storyline's lacking a bit now, what with the RP ending and everything razz It's been really fun though guys! Really enjoyed this RP ^.^))

 Sebastian ((I completely agree! The RP ends in a few days, anyways :/ )) Sebastian bade Noah good-night, and stretched out under the stars, his arms behind his head. Despite everything that was happening in that moment, he felt quite peaceful. The star's sparkled in the sky, and a bird nearby tweeted a soothing song. Sebastian thought it was Noel, but Noel had flown inside long ago, most likely to snooze next to her master.
Sebastian was beginning to feel tired. Not from the lack of sleep, but an achey body. He was used to going days without sleep, and tonight was just another night. Eventually, the sun began to creep slowly over the horizon, casting a dull orange glow along the tree's and the treehouse. Sebastian was actually surprised how quickly the day had come.
Stretching for a good five minutes, he slowly descended the ladder, opened the door and entered the treehouse. He wasn't sure which room Noah was sleeping in, but his first guess was correct. He pulled open the door, and saw Noah snoozing peacefully on a cot, Noel perched on the window-sill above his head. Sebastian shook Noah gently. "Noah, it's morning." He said.
Noah looked up at him. "Let's look for something to eat, eh?" Sebastian said, with a grin.

Icarius smiled at Prometheus and took the man's hand as he, Prometheus
and Xavier went to explore this place and find out exactly what this whole
place was about. Maybe the war on the zombies would be ended by some
secret kept in this base. Maybe the weapons of biological warfare would be
unleashed, or perhaps all that mattered now was that they were together and safe.
Prometheus let Icarius take the lead as he let go of his hand and went to
walk beside Icarius. "Are you doing alright? I mean, we're safe now, but you
seem to have something on your mind," he said, though the expression on
his face expressed concern and he wondered if perhaps Xavier might talk to him at all.
He had noticed Xavier's expression of hurt when he had seen Icarius and
Prometheus together and, unlike Icarius, was geniunely concerned for Xavier.

Xavier followed behind Icarius and Prometheus as they began
walking around the military base, exploring.
Prometheus seemed to fall behind, then began walking
next to Xavier.
He asked if he was alright.
Xavier smiled.
He didn't speak for a moment.
He was trying to come up with words.
"I've.. lost a lot.. during this thing." He said, slowly.
"But I'm alright." ((Prometheus is so sweet xD))
