Yuki shrugged, scoupin gup one of the little mice that was scampering around.. a brown one with patched fur. "Onee-chan seems to like you.." he looked at the mouse as it roamed around his palm, he wondered if he should risk being.. "wierd" infront of someone new.. he tossed a glance at the boy.. well he was certiantly wierd enough himself not to care.
He lifted the mouse up, whispering in its ear. Too quiet for any normal person to hear, and even if they could it wouldn't make much sense. The mouse straightened up, looked at yuki then to spiro.. then back to yuki. A small nod was given to the mouse.
The mouse skittered down to teh ground again, stopping cautiously infront of the new boy and giving a few sniffs. After becoming okay with the scent it hopped on him, standing up cautiously to stare at him.

Nikomas Torren Aqua grins broadly at the other girl. "Oh yeah, I'm Aqua! Nice t'meet'cha!" She extends her hand, still smiling but with a finger still aimed at Sere in case of another comment.Sere wisely keeps her mouth shut, but strikes an arrogant pose, foot tapping and arms crossed.

Spiro's gaze lifted to Yuki curiously, "Maybe..." Came his quite uncertain response. Didn't Colette like everyone, though? He examined his feet, and then fiddled with the bandage-wrap around his scraped knee..
He felt a bit awkward actually talking with someone, being that most of the children mostly focused on playing and all of that.. He had never really done too much of it before, so.. He decided he could live without it. Definantly. It was foreign territory for him. Tiring, too- His head lifted as the mouse approached him, brows arching just slightly. His ears had caught the faint rustle of whispering, but he had just tuned it out.. And now there was a mouse hopping up onto him, and he returned it's gaze uncertainly.. The corners of his mouth twitched upward slightly, hand lifting and reaching towards it hesitantly.. He suddenly felt nervous, that he would mess up and it would.. Change its mind or something. He always worried about things like that, but.. Animals were different.
He had been bitten by an animal once, more than one actually. And afterwards he had decided most animals hated him. He hoped this would.. Maybe be different. Even if it was.. Just an animal.

Avery grinned, and ponted to Yume, saying, "She already told you my name, but I'm Avery Dai! Everyone just calls me Avery, though." He held up the controller, and was going to show it to the man, when he saw a familiar blonde head out of the corner of his eye.
"Colette! Hi! This is... Sei! He's gonna live here, but he doesn't have any kids, and he says he likes my car!" He waved the controller about, and then pointed at the car that was still sitting behind Sei.
Avery noticed she looked a little uncertain, so he whispered to her, in that not-quite-quiet-enough way kids seem to have, "Don't worry, he's nice. I hit him in the foot, and he didn't yell." He then smiled broadly at her.

Ritsu was still sitting on the couch, waiting patiently for Rime to emerge from the bedroom. What if she needs help with the bow? I'm not good at tying the complicated ones... if I mess it up, she'll be upset..." His thoughts were running around in circles, his being alone in the room only allowing those thoughts free reign.
Finally, Rime emerged from the room. She struck a pose, and then smiled at Ritsu. "All set? We'll leave Alida and Sybil in the room, they're probably enjoying themselves." She paused a moment to envision Alida laying on her stomach on the top bunk, a small lamp illuminating the pages of John Donne. And Sybil on one of the lower bunks, carefully laying out tarot cards and divining their fortunes. The girl took them positively seriously. She shook her head, and drew back one of the kimono sleeves to reveal her digital camera.
"C'mon, kiddo. Let's go find someone willing to take pictures of us, okay? Maybe down in the lobby, or something, hm?" She held out her hand for him to take, and he did, smiling cautiously.
They made their way into the halls, and towards the elevator, Rime not wanting to risk the stairs in the confining outfits. When they reached the lobby, they both paused for a minute, not expecting there to be quite so many people. Ritsu hid beind Rime's leg, peering out from around her.
Rime waited paitiently. It was only a matter of time before their elaborate and out-of-place outfits caught someone's attention.

"Well. It's nice to meet you, Avery," Sei said, hiding his smile. Cute kid.
"He's right, I generally don't bite," he told Colette, with what might have been a slight smirk.

Colette blinked Smiling a bit she went back to her happy self "Uhm uhm i'm Colette! its nice to meet you.." her sentance slowly started getting muttered as she looked down shyly "Avery and Spiro are my best friends!" she nodded suddenlly quite proud "See, heres all of us on this puzzle i got!" she held it up, then showed avery "See what I got from santa! theres you!" she pointed happilly.
The mouse leered away almost for a moment, almost ready to run.. but when it saw how cautious the boy was being it straightened and allowed itself to be touched, even petted.
"He seems to like you too. and yea, she likes everyone.. But she likes you and.. Avery i think it was, much more." he shrugged a bit, he didn't like talking much either.. it hurt his chest. He coughed a few times before continuing ""Avery and Spiro ar emy best friends" she'll say. Then go off into some rant about how she likes me too, and try to explain it.." he chuckled a bit before coughing some more. "You know how she is.."

"Hey, cool! That's us! Wonder how Santa did that? Magic?" He poked at the box, and grinned at Colette.
Then he realized that Sei still hadn't taken his turn with the car. "Here! Your turn!" and he pressed the controller into the man's hand. "You move this to make it go forward and back, and that one makes it turn. It's easy!"

Steal Dementia took the other girl's hand and smiled again. "You are cool, how do you do that? I can't do anything but get in people's way and watch the babies. They don't even need me they just do their own thing." She sighed. "Are you an only child? Im the only girl, I got three brothers."

His hand froze in motion at the mouse's movement, and he remained there for a moment, not touching the mouse.. It seemed.. Frightened of him. A small sigh was given, and he finally dared to pet the mouse, just gently stroking two fingers down the creature's back.. He didn't respond to Yuki at first, finding there was no right or wrong answer.. His eyes fluttered to a close, head bowing forward slightly. He felt a lump growing in his throat, and swallowed a few times to no avail.. Talking like this.. And being told someone might not hate him.. It was odd. He shook his head slightly, "Hm..." He knew how she was.. Not that he understood it.

The mouse's cautions seemed to dissolve away as it stayed for the petting, moving to sit normally, and not in its previous alert position.
Yuki sat his head back against the wall, whimpering he started coughign and quickly sat up, leaning foreward to calm it.. he gripped his chest, and tried to take some deep even breaths.
After a moment he sat straight again, slowly to make sure he didn't start up again. His hand slowly loosened and fell to his lap.
Colette grinned and nodded "Yea, i guess.. santa has alot of magic!" she watched as avery tried to give Sei his car once again awestruck by everything.

Ritsu was nervous. This is all a big mistake... No one will want to take our picture, no matter how positive Rime-san is that they will...
Then Rime cleared her throat, causing him to startle, and hide behind her more.
"If I could have your attention? Hi! Some of you know me, but for those who don't, I'm Rime, and this..." she gestured to the cowering boy behind her, "is Ritsu. He got a lovely kimono for Christmas from Santa, and I thought it would be great if we could get some pictures of us both in our formal outfits. Unfortunately, Alida has shut herself up with a book, and I can't get the pictures to turn out with the timer... so I thought I would bring us both down here to find someone who can take our picture!" She smiled brightly, inside a little nervous that everyone would just continue their conversations.
She was doing this mostly for Ritsu, on the off chance that it might show him that not knowing everything, or being able to do everything could still be positive. He might gain some friends. The other reason was that she loved any excuse to get dressed up in something exotic. Formalwear she wasn't so excited over, but something completely out of the ordinary? Always.
She held up the digital camera, and waited for some sort of response, Ritsu holding the sleeves up by his face as if trying to hide behind them, as well.

"Well, all right," Sei said, and experimented with the controls a little, making the car twitch back and forth a little before driving it in a careful circle around Avery and Colette. "How's that? Fast enough?"
He looked up as someone cleared their throat, and listened to Rime's request. When she was done, he spoke up. "Well, I have my hands full at the moment, but I'd bet Yume would." He smiled at the two. "The kimonos look nice," he offered. "Santa appears to have really gone all out this year."

Ritsu blushed at Sei's comment, and hid his face even further behind his sleeves. Rime just smiled at Sei, and said, "Maa... just Ritsu's is new. I've had mine for a while." She looked around, and saw Yume standing a few feet away from Sei and the kids, and said, "Well, Yume, how about it? Care to be our photographer?" She smiled encouragingly, while at the same time, trying to convince Ritsu to quit trying to disappear in the skirt of her kimono with a gentle hand.
Avery had shook his head at Sei once had his attention again, and said, "That's too slow! It can go lots faster than that!" He had been interested in Ritsu's outfit for all of 10 seconds, and then he had dismissed it. I had way too much fabric for his tastes, and he felt that if he had to wear that much, he would probably suffocate or be crushed under it. He much preferred his cutoffs. He glanced over at Colette, figuring that she was probably admiring the dresses still, because she was a girl... and in his mind, girl's liked those sorts of things.

Spiro's expression seemed to soften somewhat, his fingers continuing to stroke themselves along the mouse's back.. His gaze wandered towards Yuki, a hint of concern visible. "Are you alright?" Hatori had mentioned that Yuki was weak because of some health conditions or something.. He didn't know. He never really listened to Hatori... He didn't like older people so much.. Freize was the closest thing to an acception.. He tenderly moved to take the mouse in hand and set it on his shoulder.
