"Here...let me." she said harshly as she got up and set up the rest of the things up, the buckets and the sake cups.
Lifting her hands, she quickly put water into the two buckets next to her feet.
"Now..take the sake cups, go up..fill them, come down, and dump them into the buckets by your hands. "
Sitting back down across from Lauren, Imogen gave a devilish smile. "Now...try to be a dear and not throw up..this heat would make it
the most....undesirable situation."

Darion quickly ran to the water, striping as he did. As Darion reached the water he was in nothing but his boxer shorts."Finally time to start my training!"Darion said ashe sat down about neck deep in the chilling water. Darion swam to what looked like a stream rushing down into the ocean and sat there as he let his Ki flow out of his body.2/10

Jack entered the beach and viewed his surroundings. Only a few people were there not including Jack and Darion. The water seemed crystal clear, the waves calm, and the seagulls cawing away. The wind definitely seemed slightly stronger here, but it was to the point where it was still comfortable and welcome. Shops and vendors lined the sands, just in case the visitors were hungry. Yes, to Jack, this seemed like a good place to start training, Darion definitely had the same idea as he immediately began his regiment..Jack thought he better do the same.
(1/7) Placing himself a few yards away from Darion, Jack recalled the next move in the book. It was called Lighter. A very interesting technique in which the user vertically unsheathes the blade, immediately cutting the opponent not even before the blade comes completely out of its holster. At that point, he could sheathe it back, slashing downwards. In a way, it was alot like the move Sleeves.
With that mind set, Jack took off his pack and got into his sword stance. He stepped forward, bringing his sheathe up, unsheathing the sword in the process, striking the imaginary foe, and before it came completely out of its sheathe, Jack sheathed the sword downward in a downwards vertical slash. He did it, but it wasn't flawless. This particular move seemed alot more complicated than the others, and it required his attention.
(2/7) Jack was having a bit of a problem with controlling his strength. Maybe the problem could be contributed to the fact that the blade he was using wasn't a katana, but either way he still had to master this move, katana or not. What he was having difficulty with was making it to where the blade didn't leave so far away from its sheathe so that he could easily re-sheathe its for its second attack. Jack tried again but ultimately failed. It was alright though, at first you don't succeed right?
(3/7) Jack repeated the actions again. He was close this time, but the when he went to resheathe the blade it bounced off the sheathe. Jack grimaced, but it not like it was the first time he failed at something. He would keep trying.
(4/7) He got it this time. Jack smiled as brought the sword back down after the vertical strike. Smoothly it went back into his sheathe, and at a good speed to, to where if the opponent was caught in its range, they would technically be cut deeply roughly two times.
(5/7) Jack this time tried something different, this time he let his strength be in control. As he repeated the first step,the vertical strike, instead of stopping of and making a sheathing motion while slashing the opponent at the same time, Jack continued to bring the sword up and out of its sheathe in a full and quite forceful slash. Jack began to like this technique, it allowed him two other options in combat.
(6/7) Jack turned to drills now as he just repeatedly made the same actions over and over again, making sure that such a complicated technique did not leave his mind, lest he become rusty like some fools he had met that used a sword.
(7/7) He repeated the action one last time. He was confident that he learned the skill completely. With that, he exhaled, sheathed his rapier once more, and began breathing exercises to keep his energy, his body in check. He would need it much more this day, as he still had alot he was planning on learning.

As Darion focused his Ki out of his body he would begin trying to remember the feeling of his Ki traveling out of his body and in another direction,this was key to the training. After he had fully remembered how to push his Ki outward he would being freezing it at a slow pace until he was comfortable 3/10
Darion closed his eyes and began to start freezing his Ki as it flowed in the rushing water.Slowly but surely he would freeze it as the ki traveled. The ice would start tacking form a couple of inches away form his body and stay a float in one place as it began to spread down the rushing stream of water. 4/10
The ice slowly began to freeze as it it the rate of freezing began to hasten almost as if Darion was beginning to feel comfortable with the Ki leaving his body and him being able to freeze it. Darin would continue this process until it began to feel normal to him. 5/10
The ki that was flowing down the stream began to freeze at a quicker rate each minute it was being practiced almost as if it was already simple to Darion. In his old school, Darion picked up on things faster then most of the other kids and aced everything he was taught on the first day. This was proof of that ability.6/10
Darion's ice began to grow faster then it began, he was quickly speeding up the freezing process because he was comfortable with the feeling of freezing his Ki that was leaving his body, this seemed relatively easy when he thought about it. Why wasn't this taught in the beginning of the training, it would have saved more time during the training. 7/10
Darion ice was freezing at his normal rate, spikes began to start appearing on little patched of the surface of the water, The training was going by quickly and safely, Darion opened his eyes to see his own doing at work.8/10
Darion watched as the ice began forming on the surface of the water almost instantly, Darion stood up as he watched the ice form on the water.He would now test his teachings with out it. The stage mentioned he could do it with out water, It was time to see if he could do it.

Darion looked ahead and watched as a ball of ice formed almost instantly in front of him,He he caught it in his hand. It was smooth and cold. Darion dropped it in the water and stepped out of the stream. Darion cracked his back as he made for his Jacket to grab the book.

Darion looked at the book and read the first skill there was. It seemed deadly, Darion liked the thought of it.He read up the details of learning the skill and studied it closely. Not many people knew this but there was lots you could learn my reading something over and over again. 1/5
Darion knelt down and placed his hand on the ground and began to release his Ki into the ground letting it travel in one direction, As it did Darion would wait until it reached what the book said was it's maximum distance so he could freeze it.2/5
Darion waited until the ki reached 15ft and made it spike up as his did ice spikes would stab out of the ground, reaching at total of 7-8ft tall, Darion grinned as this could be used quite frequently. This however was Darion's test run.3/5
Darion did a back flip distancing himself from his last area. during his back-flip he would transfer his ki into the ground when his hand reached the ground to push him into his back-flip. As he did the would make the spikes appear 15ft away from him once again. This was a very useful technique 4/5
Darion grinned as he watched the spikes from the distance, He would use this as a combo if he ever needed to.This that Darion slapped the dirt off his hands and looked at the book once more.5/5

(1/7)Once his body was calm, his heart at a steady beat, Jack began the next technique. This next one was called, Blind Side. A relatively simple, but very useful and deadly attack if executed properly. It is used for when someone attacks from the rear. The user would step backwards towards the assailant, turning in the process, using the momentum from the turn to unsheathe the sword, and strike with deadly force and velocity, and then when the opponent is caught off guard, the user would jump make a downwards slash. Jack was recognizing a trend here at this point, each of these attacks followed up with another...as if it was chaining into a deadly dance of epic proportions.
Jack began, his stance ready, he visualized within his minds eye an unseen attacker coming up from behid...quickly he stepped back, turned around, drew the blade...and...fell down on his face.
(2/7) Well that was pretty embarrassing, quickly he got up and tried again, not letting his failure affect his attempt. He stepped back, turned, was about to draw and then...he fell again.
(3/7) Jack growled at himself before getting up. "I ain't falling down again", he promised himself. He repeated the same manoeuvre but this time he didn't fall down...he stumbled..but he didn't fall. He was starting to get the balance right, Jack was improving. It wouldn't be long now.
(4/7) Jack repeated it again, this time he kept his balance, which meant he successfully turned backwards, slashing mid waist. Quickly, atttempting to follow up his attack, he jumped forwards, attempting to slash down at his invisible adversary, but he didn't slash fast enough as he hit the ground.
(5/7) Alright, now Jack's problem was speed. He repeated it again, this time able to get a slash downwards. He corrected himself by slashing as soon as jumped, that way the slash would beat the jump before he hit the ground. The move was successful, and now all that was required was repetition.
(6/7) It was back to the drill phase with Jack again. He repeated the skill over and over again. Sweat starting to appear on his forehead, his breathing getting heavy as he soon realized he would be needing water soon. These techniques required alot of physical effort, but yet he pushed on..he would push on to the point of exhaustion if necessary.
(7/7) Finally he did the move one last time, and as soon as he did that, Jack dropped the rapier, the end of the blade digging itself in the sand as he dropped to the sand indian style, breathing heavily. As soon as he got himself under control, he determined he would get a drink of water before he would continue.

Darion looked at the next skill, It seemed the overall simplest of abilities, being able to freeze water into a puddle at a distance or make ice appear on the spot. Simple. Darion looked at a puddle by the beach and focused his Ki into it and froze it almost instantly. This was a skill he could have learned at stage one.1/5
Darion looked at a dry patch on the ground and focused his Ki into it and froze it, It took longer then the water and more Ki but it was still overall simple. Why was it under the stage two department. 2/5
Darion looked back at the water and froze it almost instantly. Darion sighed, he had to practice moving his Ki anyways, so why not learn it with such a simple skill.3/5
Darion began freezing multiple stops of dry ground, It was good practice was it was getting old fast.4/5
Darion froze one more patch of land before continuing his training. He walked over to the book and began reading once again. 5/5

(1/7) After Jack got a drink of water, he resumed training. The next one was a move he was particular excited about learning. It was called Dual Trap, a move where one could fight against two people coming at him from opposite sides. It required him to step backwards thrusting the sheathe backwards, but drawing the blade forwards, using its momentum to hit the opponent in front of him, and then hit the opponent at the back of him.
Jack attempted to imitate the move but was met with sloppy results. Grimacing he tried again.
(2/7) He tried again but failed. He was having issues with the fact that the he needed to twist around with the sword and strike at the opponent behind him. Something seemed missing here.
(3/7) It was close, but no cigar. Jack stumbled as the weight of the rapier cause him to fumble a bit. He wasn't getting frustrated, just slightly impatient. A rapier was beginning to make a fool out of him.
(4/7) This time Jack was able to do it flawlessly. He struck the sheathe backwards, drew the sword forwards, carried it over his head, pivoted his body in a 360 degree angle, and struck from there. Something seemed missing though, and Jack figured out what it was.
(5/7) Jack repeated the skill again but this time with his own modification. When he struck forward, and then struck backwards after the body pivot, Jack did a backwards thrust with the scabbard, just to make sure the guy attacking him from the front was down for the count.
(6/7) Back to the dirlls again, it was a boring part of training, but it was necessary. Practice makes perfet.
(7/7) Practice did make perfect as he successfully executed the Dual Trap skill. He was glad how much progress he was making this day. Usually he would never be able to learn this much due to limitations and such.

Darion read the book, He was now moving up to the more difficult skills. Ice Needle Barrage, seems handy. Darion studied until he learned all he could.1/10
Darion put his hand out towards him and quickly sent out waves of his ki in thin needles and began freezing them as they quickly flew along, Freezing his fast moving ki would take some practice.He wasn't freezing much at this rate only three or four needled were showing up. 2/10
Darion began focusing his freezing ability to freeze more needleds of ice, unfortunately it wasn't giving him much, He would have to freeze one needle after another if he wanted to learn this skill properly.3/10
Darion put his hand down and stopped the flow of Ki, He then brought it back up and began freezing one ice needle after the other, It was easy for him this way but he would then soon start to double the amount of needles he would make.4/10
Darion began making his ki start two needles appearing after the other, it was simple enough but each time he would double his needle output the more difficult it would get.5/10
Darion would begin making four needles being shot out at a constant, this was slightly difficult to maintain but after awhile he grew comfortable with it. He was learning this fast, but it was suppose to be a barrage of needles not a group of them. Darion would need to increase the number he sent out.6/10
Darion had started making a set of six needles fly out of his hand.It was getting more difficult to maintain the increases of needles being sent out with each increase. after a moment of this practice Darion would send out the six needle barrage easily. It was time to move on.7/10
Darion then made eight needles shoot out, This was very difficult to keep up, it took Darion moments until he mastered this number of needles. This still wasn't large enough for him, he wanted a mass barrage of needles and he wouldn't rest until he obtained that limit.8/10
Darion upped his needle output to twelve needles, This was the most difficult thing Darion had to do since he got on the island, not even the level up test was as difficult as this. Darion took awhile to get steady with the Darion did master it thought and was finally done with the skill.9/10
Darion layed down and sighed, he pushed himself too much that time. 10/10

(1/7) Jack's next move to learn was called Ashes. It required him to slash upwards diagonally, allow the momentum to carry him, twist around, and repeat the slash except this time downwards. Jack attemtped the move but couldn't get enough momentum going.
(2/7) Jack second attempt was met with much success either. As he swung he resisted the twist. He was failing not because of himself, but maybe because the rapier was to light.
(3/7) Jack third attempt was met with a small amount of modest success. He slashed upwards at the invisible target, allowing himself to twist around. He slashed hard enough to where it definitely had the power to carry him, the problem however is tha the slashed to hard and he overshot the target.
(4/7) The fourth attempt was much different from the last. It was the same results except this time Jack was finally starting to get a feel for it.
(5/7) Jack perfected it this time as he slashed, twisted, and slashed again in a quick succession of impressive swordplay. He tried it again just to make sure it wasn't a fluke and lo and behold, it worked again.
(6/7) Drill time! Over and over he slashed his way through the air fighting off invisible armies of countless horrors. His blade whipped through the air seamlessly.
(7/7) Once more he tried before sheathing his sword, catching his breath once more. But he couldn't stop now, no, there was one more technique he had to try.

(1/7) It took awhile for Jack to remember but this next move was called Erase. It was an evasive offensive skill which required the user to somersault over his opponent while unsheathing his sword and slash downwards. It was slightly complicated, especially for someone like Jack to pull off. He was pretty acrobatic himself, and he could certainly do flips, but he was no...monkey. Despite this, Jack attempted to do it. He jumped, somersaulted, and fell on his face.
(2/7) Jack tried again, he somersaulted. Everything seemed to be going fine at this point, except for the fact that he somersaulted to late and he landed flat on his back. He really needed to work on those flips.
(3/7) Jack tried it again. This time with a bit more success. He completed the somersault but he didn't have enough time to twist around in the air, to where he was facing his opponents back, much less draw the sword.
(4/7) Again and again and again he tried until he finally got the twist right. Still the pulling out the sword in mid air part kept throwing Jack off. He jumped, somersaulted, twisted in the air, and landed on his feet...the sword still in its sheath.
(5/7) Jack fifth attempt was met with much success. He successfully completed the manoeuvre. The trick was to start unsheathing his sword before he even began to jump and twist. So once somersaulted, he twisted in the air, and slashed downwards as he landed.
(6/7) Drills drills drills. A necessary evil when practising with swords. Jack would seem kind of funny to people around the area, with him jumping around like that.
(7/7) Jack tried one more time and succeeded. The first part of the chapter was completed, and he couldn't learn anymore until he became a higher level. But since he was level 2, that meant that he could go back to the library, and pick up something different. More training? More power? Jack answered to himself, yes please.
But before he did anything, took off his shirt, revealing various scars, and a finely toned body. He set his belongings down, even as far as unbelting his sword. Going to where the waves met the beach, Jack layed down in the shallow water, closing his eyes, resting for a little while before his traininng would resume.

Darion got up of the ground and took his book out. He read the next skill and smiled, this as a potentiality dangerous skill.He stood up and began reading it over. This would take multiple read overs to perfect it.1/10
Darion understood the one part of making the ice hover hover his hand that was simple but it was the last dangerous part that was confusing to him. He studied it continuously until he pin pointed what he had to do.2/10
Darion closed the book and smiled, he had figured out what he had to do. Darion tucked away his book and held his hands out and four icicles on each hand began to form like claws. Darion walked up to a tree to test them out, he slashed it and the ice broke half way into the cut. Improvements would be needed for this section. 3/10
Darion remade the ice but this time it was more thick and sharp, making it more durable and deadly. Darion slashed the tree and grinned as the ice claws were in perfect condition. Darion pointed his left hand at a patch of sand and fired the ice claws at it. They hit with pinpoint accuracy, but did not explode outward. Darion would have to focus more on this point.4/10
Darion lifted his right hand towards another grassy patch and fired another set of ice claws. Darion focused on the Ki inside the ice to spike outward and freeze, when he did it the ice instantly spiked outwards, in all directions. This was truly a destructive ability to have .5/10
Darion felt like the spikes could be longer and sharper though. Darion made more icicles appear above his hands and began slashing at the tree again to see how many hits they could deliver .6/10
After several hits they finally broke, although this was a stupid test dude to the fact he wouldn't be fighting trees with it. Darion walked away form the tree and fired his claws at it and almost instantly they spike outwards in all directions.This was a wonderful skill to have. Darion smiled as he thought of what he could get in the future.7/10
Darion made more claws appear on both of his hands. He left like a frosty wolverine. Darion began to stab the tree then jump back to shoot the claws at it, almost instantly it spiked outwards leaving indents into the tree. Darion began to get the hang of the skill he would practice is a couple more times before checking with Jack.8/10
Darion began to stab the tree then jump back to shoot the claws at it, almost instantly it spiked outwards leaving indents into the tree The tree then feel over due to the balance difference on both sides. Darion shook his hand to get rid of any pain he had from swinging his hands around and walked towards his clothes. Darion would pick up his clothes and sigh.9/10
Darion walked towards Jack and smiled."Are you done with your training?" Darion said as he stretched his body out before heading back.Maybe now he could win in a couple one on one fights. Darion sighed as he felt relief from the stretch. 10/10

While laying in the water, Jack turned his head as Darion approached. It had been about an hour since he layed down in the soothing waves...he actually almost fell asleep until Darion spoke. So looking around, his attention turned towards the sky as the sun began to dim....the night was approaching, and Jack was exhausted. Getting up, Jack stretched saying, "Ya...got alot of training done today. Need to recover energy for training tomorrow....". Jack gestured back towards the hiking trail. "Lets go home", and with that Jack exited the beach, unknowing of the surprise that awaited him. ((EXIT))
