"He's got a point. Anyways do you have any other questions?" Kana asked. Chi-chi shook her head. "Well if you have any you can ask me any time." Kana told her before glancing at Kaito. "Okay I'm going to get a brownie." Chi-chi skipped downstairs.

"She just made that entire conversation creepier than it had to be," Kaitou muttered to himself as he stood up and began walking downstairs.

Kana soon followed Kaitou downstairs. She was glad that conversation is over.

"Please say something. Anything. This is just running down a path of complete awkward-to-be-in-the-same-room-as-you. If it continues down that path, I'm gonna go insane," Kaitou sighed as he stopped walking.

Kana stooped and looked up at him. "Don't worry, I'm not staying in the same room as you. I'm just going in the kitchen and getting one of Chi-chi's brownies." She replied before walking past him.

"Thank you for saying something. Things just became less awkward," Kaitou sighed lightly as he watched her walk past before following behind her into the kitchen. He stacked three brownies on top of each other and left the kitchen with them. Rath was sitting on the counter eating one already.

"Your welcome, stalker." She said with a smirk as she continued to walk to the kitchen. She grabbed a brownie and began to eat it without a word to Rath.

"I was hungry and I deserve these brownies after the Hell I've been through for the past two days," Kaitou retorted from the living room before the stereo began playing Skillet's song Monster.
"So how'd the talk go?" Rath asked with a light smile although his eyes told a completely different story. He took a bite out of the brownie in his hand as he kept gaze downcast.

"I'm kidding..You deserve a lot for what happened these past 2 days." She replied before taking a bite of the brownie. She looked at Rath. "Well..It went fine till she started to ask questions both Kaitou and myself didn't expect her to ask nor want to answer the question."

"Ah. So she asked for a demonstration. I'd offer to explain in more detail, but... There're some issues with my knowledge of that subject," Rath murmured around the brownie as he continued chewing. "I blame dad for my intellect being so butchered... Or perhaps I was the one to blame for being such a weak child..."

Kana nodded but then frowned lightly. "Listen to me.. I know I didn't know you when you were a kid but don't blame yourself for that. Our father..Is a cruel heartless b*****d. He thinks everyone is weak.. To live up to his expectations is impossible."

"That's sweet of you to say something that'll make me feel less worthless than I normally feel about myself," Rath smiled lightly as he shoved the rest of his brownie in his mouth. "I always thought of myself as weak ever since I was little due to the constant verbal and physical abuse. Then Nana and Mimi only had me to look towards so I had to put on a tough front to keep them from breaking down like I did in the hallway."

"Maybe not around you, but Nana still expects me to act as if very little phases me. I also wouldn't be too happy seeing Chi becoming something that Dagon would barely approve of. That would make me sad seeing Chi get hurt," Rath murmured sliding off the counter and lightly hugging Kana. "I'm sorry for the way I first acted when you two got here. I was seeing if dad had phased you two. I'm glad he didn't succeed in turning you two into an enemy. I will say that if you hurt Kaitou, I will get mad. He's the little brother I never had and he hasn't been tainted by dad except for the past few days."

"I can talk to Nana if you would like. I know what you mean.. I've been trying to keep Chi-chi away from Dagon so much. Chi-chi was affected by Dagon but I always took the bulk of it." She explained before hugging Rath and rubbing his back lightly. "It's alright..I'm sorry for the way I acted as well. I understand. For the record, I won't ever hurt Kaitou intentionally. Though I feel I have by lying to him. I feel so awkward around him because of it." She said with a small frown.
