Alpha - Am I doing it right?
User ImageEli nodded to Evelyn telling him to watch the use of his powers. She was right, it'd be best if he made sure they were kept in check by not using them. But, what should he do in the mean time?

As she floated her way over on the pink inflatable device he paddled up to her raft and rested on it as she continued to speak about how she was tired.

He blushed a bit as she winked at him and he leaned in and kissed her cheek. Was he doing it right?

Pulling back he swam his way out of the pool, "Sweet Dreams Eve." He said giving an off handed wave.

Omega: Catalina - Fade to Black - This KillJoy Stuff Works!

User Image
Kerrigan was quickly finding that she liked making Jack grin. She liked the thought that came with saying things that kept his interest in her, that kept his attention solely on her. What she was finding out more than anything else was that urges, even though she technically wasn't a teenager anymore, were hard things to ignore. It would be a lie to say that she had never felt urges towards someone before -- shoot, she was human -- but they had never been this strong, never this acute. Self restraint was becoming harder and harder by the minute, especially when he kept her body so closely nestled into his. His touch, his smell -- it was all intoxicating to her, and the mere thought of depriving herself of that fix was just more than she could bear. His kisses made her head spin, though she almost felt like it was spinning no matter what was going on around her at the moment, but who had time to think such thoughts when she was making out with a hot guy on the beach. Wasn't that pretty much every girl's dream at one point or another? Even as his grip released her, only by a little bit, she felt the need to cling to him, to feel him next to her. The Kerrigan not tripping on Killjoy might be disgusted with herself right now, if it weren't for the sculpted, shirtless slightly damp Jack that now had his arm about her waist, walking down the beach together.

It would have taken weeks for regular, non-drug-induced Kerri to do this.

"I think dessert can be arranged," she said with a soft wink as the two continued down the beach towards the condo. Her arm slid around his waist as well, the coolness of his body soothing as he felt like her blood was pumping wildly throughout her whole body, making her warm. There were too many thoughts flashing through her head to really explain what she was expecting for the afternoon, ideas where this whole day could go, that it really felt like her feet were moving of their own accord with him, head in the clouds.

All too soon, the pair were back at the condo, where it seemed others were regrouping from some sort of disaster, confrontation. She vaguely remembered something like that herself, but now all her thoughts were on getting upstairs, eliminating the threat that someone or something else would catch his eye before she could keep him to herself. Sure, it was probably an irrational fear, an obsessive thought that the normal her might be embarrassed to admit, but her thought process was rapid, not necessarily taking everything into account.

Her steps followed him back to her room, the redhead momentarily looking around for Cissa a habit that even a drugged Kerri couldn't seem to break. However, unlike her normal self, it didn't seem to bother her too much that she couldn't immediately locate the blonde. It was Jack ascending the stairs that brought her thoughts back completely to him, the redhead slipping into her room after him, rather glad to be back inside after Hiking, cliff jumping, running, swimming, giving him mouth to mouth and then having to walk all the way back to the condo from the far side of the beach. Wow, that was one heck of a morning.

Moving over to the mirror, her hair was gritty with sand and salt water, sand caked to her legs in some places, and even smeared across her back. If the redhead ever looked more like an amazon, she couldn't really remember. However, her attention was really on Jack's reflection, watching as he scarfed down two more of the meals he had brought with him. She grinned, placing her hands on her exposed hips as she turned to look at him. Her eyebrows raised as he said he needed a shower, the redhead tilting her head ever so slightly to the side as he turned and headed into her bathroom, the sound of the water turning on bringing a soft shade of pink to her cheeks. Biting down on her lower lip as his voice came from the bathroom, explaining that he didn't want to have to go all the way back down to his room, which made sense, the redhead released a loud "uh-huh" in response, at least to show that she was listening.

There is a naked Jack in her shower. Jesus Christ, there is a naked Jack in her shower.

Kerrigan, without necessarily thinking, slipped her shorts off as she made her way into the bathroom, the redhead grinning slightly as she tossed them to the side, clearing her throat to let him know that she was in the room. Her bikini-clad form moved over to the shower, peeking around the curtain with a grin. Her eyes never left his face as her head tilted to the side innocently.

"Room for one more?"

Red hair sprawled across the pillows as Kerrigan and Jack laid in bed. Her covered were rumpled, wrapped around her expose leg, damp hair from the shower drying in their natural curls as she could only grin at him. Absentmindedly, she twirled the end of a tendril of hair around her fingers, head resting against his shoulder with a satisfied sigh.

"Well, guess that takes care of the bed part of that brilliant plan we hatched on the beach," she said with a laugh, rolling over to plant a soft kiss on his lips. Everything seemed…surreal. The room brighter, the wind coming through the open window sweeter, the thought of food more enticing than she could remember. Her body nestled against his under the covers, nose brushing against his cheek before planting a kiss and pulling back.

"I'll take care of the lunch part. Be right back," she spoke softly, her lips brushing against his ear before rolling away from him, out of bed. Her steps were light across the floor as she crossed to the dresser, throwing on a slightly oversized white shirt and a pair of jeans. Messing her fingers through her curls to put them in some form of order, and doing a relatively poor job, she leaned back against the dresser, her gaze falling softly on the giant in her bed.

"Well, any requests?"

Omega-WAIT UP! User Image

AHA! It was a victory for Antonio, though Shandra Tried her hardest to show otherwise, she was truly attracted to the Hispanic. Why else would she return the kiss with such passion, she was even running her hands through his glorious locks of hair. Take that strange new man who tried to steal her away. Shandra was his now, and he was man enough to keep her, so there.

Her hands wandered down his body, settling on his stomach where they began to rub gently. He closed his eyes and smiled it felt really good and he had no idea why. If he was a cat he would probably start purring right now. Could people purr? And if they could, would Shandra like him more if he purred or less? Unfortunately this was the only thought process going through Antonio's mind as Shandra led him to the kitchen. Then again Antonio was not known for his intelligence, not that he was dumb mind you.

Oh god that is a gun. For a moment Antonio sobered up. From a young age he was taught to avoid guns. Gravity was a counter to many projectiles, but bullets were an expectation, the moved to damn fast. Why on earth would someone have a gun here. Well Karri had guns, but she was responsible. This was probably the same person who fired a gun earlier, no doubt that burn mark was from the one and only Cissa. Serves the girl right for shooting bullets at what ever she was. Those things hurt really, really bad.

The people started talking, but that was not important at the moment. The infidel who was accosting Shandra earlier was in the room too. Antonio puffed his chest out, that's right Shandra was his. If the punk wanted to try to take her, he was free to try, as long as he did not cry to hard when he failed. There was some arguing going on around him, something about Maddy being the next Alcoholic Alpha, but none of that was important, Aren needed to know that Shandra was off limits unless he wanted to have a personal visit with a black whole. Antonio could set that up, it would be fun, except the whole destroying the world part.

It took him a minute to realize that the spot next to him was empty. Shandra had ran from the room, no one accosted her this time, so what offended her so? He needed to follow her, but he could not just run from the group, it was expected of him to impart some wisdom onto the group. "Um spread love not war... breakfast is the most important meal of the day… don't do anything I wouldn't do." There, that should cover his bases, now to chase after his red head. He dashed from the room , following Shandra. "Roja wait. What's wrong?"

User ImageAlpha: Heading to the kitchen.

Molly had stood in the silent parlor for a minute or two before venturing deeper into the condo. Since it appeared that the spider infestation had all been a figment of her imagination she was most likely starting to lose her mind. For some reason that didn’t bother her as much as it should have nor did the here and suddenly gone spiders raise any red flags. Something should have bothered her but it didn’t. So on that note she passed through the condo pausing to look at the cat lazing in her arms. ”I’ll bet you’re hungry...now just what am I going to feed you?” She was almost sure they hadn’t stocked cat food in this place so she might have to settle for tuna.

Entering the kitchen she was not surprised to see that it was a hotbed of activity. In fact one of the Omega’s (Shandra had nearly run her down on her way out of the kitchen. The girl had gone by Molly before she could inquire if she was alright. So she entered the kitchen with a little more caution wanting to avoid another near collision if she could help it. She was a little surprised to see that Maddy was all wet, Narcissa looked like her usual imperial majesty and Blair looked like she had been staring down a chimney. There were others in the kitchen but those people really stood out from the rest. ”I believe that we’ve walked in late to this one...” She said frowning at the odd situation. She made no other comment about what she had seen or heard.

Instead she focused on the task at hand which was feeding her cat and then feeding herself. Feeling unusually generous Molly set the car, whom would need a name, onto the counter and looked at the people in the kitchen. ”Uuummm...yea...I’m going to make lunch...nothing special...just tuna fish sandwiches. Anyone want one?” She asked fishing out a small metal mixing bowl and about four cans of tuna.

User Image Omega: Feeling a bit hungry.

Raine had requested that Billy take her dear friend up to a room to rest. He kindly nodded and gently wisked Sophia into his arms. It was sad how the poor girl lie limp and weakened. It must be hard to turn something as beautiful and serene as mother nature into a violent force of destruction. Billy didn't know her, or anyone, well enough to feel like he could sympathize with. But he could tell that Sophia was hurt and she was going to be his new teammate, and that was enough for him to feel remorse.

The bond between the people here was very obviouse. The way Christian so willing gave up his safety for Sophia, and how Raine furiously defended her honor to that snooty kid Demitri. Billy didn't have anyone like that from home. It made him envious.

Billy kept a slow pace this time around. No eight-legged threat, no rush. Plus he didn't want to disturb Sophia or cause he to vomit. One less mess to clean up. He passed several people in the house as he found the stairs. He just smiled and hoped they would figure out that some of us didn't come out so fortunate from the spider attack.

Slowly and carefully Billy lied Sophia on an empty bed. "Christian and Raine will be up shortly", he said. He gave her a warm reassuring smile as he stepped back to sit obervently in a small cosy arm chair. "You have nice friends. They seem to care a great deal about you and each other. I like that." Grumble Grumble Billy looked down to his stomach. The roaring wasn't loud, but noticeable. He really wished he didn't have to eat.

Alpha: Catalina - Fade to Black - This KillJoy... Crap she already did it.... I quit...

Jack was thinking to himself as he scrubbed sand off him along with salt, of the ocean and his own sweat. He was relaxing and feeling himself loosen up just a a tad. Helpful considering his five clone deaths and the backlash it gave him. Although he was abit tall even for his shower, he managed to duck his head under the spray and cleanse his hair of what remained from their adventure on the hike. It was nothing like he thought the day would go. Honestly aside from the death experiences he had little to complain about. The Redhead waiting for him was gorgeous, and he could honestly admit he was pulled towards her the first time they met. He heard a sound, the clearing of throat that made him stiffen for a second then wiped water from his eyes as he realized it was her. Probably getting something she needed.

That probably was stricken from his mind when she peaked around the curtain and asked if there was room for one more. He had a grin on his face and only a slight of blush, but he shameless enough to not feel a need to cover himself from her. He made a crack about "only if you follow the dress code" and held out his hand to help her in. What started off genuinely washing each other, became more touchy feely. Soon passion got the better and everything blurred together for Jack. Still they managed to get clean and leave drying themselves off for abit. It was then He was lead by the hand to the bed and the world would be lost for the both of them.

----------------

Laying on his back with Kerrigan next to him, his arm about her waist, Jack had his eyes closed but not necessarily sleeping or even that tired. He was awake sure, but his body was like Jello, considering everything done to it just in the single morning. He chuckled at her comment adding, " Yeah. Best plan all day." He kissed her back before she rolled away out of his arm. Despite how drained he was, with a groan, he hauled his muscle torso to sit and rubbed his eyes clear before looking at her, staring really. He knew he liked ehr and that she was pretty, but now in particular she seemed... glowy. He looked down as she asked if he had any request. A small smirk formed on his face, as he looked back up. " I could eat a brick for all I care, as long as you come back beautiful.".

He swung his legs over the side and stood up going to his duffle back and opening a side pocket. There were cloths there and he slipped into some boxers at least. She seemed about to rush off but he caught her hand and pulled her back into him for another kiss. Then let her got to go retrieve lunch. Smiling and waving like a goof as she left. He looked around now alone for the moment, and he had to ask himself what now. He could go back to his room for a little bit but he didn't want to leave her clueless or worry her at worst. He sat back down on the bed to try and motivate his body into moving and regaining some form of strength. Not without a nap. He laid back and decided on just that. She shouldn't be too long, or so he hoped. plenty of time to recuperate and revitalize.

Still He couldn't help but think this happened alittle fast. Not that he wasn't enjoying himself or her company. It just seemed slightly off or odd. Like he was going to wake up any moment and leave this beautiful reality behind. The thought scared him. He stopped perusing it with a sigh as he waited laying there eyes closed. The day wasn't over yet. He'd need a little help to keep up.

Outside - Am I going insane?

User Image

Her bare feet moved with quiet thuds, picking up one right after the other before they even made too much of a sound. She didn't even realized when she'd open the door...she was just running. And the sand was moving under her feet. And...and someone was there when she finally stopped. But she only stopped because the water touched her feet, the ocean lapping at her in lazy push and pull movements.

There was a dazed look to her as she stared up at Antonio. Her mouth opened slightly, showing her uncertainty as she felt the cool liquid flow over her skin while she sunk slightly in the wet sand. He'd asked her what was wrong...and she was drawing a blank.

"I...I don't..." She was going to finish it up with a know but her head felt like it had been in a spin.
Newspaper. Medical room. A date she couldn't see. A headline she'd made. A voice that was yelling...

"The guards switch with a thirty second break, grease down the door. The ducks don't fly unless you swim. Don't wake the momma...keep the pitch low," And she didn't even really comprehend what was slipping out of her mouth.

Shandra gripped her head, shaking it widely for a moment with a small whimper slipping out. She looked back up, as though shocked but still very much dazed. Her face caught onto Antonio and for a moment...everything just...went white.

She wasn't sure if she liked that. No, in fact, she didn't like that in the least. Without warning, she spun around and pushed herself off of the ground. The redhead jumped so far with the aid of her own powers, without really meaning to use them, that she landed far enough into the ocean that she couldn't touch.

The cold bit at her...but it was soothing. Exercise, despite the fact that she was in jeans and a white teeshirt she didn't care. She'd deal with that later. Right now...right now the water was clearing her head after Antonio had caught her attention to pull her out of a mindless run. Damn it...what was happening to her?

Omega - And... change scenery!

Christian’s eyes grew wide at the sight of magma being produced from Dimitri’s fingertip. There was no way in all the rings of Hell that he’d be able to absorb that. He’d be lucky if he would be able to walk away with less than half his flesh melted away. And a half-dead skeleton walking on this island was probably the last sight anyone needed to see, not after the spider debacle.

“You wanna field this one,” Christian said to Raine, pertaining to what Dimitri said, “Or should I?” He didn’t wait for her to answer as he continued. While he was clearing his throat, he saw Billy rush by with Sophia in his arms. Seemed it was getting time to get going. “Nevermind,” he said to Raine before he headed indoors.

“I’ll see ya inside.” If he had a hat, he’d have tipped it to Raine and even Dimitri as he headed indoors. He was still annoyed by having someone fight his battle for him, the battle he was taking up for someone else.

Christian meandered inside, walking past the kitchen, completely oblivious to what exactly had gone on in there. He saw a gaggle of people just situated there, but he was going to ignore it all… for now. Right now, he was letting his anger subside as he headed towards his room. First order of business; get a shirt. He already had two ruined in the past twelve hours or so and was rather getting sad about that and there seemed to be a chilled breeze wafting through the halls.

No time was wasted as he threw on a random Mariners jersey and headed upstairs. Raine wanted him to at least watch over Sophia while she was out of it. His steps were quicker than normal as he headed back towards the flight of steps towards the room both Sophia and Raine shared.

The moment he got there, he saw Billy resting Sophie on her bed and felt a bit of relief the girl was at least going to be able to rest. But she was a mess, the blood had dried a bit on the side of her face. Not only that, the room was a disaster. Waffles, syrup, chocolate sauce.. everything they had brought up for their breakfast feast had been either trampled or strewn about the room in the spider-induced fracas. He’d clean that up eventually…

The room was eerily silent for the most part, quiet enough that Christian heard Billy’s stomach rumbling. He looked at the speedster and just chuckled a bit. Without hesitating, he found a bowl that was sitting on its edge, half of the berries it held on the floor. He grabbed it up, found an empty plate, and dumped the remaining strawberries on said plate.

“Here, man,” Christian said to Billy, as he walked by the chair where the guy sat. He handed his fellow Omega the plate laden with berries before heading into the small washroom. He had heard what Billy had said when he was coming into the room and began thinking briefly as he rinsed the bowl out, wiping out the remaining berry juice, and refilling it with some cold water. After a few moments, Christian walked back out of the washroom with the bowl of water and a small towel. Carefully, he took a seat on the bed next to where Sophia was resting and dampened the towel.

While he sat there, carefully cleaning the blood from Sophia’s face, he thought on what Billy had said. He seemed like a good enough kid, but… Christian could understand where he was coming from. He was the newest Omega.. at least until Billy and Aren showed up. Even then, he kept to himself for the most part, save the few good friends he had made.

Christian was paying attention to cleaning up Sophia but spoke quietly, so not to disturb her rest. “Thanks for your help,” Christian said to Billy, Just knowing that Billy, being the new guy and helping out the way he did, no matter how minutely it was, was commendable. If anything, it earned the guy a little bit of respect in Christian’s book.

“So… where you from?,” Christian asked Billy, finally looking at the fellow Omega. Maybe talking to the speedster would help put him at ease… an ease that wouldn’t be there whenever it was he met the Omega’s leader.

He guessed
the shape shifter hadn't had the opportunity to respond, to out right deny the slurs he'd made at her. Or she'd just ignored him. Again, typical, run-of-the-mill paleface. It wasn't as though he'd matter, because now that he wasn't pressed against the steel barrel of her gun, she had no use for him. Even in his head, the joke that had been humorous a few minutes ago had a bitter taste to it.

Or perhaps, she was simply too slow to formulate an adequate response. He obviously owned her in the ways of eloquence. Bully for him.

He really didn't like this girl. Her condescending tone, all around patronizing attitude, her inability to be original.... Everything about her sucked worse than a hoover.

The fact that she'd just so easily brushed over everything he'd said in response, all of his retaliations... frayed his nerves a bit more than he'd have normally felt. It would have been one thing had she not pretended to be all formal. "I wonder if I had told her my name if she'd have processed it with her obviously overly thick skull." He remarked dully, feeling a bit of triumph as her knees hit the ground with a resounding crack. "Now you know how it feels." He huffed under his breath. It was sad fact, but he was more miffed over her ignoring him and his little quips than what he was with her threatening his life.

The funny accented man called him impressive, snapping his attention back out of his irritation, and he gave way to a smile. "Thanks." Though, Tiny? Really? Meh.. he shrugged outwardly without realizing it. It was better than "short stuff," or "midget." The man's reaction to multitude of spiders was humorous, to say the least, what with his lapses back into a different language.

But in an instant, the spiders disappeared, disintegrated into nothing. What the hell? The olive-eyed man voiced the question that had bubbled in his own conscience and he looked around for a second, before shaking his head in a bemused fashion. "Beats me. Maybe the raid finally kicked in."

Despite her foolishly making claims to kill him, Aren might have tried to help her with the burns she'd suffered from Cissa's retaliation. But as it were, Maddy rushed to jump in to bandage her up, and Aren shook his head, fighting the urge to tell the concerned girl "to let her rot." Blair deserved everything she received. Let her wallow in misery. Please.

Cissa hadn't said she owned the Slovenian man, as opposed to the claim she'd staked upon him just minutes before. Wow. Aren couldn't help but feel special, if only in jest.

Blair had taken a part of the blast, and he hoped that the burns would etch the lesson taught from her being a conceited b***h. Next time, he'd not be so nice about having such a cowardly weapon shoved into his face. Cissa voiced the same opinions in unison with his thoughts. Maybe great minds think alike?

He fell into a daze, his testosterone rising to a new level as he thought about how miffed being threatened with a gun, only to be ignored seconds later until Molly mentioned food. He'd not gotten to eat a full one of Raine's waffles, and Shandra's meal had been destroyed as well. Quickly, he raised a hand, lifting his chin as he gave a friendly smile to the girl. "I'll not pass one up." He said, already anticipating a nice tuna sammich.

Alpha: Sofie & Raine's Room - Making Tasteless JokesUser Image

Sophia was mostly oblivious for the remaining conversation, her heart thudding in her head like leprechauns with tap dancing shoes on. She breathed in sharply when Billy picked her up, surprised. Her small hand curled in his shirt as they went, not feeling nauseated—Just tired. She wasn’t sure what had possessed her, what made her want to go against one of the cardinal rules of her powers. She knew it had been wrong, to let the flora in. She knew it—But she’d done it anyway. She could have animated the plants without that. It had been so, so stupid. Why?

She felt the softness of her bed beneath her, and she sighed lightly and murmured ‘Merci’—Noting with relief that there were no spiders to be seen. Reflexively she tried to touch her hair, trying to make sure nothing had escaped her keen notice and burrowed in her auburn locks. Nothing but drying blood. She groaned faintly in annoyance, the sound quietly infused with a whine… Dried blood took forever to get out of her hair.

Resting, her head tilted towards Billy… She didn’t think they had met before. If they had, she would be doubly embarrassed that she didn’t know his name. “Forgive me…If we’ve already met…My memory seems…Wrong, today. Ah’m Sofie, M’sieu—And you?”

“They are good friends…The best kind of friends to have. Raine is…Probably our rock.”
, she offered to him softly, her creole accent thickening, the more she relaxed.

“We’re all kind of…New to this too…To being on these teams. Have you heard the stories about them? Ah used to think non…not possible…But after this month…Ah think ah believe every word…”, she went on, pausing when Christian came into the room. He was wearing a shirt…She frowned. She liked him better without one.

She heard Billy’s tummy rumblings and felt bad for keeping him.

He sat down next to her on the bed, and a slow smile spread across her features…”Christian…”, she simply sighed his name, saying nothing else as he started to clean the blood off of her face. Just, simply happy to see him, having forgotten about the words of Dimitri. Though she giggled after a moment, the action causing her to tense with a phantom pain to her chest. She wasn’t going to enjoy that happening over the next few days… Glancing towards the seated Billy, she smiled lightly as her eyes fell closed… “Two handsome boys by my bedside…Ah haven’t had this many strapping men at my bedside since that night with the Varsity Lacrosse team…”

She chuckled, waiting for what she’d said to settle in. Of course, Christian would know she was teasing—Considering there were more than two players on a lacrosse team.

“If it flopped--That was a joke, homme's”

Omega
Kitchen to Bed Room - The Go Getter

User ImageMadison's mouth hung agape for a moment before it clenched shut. She hadn't really heard the first bit of Narcissa's speak, the girl caught in her own mind for that moment. When she came back, her eyes flashed as stinging cold water dripped from her face onto the floor. For a moment her hand became a fist, but loosened as she went and flipped back her soaked hair.

"I think..."
she said, standing slowly, her hands at her sides, palms out, "that my point has been proven." Narcissa could ride on that high horse all she wanted, but in the end, Maddy was right.

Again she flicked a strand of soaked, cold, hair out of her face. Her shirt clung to her body, and heaved with her breath. Her hands still faced outwards, open to receive Narcissa without force. "You want to patronize me, yet how easily you forget that it was the 'junior recruits' that all risked themselves against the horde, Belasco, and your 'mind ********' self to save you." her words came slowly, yet with a force that accompanied that knowledge that you are right. She would have the last word it it killed her, and with Narcissa it might just.

She scanned the room, less than happy to see that Shandra had run out on her. The redhead was one of the few that she thought she could count on. Then again, Shandra and Maddy both knew full well what they were getting into when they said anything against die Führeren.

Oh, yes. Madison was an Omega. She was not, however, Narcissa's twisted view of such. To be an Omega was not to be cruel, sadistic pawn of die Führeren's. It was simply knowing that you were better than the homo-sapien. Too many seemed to forget that. She was there to fight for her species. She wasn't afraid to say that, anymore [well, this all might be the drugs talking, really...]. Madison hadn't chosen this team, she'd been put on it, but she belonged on it. She would stay with that team, even if it meant dealing with Narcissa.

The girls blue eyes jumped down to the girl on the floor. Blair. This girl had better be worth it. Maddy, too, questioned the sudden lack of spiders. Where they were, she didn't know. They probably all scurried up Narcissa's skirt while she wasn't looking.

"Oh, just get up. You might not have a face, but you have legs. You don't need a lift. Follow me," she said lowly. There was no point in taking the medical kits back up. Narcissa's ever brilliant water display had put the wraps out of use for now. She leaned in to Blair's ear, and whisper so softly that she herself could hardly hear it. "Don't make me regret this, b***h."

Maddy turned quickly, her hair spraying drops of water as she spun. she didn't bother looking back to see if the injured one was coming, and she sure as hell didn't bother looking back at the blond. If Blair wasn't going to come, she could stay to humor Narcissa. Maddy climbed the stairs stiffly, heart pounding faster than she had realized before. the girl seemed to pass through the hall, unobserving and blank until she reached the door before hers, Forellen's. She wasn't sure if the girl was even in there, but she gave a hard double knock. "Forellen? It's Maddy. Come to my room, I'm going to need your help."

Omega: Kitchen - Annoyed User Image

“Your point is lost and falling on deaf ears, love.”, Narcissa responded, her expression…Not something that would promote kindness. If Madison wanted to push her, the sun goddess was more than willing, and ready to push back. “The Junior teams were sent to Limbo with the primary target of stopping Belasco from merging worlds, and creating a literal hell on earth… Hell, I wasn’t even bloody there and I know that. Whether you found me or not is inconsequential. It just so happened that you or whomever had to cross my slightly insane self to get there.”

“The life of one mutant, even mine—Isn’t worth the world. So don’t pretend to go all noble and Alpha. You know what your mission was. Even if you had to kill me to get it done. It's called collateral damage.”, Narcissa called after the dysfunctional Omega as she left the kitchen with her new ward… The large syringe still in hand. Of course, forcing a burned girl who may or may not be able to see straight walk on her own was courteous. She half wondered if Madison was on drugs. Because there had to be some excuse—Some reason why the girl was acting half out of mind.

Though she did find herself unusually amused with the fact that dearest Maddie hadn’t bothered to argue half the points Narcissa threw back at her. Just as suspected, all bark, and no bite. Still… There was no room for dissension on the Omega’s. None, at all. If she wanted to act that way she might as well write home to Forge now and request a color change in uniforms.

A soldier that couldn’t follow orders… Couldn’t deal with a harsh reality… That was a soldier that ended up dead. It wasn’t a threat to any of her Omega’s… It was an eventuality.

Narcissa was…Inwardly confused. She stopped someone from shooting Aren in the head. Usually ended up pulling collective fat out of the fryer… Exactly what was she doing wrong? Her personality had nothing to do with her leading ability. She was harsh. And cold… But she could lead troops into a battle, not flinch, and win.

To her knowledge…She had yet to ask them to do anything that would compromise their precious morals… So she wasn’t entirely sure where Ammo was getting off.

Narcissa had seen Shandra run out… And she could only count to ten slowly in her head. She could guess as to the reasons… But there really wasn’t a bone in her at this point that could care. Antonio rushed out after her… The red head would be fine.

Tapping her comm as she leaned against the counter, she called Gideon again…”Veritas, haul a**!”

The blond sun goddess remained in the kitchen, waiting for Gideon to show up… If this Blair girl even deserved to have such stops pulled out for her. Somehow Narcissa doubted it. She slowly slipped into a wooden seat at the counter… Today felt like the longest day ever.

Alpha - Catalina - I'll take the high road....

Raine was eternally grateful that her friends, and Billy did not fight her direction, mostly because she didn't want Sophia to keep suffering the way she was. The girl needed to rest, and Raine was going to take care of her no matter what. They departed to take her roomy upstairs where she could rest, the brunette turning her sights on the tea and aspirin she promised to bring her. Still, she felt like she couldn't just leave their newest team member standing in format of the house, not knowing where to go. After all, Raine was known for being the go-to girl when it came to information. Her thoughts continued to swirl, the brunette finding herself staring at Dimitri without really looking at him. When she realized that her eyes were focused on his biceps, she felt her face flush slightly, shaking her head as he yelled at her, asking what she was staring at. 'don't say his biceps, don't say his biceps…'

So much for hoping that he wouldn't notice. Her expression turned slightly cocky, looking at him as if she had no idea what he was talking about.

"Nothing! Nothing, yea, look. You're new, and if you just got here, you should talk to your team leader and let them know you're here. You got promoted to Alpha, right?" Her hands crossed her chest as she tossed her hair over her shoulder, closing the gap between them in a few steps. She was suddenly self-conscious of how she looked, not because she cared what he, specifically thought of her, but more just in general. Did she look as frazzled as she felt like she did? Was her hair really that big of a mess?

"Come on," she said simply as she passed him, heading towards the last place she had caught sight of Bella - the beach. She didn't really check to make sure he was following her, but it would be in his best interest. She didn't really know what to say to him considering she was torn between admiring his muscles and hating his apparent treatment of women. If he thought lines like the one he pulled earlier were going to make the girls swoon, he sure had another thing coming. Probably a broken bone. Or a concussion. Or both, depending on who he talked to.

It wasn't long before she caught sight of the Alpha team leader with another girl (Bianca) in the water, her smile returning as she saw them. They both looked really pretty in the water - it was a shame she wouldn't be able to join them. Having her power was really a pain in the butt sometimes.

Standing far enough on the shore where she was in no danger of a wave washing up and splashing her, she put her hand to her mouth, calling out into the surf.

"Bella! Sorry to interrupt your swim, but I've not a new recruit here you might want to talk to. I would show him the ropes myself, but Sophia isn't feeling well and I want to go check on her."

While they waited for their fearless leader to wade out of the water, Raine turned her attentions to Dimitri running her fingers back through her curls as she forced herself to speak to his face rather than his arms. They were just too distracting today.

"That's the Alpha leader, Bella. She'll be able to tell you everything you need to know about the teams. Oh, I'm Raine, by the way. Look, I have to go check on Sophia, so…yea. Catch you later muscles," she said with one more glance over his form before turning and heading back into the condo. Rather than head straight upstairs, she made a detour to the kitchen, her sole goal in mind to find the aspirin and tea. There was a girl with burns, no doubt from Narcissa, though there were so many people around that she didn't want to clutter anything. Besides, she had a friend upstairs that needed her help.

Placing a pot of water on the stove, she let it come to a boil while she went through the cabinets to find what she was looking for. Not knowing where things were, it took her quite a while to find the cabinet with the medicinal supplies in it. Taking out two pills, she placed them on a napkin, the water finally steaming. Removing the pot from the burner, she poured it into a mug, over the tea bag, so that it could steep while she carried everything upstairs. She cast one last look at the group in the kitchen, not really speaking to anyone since no one there really caught her interest. She moved quickly to the room she was sharing with Sophia, walking in to see her roomy conversing with the two men in the room. She hadn't thought to bring any tea for them. If they wanted some, she could go get it later.

"Here we are. sorry I took so long, but I felt like I had to at least take Dimitri to Bella. You guys weren't talking to me, were you?" Her voice indicating that she was joking around, moving to the side of the bed and kneeling down. she held the mug of tea in one hand and the aspirin in the other, notsure which one the girl would want first.

Alpha: Meeting the big dog
User Image

The paranoid playboy was glad to see that Christian decided to take the smart route and leave the situation and leave it up to Raine, who was not threatening him with electricity anymore it seemed; instead asking him about his arrival. Both of those actions made Dimitri calm down, cease his magma gun projectile and stopped him from doing something that he would regret for years to come. Unfortunately, his clothing was granted no mercy. At first, he arrived with simple shorts and a tanktop; after the magma trick however, his shorts were eaten up like chips, stopping just above the middle portion of his quadriceps. His tanktop was only holding on Dimitri's left trapezius muscle, or his neck revealing his right breast. In addition, his left and right midsecion was also revealed. Though one didn't really need to focus on small detail.

He looked like a mess, simple as that.

"Ye-Yeah, im new; i just got promoted to the alpha team."

She then told Dimitri to follow her but didn't say where, which made Dimitri a bit dubious but he grabbed his stuff and followed anyway. During their little walk, Dimitri stayed quiet and trusted where Raine was going to take him. Though the fact that he stayed quiet, without any jokes, innuendo's or simple questions that didn't involve the x-men made the trip a bit awkward, even if only for a few moments. But really he did want to talk to her; ask her how long has she been part of whatever team she was on, how long has she been going to the high school, etc. Dimitri however was...nervous?

No doubt his system was still tainted, along with the rest of the x-men. But did the leaders become victims as well? If not, then hopefully they would have some sort of solution. It was going to be difficult to tell though, and add the fact they didn't even know about it, made it close to impossible.

They arrived at the beach, where two lovely ladies were enjoying the nice blue clean water their vacation resort offered them. His stomach gave a hungry growl while Raine pointed him to their leader and that any questions he had Bella would have them answered before a quick introduction to herself with goodbye with a hint of flirting maybe?

"Heh..thanks." he replied as he blushed a bit, looked down and scratched his head with his left arm.

The Alpha Playboy, looking like a mess walked a bit closer to the two ladies in bathing suits in a nervous manner, as if he never approached a women in his entire life.

"Excuse me, Bella? Hey Raine sent me over here, but you probably saw that. Im the new recruit to the Alpha team..i got promoted."

I seem to recognize your face
Haunting, familiar, yet I can't seem to place it
Cannot find the candle of thought to light your name

New people were piling into the room in hoards , it seemed, and Dominik found himself straining to keep track of them all- not something that he’d even attempt to do in his normal state of mind. Lips thinning slightly in a momentary bout of discontent, he let his gaze amble to the floor as his attention span fast gave up on the previous endeavor. Extrovert or no, taking stock of all these people wouldn’t be an easy task as there were just so damn many of them, and picking out those who were apart of his given team would be even more difficult. Meh, whatever, He mulled, the sentiment slightly more akin to his general character.

He followed Aren’s gaze to the woman on the floor (Blair), feeling the first waves of contempt towards her overtake him as he took proper note of her present state, and the situation he’d walked in on. Who the hell brought a gun on vacation with them anyway…much less attempted to use it? Looking at Aren, he couldn’t fathom what the man had possibly done to deserve being threatened in such a way; he seemed pretty cool to Dom. Plus, the woman had blindly overlooked his retorts back which, as much as they’d been meant as an insult towards her, were rather hilarious in content. And in Dominik’s present state of mind, that meant a ******** lot. He shook his head, resisting the very powerful urge to scoff- she’d be getting none of his sympathy, at the very least. Let her face stay burned; let the scars forever be a reminder of her foolishness.

”b***h.” The words erupted from him in a mumble, and Dominik was startled that he’d even bothered to verbalize such feelings- he usually wouldn’t. Still, it felt nice to make his thoughts on the situation known, if only to those immediately nearby. He dug his hands into his pockets, the movement fluid and casual, noting Tiny’s comment about the ‘raid kicking in’ ”And here I was thinking we were in need of an exterminator…”

It took him another moment to register that Cissa’s attentions was turning his way, and he made the latter obvious by blinking rather slowly as their eyes met- why was he so damn slow on the uptake today? He probably seemed like an idiot right now…but, still, a smile rounded out his features in response, and a genuine one at that. He hadn’t much experience with these people yet, but the way their leader carried herself made him believe that he was indeed on the superior team,

”Thanks. Glad to be here- more or less.” He said it in earnest, coupling the words with a nod of acknowledgment, something almost akin to respect for The Walking Lighter, his new leader.

There were still more people piling into the room, and though such an occurrence would usually make Dominik retreat to a more secluded area of the house, it seemed that the effects of KILLJOY were at least enough to keep him in place. Which was perhaps a good thing, as soon enough Maddie and Cissa were getting into it with one another. The Slovenian watched with a curious gaze, feeling little sympathy for either party. His mannerism wasn’t so warped that he’d take sides- if anything, the drugs had increased his pension for apathy. As such, when Cissa called for anyone with qualms against her to speak up, he remained silent. Hell, she was the leader- he wasn’t exactly going to go out of his way to step on her toes.

His focus on the two woman was gradually tapering out, flitting instead to the redhead who seemed rather disturbed at the situation. So much so that she turned and fled the room, and the Spanish man who had followed her in turned to go after her. Granted, not before he spouted a few lame idioms to the people they were leaving. Dominik’s brow furrowed, his tone falling flat from his lips, ”And a still tongue keeps a wise head…”

Oh, right, and he was still starving. Thankfully, a woman with a cat was offering to make sandwiches. Somewhere in the back of his mind, Dominik recalled not liking tuna very much, but presently it didn’t matter; he was hungry enough that he’d eat just about anything available. He followed Aren in stepping up to the invitation, ”I’ll have one too.”
