Dominic could barely nod his head as Vanessa approached him. He mustered a smile, small as it was, and waved a nonchalant hand of ease in the air, dismissing the entire notion. He knew she hadn't meant it, even if she never said a word about it-- and they were so close too. "Don't even worry about it, I'll just need to remember to be more careful." Dom tried to reassure her, his smile widened genuinely when he realized the forlorn glaze over her eyes. Just then, the shot was made, and with rapid speed it shot to the goal and Jasmine snatched it in midair. Oxygen he didn't know he had been holding in finally released with one shaky breath. And then, the world was back in motion. Jasmine passed the quaffle to Vanessa and everyone became a blur. He grit his teeth together as he kicked off into the game and trailed after his chaser, guarding her carefully.

Ronyo had been maneuvering in and around Vanessa to help give the other team smaller windows of stealing opportunity. When Dominic had crashed into the other chaser the Slytherin captain had made a snap turn s and a skidding stop to make sure both players were ok. Before Ronyo could move to check on the two players the ref had called a penalty on Dominic for the collision. It was one of the few moments Ronyo had not being watching the actions leading up to the foul as he was working to help Vanessa move to quaffle and keep her safe.

The penalty shot had been knocked away by Jasmine as Ronyo had predicted, because so far Jasmine had been a wall in front of their rings. The Puffs would have to knock her out before they had a chance to get anything passed a girl with the determination and emotional drive to be the best. With a smile and wave to Jasmine for the save Ronyo pushed on to Vanessa as he formed up slightly ahead of her this time to be a forward buffer.

"Dom! Not quite the chaos I was looking for my friend. Stick to the formation for the next few rounds to get yourself back centered. Take up position just behind Vanessa, you got rearguard on this run."

With the quick call to action Ronyo spotted a bludger moving slightly off to the side and smiled as he moved on to it. He was still in front of Vanessa until he made a quick dip of his broom and then a sharp turn starting his drift around in a circular motion to come up right next to the bludger and give it a solid smack with his bat. The orb was sent hurtling towards Heather on this go around, as he wished to give the gold and black chaser a small breather after his collision with Dominic. Ronyo continued his drift as he moved now alongside Vanessa and then moved up to her front once again.

Ronyo moved and pushed his broom up high and climbed into the sky to gain altitude. With a spin and a twist he pulled himself into a steep dive to gain speed and momentum as he maneuvered and pulled tight to turn the oncoming bludger that came at him. The Hufflepuff beater appeared to be easily agitated by the one who fired upon her. She continued to call to her fellow teammate showing the tried and true gold and black loyalty but her own personal goal seemed to be pushing for short spans of vengeance after each orb sent her way.

The one she collided with herself sent a small quiver through Ronyo himself as he understood the pain of such a surprising blow. Seeing her regain herself put a smile on Ronyo's face as he chuckled slightly knowing this game to be far from over. With that Ronyo pulled up in his dive just before running into the ground and sent waves of dust and grass billowing out of his whack from his accumulated speed. Ronyo was aimed for a bludger that was coming in low and skipping of the ground. With a turn Ronyo put himself upside down on his broom, his long white hair actually able to skip off the ground itself. A quick pivoted and Ronyo slammed his bat into the bludger and onward towards Dhylan to keep him away from Vanessa. Ronyo would need to return to formation after his absence and bring more difficulty to the opposing teams chasers.
