"You want to listen to me ramble about okiya life and the rudeness of others?" She laughed lightly, "Do you really want to listen that?" Iy-chan tried to make light of the situation that skewed the other day from her kin.
"Are the horses out?" She asked softly, glancing out into the meadows.

She was taken aback about his insistence on listening to her, to help her feel at ease. She glanced over to him once more with question forming on her lips, but she held her tongue.
"Do you want to go for a ride?" She smiled to him, still not sure if she wanted to reveal to him the problems that arose the other day.

I could sence that didn't want to talk. "That's alright." I thought. "It's none of my concern anyway." I smile gently and say in responce to her question. Hai let's ride. I put my fingers to lips and let loose a shrill whistle. I looked over to the fence and saw Raku, Toto, Gigi trotting toward the fence. I walk over to them and pat each of them on their noses then their necks.

Iyasu walked over to the horses, particularly Raku and gave him a gentle pat on the neck, allowing the stallion to remember her again. Her smile broadened as Raku nuzzled into her some, remembering her from past visits and generous carrots.
"Kibakichi-san?" She asked with her huge smile, "May I ask you a question?"

Sure. I say as I absently minding avoided Gigi has she tried to bite me agian. Toto nuzzled my shoulder wanting some attention.

Iyasu gave Raku a final pat on the neck, letting him go into the field. She quietly walked over to Kibakichi and placed a hand onto his shoulder.
"May I ask you one more question?" She asked softly.

I hestiate as she put her hand on my shoulder and asked me in a soft voice. I nod slowly a little worried at what the question might be.

She could sense, lightly, his uneasiness as she spoke to him. She gently removed the hand from his shoulder and walked to the front of him. The geisha placed a hand on the horse's neck, so Toto would know where she was.
"Please, answer me honestly . . ." Iyasu paused for a moment, "If I sound like a child, I do not mean to. . . I'm just wondering, if you might have missed me as much as I have missed you . . ."
She made eye contact with him, her eyes were warm and calm.

Her eyes widened mildly, as she looked down harshly feeling her cheeks flourish with pale crimson vessels.
"Nn . . ." She feels herself becoming weak in the knees, but she kept her ground. Iyasu did not hesitate for a minute about her meaning. Although, she did feel a bit foolish for asking that question, but the deed was done. Why should she be upset about something that she can, now, not take back.
"I mean, since I was away for a little while . . . and this is the first time I've been able to see you and the same for you . . ." Iy-chan gently lifted her head to look up, unsure if the pink haze still caressed her cheeks. Her hazel eyes, kissed with a soft honey hue, she kept her gaze focused on Toto. "Well, although it was a short time . . . I'm sorry. I'm babbling . . ."
She shook her head and looked down again, the vessels in her cheeks dilating as embarrassment finally closed its grasp around her emotions.

Noticing her mild embarrassment, I placed my right hand underneath her chin, and gently lifted her head up and said gently. Don't worry about it, let's saddle up the horses and go for that ride. I smile brightly.Okay?

Her head moved upward by a gentle touch under her chin. Kibakichi consoled her as best as he could. Iy-chan's lips curled into a smile for him, "All right."
Her eyes said differently behind the false happiness. She needed to confess so much, however something seemed to hold her back. Desperately she wanted to snuggle into him, however with the embarrassing feat that just took place, it would not seem to be a good idea.
