Vasilisa had gotten changed into a light green gown with subtle gold parts adorning it. It was similar to the dress she was wearing before, but it covered her arms lightly in green lace. The bruising on her cheek had gone down tremendously as she had kept ice on it and that was when the guard came in. "Lady Vasilisa, would it be possible for you to escort a Mister Loreau to the King?" Vasilisa looked at the guard curiously and nodded. "Of course. Bring me to this Mister Loreau." Her hair was currently out of it's do, and it curled slightly down her back, and reached her mid thighs. When she was lead out to where Loreau was she curtsied and stood once more. "I heard you need me to escort you to the King. It's nice to make your acquaintance. I'm Vasilisa Ruslana Efim." She looked at the man curiously, taking note of who he was. "I heard you are Loreau. Let's be on our way shall we?" She dismissed the guards back to their posts and took a gamble. "You do not have to call me Lady Vasilisa, Vasilisa is enough of a mouthful." She curtsied again and put her hands together in front of her, beginning to lead him the way.

Lorne rolled his eyes a bit. What the Hell was taking the others so long? They should have gotten back from picking up supplies before he got out of the castle. Lorne paced back and forth, his ears folded back and his tail flicking in an annoyed fashion. After a few moments he stopped and turned an eye to Oralee, "Okay, I'm bored. I know that I should have more patience, especially as a......professional in my field." He said trying not to say 'theif' so close to the castle gates. "Ya know, I could go find the others and usher them here. Quickly." He said, something at the back of his mind. "I just have a feeling that the sooner we get in, the better."
Kailey sighed at Loa's continued reticence about saying the Princes name. As they lowered to land, Kaiely nodded. "Don't strain yourself on my account, Loa. I'm sure the young Prince can wait for you, so you don't like break a wing or something." Kailey then thought for a moment, "Can you tell me the young Princes name? You know, the one who has the breathing issue."
((Okay, Janice has like almost no free time, So I will ask her about posting for her. But, we are kind stuck without the people in the Marketplace coming back))

Oralee gave an agreeing nod. "Having patience does not necessarily mean there is a lack of boredom. I support you going and getting them- lounging around outisde the castle for too long will attract notice." Oralee glanced up at the castle walls, for a moment wondering what confidence it must take to build something so large, how one could feel so assured that they would live in that one place their whole lives that they could erect a monument of rock.
"I am afraid I have a habit of pushing myself too far. I am often...scolded for it." Loa hesitated over her choice of word, because it was inaccurate. Her prince didn't scold her, he simply told her he was worried, and asked her to take better care of herself. However, the king, and often lesser nobles, would have her whipped for trying to do too much at once, whipped for the risk of failing. When she was younger, anyhow. Now they didn't dare. "Prince Erasmus. He has a far more familiar name the royal family and those close to him use, but I am not permitted."

Kailey raised an eyebrow, "And you think I'd tell if you said it around me? The same with the older Princes name? You know, you can trust me." she said with a smile. "And while we're down, we should probably eat. You've gotta be hungry, carrying me around. I mean, I am loaded down with weapons." She said as she eyed Loa. "Hey, I got a question for ya." She said softly, "What would you do if your Prince offered to abdicate the throne to be with you. Give up his royal title. Just to be with you. Would you try to be with him then?" ((I'll post with Lorne, when its not 3 am, and I can think clearly))

Loa raised her eyes to Kailey's and shook her head. "No, I trust you. A completely stupid move by my training, but my instincts tell me to trust you. When they are not warning me that birds are eaten by cats." Loa shrugged. "But it is more than the rules I have grown up with, it is a personal honor I hold myself to. I may be only a bodyguard, but I hold myself to standards of a knight." Nodding, Loa pulled out a few fruits from her pack, offering one to Kailey. At her question, though, she flat out dropped it in shock. "Of course not! I will not consider my happiness above the wellfare of the people of both my country and Incolumitas. If my prince is not the one sitting on the throne, or there to advise his father, we will go to war, and many will die." She glanced down, and a single tear slipped out. "I... It is just not meant to be."

Kailey frowned at Loa. Did this girl do anything for herself? "What about the little Prince? Erasmus? Sure, if he's not old enough, he'd need a steward to take the throne till he was of age, but if you got someone who didn't have their head on backwards, it could work." Kailey said sighing and taking a fruit. "I'm sorry if I'm overstepping my boundaries, but I feel that everyone deserves to be happy with the one they love." She said crossing her arms, "And that includes you and your nameless Prince Charming."
Lorne bolted away from Oralee and Alexandre, weaving around and ducking past people. It was a risk, his being a lone beastial in Exortensis. Especially with his short temper at mistreatment. He quickly found the group, and he growled softly. "Hi.....having fun?" He said tapping his foot annoyed. "Maybe its my impatience, or that fact that I just had a nice run in with two members of the royal family......but, myself, Nye, Alexandres, Madison and Pet......we're in front of the castle, garnering too much attention as it is. So us all getting there and getting inside of the castle soon, would be great." He then smiled to Godilieve, "I hope you didn't miss me."
((And without further ado......))
Amalina whizzed past the bakery, thankful for her speed and quick hands. She had snatched a a couple rolls and a loaf of bread with one pass. While she wasn't particularly a fan of petty thievery, in Exortensis, against the bigotry she had seen and experienced, she was fine with stealing from humans. She made her way to the blacksmitch she had been scouting for the past week. Supposedly he was loaded. And she was fine with unloading a little of that money. At least enough to survive. He wouldn't miss it. Probably wouldn't even notice it. She climbed up into a tree and started munching on one of her ill-gotten rolls. Now it was just the waiting game. Her long striped tail and reddish skin constrasted greatly with her white clothes, which themselves seemed out of place. The bell she had tied to her tail jingled as her tailed swayed in the breeze. "Okay, Amalina...." she whispered to herself in between bites, "Just enough to survive. Then I sneak into the castle, steal whatever valuable information I can, the hightail it to anywhere else that it kind to beastials."

Loa shook her head. "No, well, at least not as he is now. Every day he seems at risk to die, coughing so easily, bedridden just from a slightly floral breeze." Glancing up, Loa gave a weak smile. "That's just it, Kailey. He's not my prince charming. He probably never will be. I'm just the baby bird he saved as a child." She glanced away. "He asked me to stand by his side forever, but when he takes a wife, I'm going to leave." Hesitantly, almost shyly, she looked at Kailey. "Think I can track you down then and travel with you?"
Slaine jumped when Lorne arrived, but sighed a sigh of relief. Women and shopping... They just take forever. "As you say. Do we have everything we need?" He glanced back at the rest of the group.

Kailey sighed, not giving up, but realizing that her words now wouldn't mean a thing. Kailey smiled though, when Loa asked about traveling with her. "Oh, I don't know if I could keep my hands off of you, if you were always around." She said with a wink, "But, I wouldn't say no to some company. I travel all over. You'd get to see a lot of the world."

Lo gave a weak chuckle. "You would, I am sure. But if you did not, I would be trying to forget the prince at that point, rather than keeping my heart for him." She nodded. "I am glad. I have only ever been here and in Exortensis. I would travel anyway, but it must be a more pleasant journey with company."

Kailey gave a small whimper and a purr at Loas words. Did she realize what she had just said? "Oh, I may hold you to that. I do hope you aren't just being a little tease." she said looking Loa up and down, "And of course company is nice. Gives you someone to stay warm with on cold nights." She said giving a small wink.

Realizing just what she'd said when Kailey purred, Loa went bright pink. Oh dear. I meant it, but I do believe she will be far more than anticipated. "I am not a tease, no, but I will warn you birds can be timid." When she was looked up at down, Loa half wanted to use her wings to hide herself. At her statement, Loa's face went from pink to red. "Oh my." Clearing her throat, Loa glanced ahead. "We should uh... we should find some place to rest."

Faelynn smiled apologetically. "Sorry Lorne. I was sitting everything." She looked at the items in her hands and nodded. "We should be ready to leave." She thanked Benjamin quickly and walked off in the needed direction, before the others started to.
Godelieve smiled as she heard Lorne' s voice. "Of course I missed you. You probably didn't miss me much though." Her voice held a joking tone to it. She practically ran to his side and grabbed on his arm.
((Sorry it's so short))

Lorne smiled and hugged Godelieve when she clinged to him. "How could I not miss you. But someone had to protect that girl. And it was a damn good thing, too. Though, I doubt the prince would have allowed anything to happen to her." He said with a smile, "And, I think I actually got her parents exiled." Lorne said containing a laugh, "I just said that it was the best punishment for uppity nobles. And the prince liked it."
Kailey smirked at Loas blush. "Oh, I could pull you out of that timid shell. I promise you." Kailey then stepped over and playfully gripped Loas arm, "Oh, this place is fine. I can start us a small fire. This gives you an idea of what travelling with me would be like. Well, at least, the roughing it. I won't get into the fun part, tonight." she said with a wink. Though she flirted with Loa, and was no doubt attracted tot he young knight, Kailey knew in her heart that Loa was meant to be with the Prince. She could still flirt all she wanted.

Slaine glanced over at Lorne as he spoke of getting some nobles exiled. A tiny part of him felt guilty for not feeling bad, until he remembered the look on Vali's face when she had realized her father was near, and Slaine's only regret was that he couldn't grind the mans face into the ground. "Let's get going then." His voice betrayed none of his thoughts, as he gave a quick nod, and then walked towards what he presumed to be the castle.
Loa gave a soft, nervous chuckle at her comment about pulling her out of her shell. "But I am a bird, would a nest not be a more applicable analogy?" Loa did not realize there was a difference between calling herself a bird or calling herself a bird beastial. They were one and the same to the people of exortensis- beastials were as animalistic and simple as the animals they shared traits with. "Is it? Alright." It didn't feel very well defended, considering she'd grown up in a walled off castle- courtyard, really, considering how many times she snuck out into the garden to sleep under the sky. "Oh." Loa blushed a bit at Kailey's words. "Well, it would be good to learn to rough it." Loa waited to be told how she could help set up camp.
