There was a wiggle and she was hopeful! Til it sunk deeper in.
Hmph. She removed her hands rubbed them together and clasped the hilt again and tugged once more. At least she was determined and even more stubborn than the blade or so she fancied. She wasn't going to let it get the better of her until it either hurt her seriously or she was pulled away to go else where.

Cat edged closer.
Closer.
Suddenly, he stuck his face as close as he could to the patchwork without outright headbutting him, piercing white eyes examining the stitches he had pointed out intently.
"Curious," He beamed, "Utterly fascinating! Could you speak if someone was to...pull those out~?"

Kres - There was another wiggle this time around! This time it seemed that the sword had actually loosened a bit as well.

He shook his head more violently this time, mismatched eyes wide. The glowing orbs up against his face at least weren't as terrifying if they had been red...
As though trying to find an excuse to keep the cat-boil off of him, the hunchback quickly scribbled out in messy chalk-smudged writing:
Not allowed. Any fitness questions?
Sweat was running down his seams.

"K-keep it?" she echoed, looking at Jericho incredulously. How was she going to bring this thing around? She knew it was a minipet--now that she looked at it more slowly, she felt as it it was laughing at her and her dilemma--but a sword couldn't walk or anything, could it? Which meant that she would have to carry or drag it around somehow.
She was promptly snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Lizzy call her name, rush forward and--to her horror--almost get sliced by the blade. "Lizzy! Aah, I'm sorry, I'm sorry! Are you okay?!" She looked as if her panicking was about to escalate when she heard the other demon speak again.
Freezing obediently on the spot, she wobbled slightly as she tried to lower the sword's point towards the ground. It was a slow process--or rather, Xiu was being very, very careful--but once the sword point touched the ground, she felt her muscles sigh with relief as they were finally able to relax.
"That was an interesting game," she breathed, looking at the others with wide eyes, "But I didn't think I would actually pull it out."

Okay this time it seemed a bit better since it wiggled to where it shifted outwards and more toward her and it seemed loose! She could wiggle it about in the foundation but it still wasn't out and thus she hadn't 'won' yet. She wanted to 'win'. She liked winning. It felt nice.
Kreszentia kept at it despite her prior luck.

Kres - The sword jiggled as though it was suddenly made of rubber. It refused to be pulled out of the stone, however. But it was fun to wiggle it!

Cat didn't move his face an inch back, following the boil backing away step-for-step.
"Not allowed? Not - a - loud?? Why ever not?" He blatanly ignored Chris' plea for more relevant questions, barely attempting to conceal the joy in his voice.
Oh this was good. Good!

Wigglewiggle.
Wiggle.
Wiggle. Wiggle.
She'd almost forgotten just why she was sitting here doing with the damn sword as it seemed to wiggle and entertain her. Quickly she snapped out of it and gave a determined pull.
It would come out and she would be an awesome warrior and ...Wait where did that thought come from?
Oh well. She kept pulling.

Kres - The jiggling didn't stop, though the sword was now hard to the touch again. This was, perhaps, because the sword was laughing at Kres's pathetic attempts to pull it out of the stone.

The Igor's eyes darted to the side still wide, but carefully considering his answer. Finally, writing still shaky, he wrote out:
Not my inform. to indulge.
Honestly? He didn't know beyond What Master Says Goes. It was all.. hazy. But he wasn't about to confess that to a perfect stranger. That was probably why they were stitched to begin with.

She didn't even have to touch it now when she let go from her latest attempt, it was jiggling and wiggling on its own accord. Oh ha-ha mister sword.
Kreszentia frowned down at it a moment before she grasped or at least tried to grasp the hilt again so she could give it a mighty pull. She would show it who was boss.

Riley reached out and patted Kallos' hand gently, trying to reassure him. Relax.. you're in good hands. You're so tense, I can feel it from here. I'm not going to hurt you. I know that what you've read will have assured you otherwise, but this school would not have enrolled me if I was a danger to their students. Her words were smooth as silk, almost touchable as they penetrated the mind and affected the senses.
I have not eaten a single student in my entire time here, and I intent to continue that tradition. She lied. (After all, Calder was always on the menu.)
A deep, throaty chuckle left her as Kallos answered her question with 'all of it'. So, everything he'd read, was deep in that mind of his. How delicious. It was a shame there was so much knowledge waiting to be experienced, that books could never have afforded him. She knew he likely had no idea just how much he was missing, even with all of that knowledge buried inside.
She had only learned this lesson recently, herself.
Kallos. She whispered. I will tell you a secret. I remember everything, as well. I do not eat information, as you do - well.. She tried not to chuckle this time. I do not eat the information itself. Where it is contained.. perhaps. But all of the information of every member of my species resides.. She tapped her forehead. Right here. You and I, we are alike in a sense. Perhaps it will soothe you to know of our connection, mmm?
She stood up suddenly, grazing her hands across his forehead.
Or perhaps you just need time to be reassured that I am not here to eat you.
Yet.
Either way, I believe it is time to play some games. Sit, relax at my booth. You are my guest, for now.

Kres - The sword was so busy laughing at the attempts, that it accidentally let Kres pull it out of the stone.
Oh, it had nothing to laugh about then.
Congratulations!

There was a sudden shift a tug and suddenly it was out. Kreszentia stumbled backward one steps and then two steps before she managed to stop her momentum. She swayed lightly but she grinned proudly. Sure she didn't get it on the first try but she got it. She showed it who was boss and now she was going to keep it and make it be her slave forever.
...Or something.
Either way she wasn't going to let it go any time soon and that is all that mattered. The tip of the blade rested on the ground because that was all she could bring herself to do rather than holding it over her head. "Ta-da," she gasped a bit after she straightened out her stance.
"Vas good game," she said cheerfully. It was challenging but not too challenging. A nice way to loosen joints that needed to be made loose, assuming it didn't come out at the first time. She looked over at Lizzy and Xiu, "Z'orry if I am keeping you vaiting."
