Okay, so that was probably a bit too tough. The answer is Squall, Quistis, and Selphie. Followed by Irvine and Zell.

Well, since I seem to be putting up trivia more frequent than we have visitors, I'm gonna leave this question up until I get an answer. Plus I've been pretty darn busy so daily questions is much harder than it used to be.
I'll give you a hint on the current question: The beast stands proud and tall on more legs than four. What beast has more than 4 legs and is common to more than just FF8?

This is a tough one. The only thing I can think of is Odin, sitting atop Sleipner. The "mortal" part, and also the "on more legs than four." The last part makes me doubt my answer though.
3-4 questions a week might be enough.
