Blessings Followed by Sin Good effort, but ti's a shame the mounds and walls didn't do anything to help though aha. The water was already contained, over contained to be exact. Um...no it was not. No one has posted stopping it that I am aware of. The water came, Jon posted, people created earth mounds, etc, but no one ever contained it till we did it, Sin. Unless you are claiming you did it somewhere else that we simply cannot see?

I read them just fine. I just sincerely doubt that your characters have the time to simultaneously cast a jutsu before the water "touched the ground". In fact I would even state it's an impossibility, considering the vast amount of water and the pressure involved. So, yeah, you can claim it didn't touch the ground, and I'll still ignore it. Because, again, that's an outright impossibility.
So yeah. Diamond dam! And wooden dam! Woo, working together~

Which means the water was already landing. Don't like it, it really don't matter, cause based on all that information, plus the information Ergo gave us (which says it burst out and came crashing down...not "a good hundred feet" away) shows it was already coming down.
And for the record, falling or no, look at your own jutsu description. It's a sphere. So even if you made it right on that hole, it would still come out around it. It is not a wall or dam like mine is, which catches the water. So even with your barrier, water would be coming out, validating my post, as well as the fact that the water DID in fact touch the ground, as shown by Kai's post.
So...yeah, not happening as you envisioned it.

So...yeah, not happening as you envisioned it. Doesn't change, however, that water by this point has escaped. And so you're saying the sphere is...what...hundreds of feet large? Something that can...what...stop the water from moving? There is no true definition. All it says is that a barrier was put in place, not how large, nor how it works. As far as I can tell it's a sphere, and if it's a sphere I doubt it's going to completely stop everything.

Blessings, the way your post came through was faulty to some extent. I can see why Lanfaer is arguing the issue with you, and he is right to do so as well as make his crystal dam, to ensure the safety and validity of the village. Whether all of your techniques worked, or failed, he put his down to ensure the safety of the other residents.
Lan, take the hostility down a notch, please. I understand attempting to drive home your point, but please. Sometimes forcing the issue can just make it worse. While we would all thank you for your efforts, there will always be those who are slighted over their efforts not being enough or a mistake in their post occurring.
To both of you, it happens. Get over yourselves and your egos. This is meant to be a fun and realistic roleplay. If you're just gonna jockey for who is the most badass at doing everything, I'll shut you both down. The constant arguments, while amusing to some of us, is annoying to the rest of us. If it continues, some action will have to take place. Whether it is myself or another moderator will remain to be seen.
