 Fortune knocks but once,
"Well it's enough for the ANBU to harrass you for it..." Aoi said dully because when she was 8 (the time she just got it) the ANBU captain kept following her and asking her to give the book....It annoyed Aoi like hell, and finally given up when Aoi hid it somewhere in the village....and 5 days later it was stolen.
but misfortune has much more patience

Kano sitting there being bored. "Anyone up for a sparr perhaps". Kano said taking a puff of his ciggerette before putting it out hoping to get a challenger.

"I'll fight you..." Saito stated as he stepped forward, taking a couple of steps towards Kano. This one has been asking several times for a spar, as if he had something to prove...which in this case he does. He would see how he would fare...he might just very well provide some sort of usefulness.

Kano laughed "Finally someone wants to fight" Training all this time would have ment nothing for Kano especially since he had been getting so bored lately. "Ok and I am sorry but i have never caught your name".

"Well then be my guest, it is your move". Kano layed out some scrolls before him then got into a ready-like stance.

"Oh...But I'm no good at lying..." Aoi frowned because she didnt like lying either, she felt it was just plain wrong. "to be in ANBU is your dream? Mine is to be a medical nin...But I highly doubt it will happen any time soon...." AOi frowned because she knew demons hurt not heal.

Saito grinned as he reached into his hip, grabbing three kunais from it. In one fluid motion, Saito launched the three kunais straight at Kano at top speeds. He would merely toy with him first, get a feel for how he fights and what he specializes in.

Kano laughed at such a simple attack such as this. Kano quickly made some hand seals to execute his jutsu Kumo Tate no Jutsu (Cloud Shield Technique). This would use my chakra to condense the air in front of me creating a cloud shield to block enemy projectiles. "Is that all you got" Kano said knowing it was not an actual attack really.

"Oh..I see..." Aoi sighed because she wasnt willing to tell him the demon sealing, and the fact he would find out about it eventually...She still knew she couldnt heal with her type of chakra.

(Alright...it's time for some roleplaying battles 101. Whenever your posting a jutsu, post the name AND the description below your actual post in occ. That way, your opponent won't have to spend time trying to find the jutsu that you just used. Note that there is a reason for me doing this so bear with me and don't feel offended if I give you advise ^_^)
Saito grinned as he knew such an attack would fail. Now he knew a single jutsu done by him. Unsheathing his sword, he took his stance as he rushed forward. The wind waved Saito's hair fiercely as he made a mad dash towards Kano. In one simple move, Saito thrusted his blade with the left hand at Kano's right shoulder. This too was simply another move to see how Kano would react.

[Not offended i just didnt know how you wanted me to do it so i just tried to explain it so i wouldnt have to post it occ but ok]
Kano wondered why this guy was nearly toying with him. "I like your tatics i really do" Kano said letting this guy stab through his shoulder. Kano began to laugh launching is left arm towards the soleus releasing his tendrils into the ground and up behind this shinobi in attempts to restrain him.

The sword blow landed, much to Saito's surprise. Why would he let himself get hurt like that. That's when it happened. Dozens of tendrils were released from the shinobi's body as they attempted to grab him. Releasing his grip on his sword, Saito backflipped out of the way, barely missing the Tendrils grasp by centimeters as they went at him. Backflipping to a decent distance, he looked back at his opponent. "I see...so these tendrils are inside of you, giving you some sort of immunity to wounds..." Saito analyzed as his sword was still imbedded into Kano. Though he could have ended with that single blow by a simple technique, he would wait. This shinobi was really starting to interest him.
