"Harry Potter much?" Penny said and took notice to Regina's warning. Now how the hell were they going to get out of here. Maybe it was her dumb fault for not thinking on the situation more. She assumed that when the safties were unlocked that all of the Danger Room sheilds were up to keep them in. Maybe they weren't. Could Anna get through the wall? There was usually a force field that went out preventing that from happening. Anna could cut through anything organic, but not energy... or at least that was the assumption. They never really wanted to attempt it before since the girl would get electrocutged.

"Maybe our tampering friend didn't mess with the force feild between the wall that keeps our mishaps inside... Maybe Xavier was able to shut it down to let us get out," Penny pointed to where the Danger Room doorway should be.

"Might as well try," Anna said and put her hands out to feel the doorway. She told everybody to keep their distance, "AAAHHH SON OF A b***h." Anna had cracked through the door but ther ewas a thin forcefield between them and the hallway.

"Regina, can you get us up to the control room if jamie takes down the lights?"

Gn. Mutant farm. Now that was a good way to look at it.

Raine mused quietly to herself, her crimson-hued optics scanning the destruction and listening to the conversation held by the guy she had followed and the three others. Reflecting that she still didn't know how to address the stranger; and vice-versa, she wrinkled her nose a bit at Toad's scent, but continued her silence. She didn't enjoy talking much anyway.

However...she did arch a brow with consideration when she listen the things that would be an end to them.

'He didn't bring up one...'

She thought, sharing a glance at the mutant hunter which still kept his distance from them. He must have been feeling the after-effects of his life force being drained. Even marginally, it wasn't a pleasant experience whatsoever.

Hardly flinching, Raine watched with interest while he sent a blast off into the sky, a faint smile crossing her lips briefly as she considered her options so far, which wasn't much. She didn't know if she should trust him-but trust wasn't the only thing wrong here. She didn't exactly know if she wanted any of these people close to her-in her condition while she would be able to certainly take down a few, she knew that they could kill her if they chose to.

Through weighing them, she inclined her head in a slight nod. And slowly approached him and escaping from the rain which had already drenched her.

"Alright. But if you try -anything- your soul's mine. Got it?"

"I'm sure they're fine. There's no sign of foul play here. More than likely, they're in the war room trying to figure out what's going on..." Penny was slightly tired of everything going wrong in this place. Shouldn't Xavier's have state of the art security systems to prevent this crap, or did the guy just enjoy the occasional weekly intruder?

The rest of their team seemed exhausted. She didn't really want to get them into anymore trouble, "Why don't you guys go get some rest. You've had a rough day."

Stinky and smelly they all filed out of the Danger Room. There were no X-Men on the floor which really made it seem like something else was going on that they were concerned about. Great, glad somebody was paying attention to the team that was getting slaughtered in the Danger Room. McCoy almost doubled over them at that moment, "Oh my stars and garters, I was just about to come and retreive you from the Danger Room. I am glad to see you all are out okay."

"We're fine," Penny widened her eyes and made a head gesture to let McCoy know that not everybody knew that the safties were off and it should stay that way. He completely understood and said nothing.

"I would advise everybody to report to the Infirmary as it is customary after such an intense session," He pointed down the hallway. The kids moaned and groaned wanting to leave, "Well, I advise you then to report in the morning."

Penny and Regina headed to the stairwell. Penny walked gingerly on her leg but made no mention of it, "We going to check it out?"

Regina knew what she meant, "Of course."

The night had been fairly quite in the Institute after some of the students got a tounge lashing by Jean Grey. Alanna was thankfully not one of those students. She came up the stairs feeling the banister to lead her up. There was somebody pacing the hallway when she came up. She had heard their footsteps before she came there.

Alanna had an inkling of who this might be. Mr. McCoy had told her she had a roommate finally, somebody who might help out the darkness Alanna was in while inside the Institute, namely the upper corridors. The girl was unconsciously producing a change in the environment around her. It gave a white haze to alanna's sight and produced the lines around her figure.

"Are you Gen?" Alanna asked padding her hand along the wall to find her way without hitting anything. She probably should get a walking stick or a dog or something, but she was always too pround for that and relied a lot on her mutant abilities to tell her were to go.

"How did you know?"

"I was told to look for you," Alanna didn't want to get into the whole 'knowing' it was her thing, "I'm Alanna, you're roommate. Our room is three doors down from here, by the girls locker room."

"No worries, I'll heal fine. Might scar, but that comes with the job," Penny shrugged it off. She stood on the porch with Regina and they both scanned the area. Whatever was out there wasn't giving any signs that it existed. There was no weird movement that would give it away.

"I can't see it, Reg," Penny frowned, "I'm not gonna ask you if you're sure about it cause I believe you."

"Christ, what a day... First, I get attacked by that crazy dog thing, then I find out that I can make forcefields, then I find out that I can dodge bullets, and to top it all off, we wlmost get killed because some jackass screwed around with the control... room....." Morgan mumbles to himself, trailing off at the end as realization dawns on him. If someone WAS in the control room, then they'd have left some trace behind. A fingerprint, a bead of sweat, even a hair from their head...

{I'm geussing that the thing that put Pietro's powers into overdrive is the same thing that gave Scott and his brother control over their powers in the show, at least for one episode, right?}
