Tansy laughed softly as she stood. "Alright, alright." She smiled as she followed Gidget to the guest room. She wasn't meaning to sleep. She didn't really do that much anymore. Mostly she meditated. She could sleep, but meditating did much of the same thing. And was easier. She didn't have to worry about where her wings were.

Shane shakes his head with a grin, "As much as she loves Tansy, she loves you like the older sister she never had. She's said so in several of the emails she has sent me. Also, you are overconfident in your abilities. You said so yourself, push yourself too much and you become weak and cough up blood. Do you really think he's going to make it easy for you to reach him, especially after you five obliterated his headquarters. Of course, I can't really stop you, I just want to keep the people that saved my little sister safe."

"The genre depends on my mood. Mostly rock, heavy metal, symphonic metal, though." He followed her out of the elevator, and shook his head to her next question, even though she was in front of him at the time. "I had a chance to try it once, I went to a practice session with a friend, and he said I could try it after he did a few more laps. Did you know you could make a KTM climb a tree if you hit it just right? He managed to hang the thing by it's front forks about fifteen feet up. He was okay, but I never got to take that test ride." He didn't know why, but he always loved to tell that story to anyone who'd listen.

"I would guess I converted at least a hundred gallons of liquid into hydrochloric acid and then a lot of that acid back into water on a near empty stomach, while running around and burning even more calories that way," said Annie. "Wouldn't in theory, if I can do that much with some minor side effects, than if I had a full stomach and was completely well rested..."
She shrugged spotting a loaf of bread on the counter. "Do you mind?" She asked opening the bread loaf. She really was hungry.

Shane motions to the bread, "Oh yes of course, please help yourself. Mi casa es su casa. Coughing up blood isn't what I would call a minor side effect. The real problem is where that blood came from. We've studied a number of class threes, none of which ever said that they coughed up blood when they over-exerted themselves. When someone coughs up blood it can come from one or two places: the gastro-intestinal tract or the lungs. If you'd please, when it happened, did you have difficulty breathing or feel as if something was tearing at your stomach?"

"Both?" She said as she ate a whole piece of bread in one bite and went on to a second piece, eating as she went on. "When you cough up blood it does tend to impede breathing. I was short of breath and had horrible cramps." Shrugging she said smiling as she ate her third piece of bread.
"I don't seem all that worse for wear, though, now," she said. Pensively, she added, "Come to think of it my stomach has been upset for a bit. It feels a bit like acid reflex. Must be why this bread tastes so good." As she finished she speaking she was already on working on eating her fourth piece of bread.

Garret stepped into the kitchen only to bust out in laughter. "Wow, Annie! Im glad you're feeling better." He said with a smile. He wiped his eye asking Shane, "Hey, do you mind making some coffee? I dont know where you keep your stuff...."

Shane laughs at his two guests. He moves over to the refrigerator and pulls out a jar of jelly. He places it on the counter next to the little bag of bread that Annie has been attacking. "The toaster is to your left if you'd like." He turns around to another cupboard and pulls out a can of coffee grounds. After filling his coffee maker with water and making all the necessary preparations, it doesn't take long for the apartment to smell like Colombian brew. He looks to Annie, "Vomiting is always going to impede breathing for a little bit. What I meant was did you have a sensation like you were drowning shortly before it happened? "

"The toaster would only slow me down," Annie said quickly. "I think I'll feel in tip top shape once I get the rest of this bread down." She glanced at Shane, finally slowing down her eating a bit, "It felt like I was choking on water that went down the wrong pipe or something, if that makes any sense."
After finishing her eighth piece of bread, she took out one last slice and begins to spread jelly on it, "Hmm... I guess nine pieces will be the trick."

Lily Stinson Lily only smiled at his choice in music, she really didn't mind it much, with the exception of country, the girl absolutely couldn't stand country. Something about it just made her want to rip out her ears and let them bleed.
"Nice taste. I like everything pretty much, except country music. That stuff is like my daddy use to say. Tears in your ears." she smiled at the small remembrance of her father. Oh how she missed him, he was the light of her life, as she his. Now all that was changed, he was gone. Leaving her with the up most bitter woman she had ever met, and sadly enough she had to call this woman mother.
"Once I get all my things back, maybe you can ride one of mine." she said with a smile, trying to cover the fact she was a little upset at the speak of her father. "I have 4. " she shrugged. When she first chose the sport, she couldn't make up her mind one what bike she wanted, so she went with the four top rated bikes, and then she chose from there, regarding what kind of mood she was in decided which bike she played with. "And as for the matter of tree climbing... That'll just make my mothers day." she said with a smirk, picturing herself getting stuck in a tree.. Her mothers face would be priceless, she doubted that anything she could picture would amount to the real thing. Almost made it worth trying.
In moments however they reached the coffee shop. She smiled as she held the door open for him, simply because he was behind her. She looked inside seeing little to no people inside now, the morning rush had ended. All that resided was a student taking advantage of the free WiFi that the small Cafe offered. (I won't be on tomorrow, and most likely most if not all of Wednesday. I have a funeral to go to.. )

Shane scratches his head for a moment, "If it felt that way, then it most likely came from your lungs. I'd like to have an X-ray of your lungs done in the near future if that is alright with you?."
He looks over to Garret. He raises his voice a bit to be heard over the sound of the bubbling coffee maker, "How about you Garret? Do you have any questions for me?"

Annie raised a brow, "It could always have come from both my lungs and my stomach." She shrugged, as she took a large bite of her jam and bread, enjoying her food slowly for the first time in a while now. Smiling she pushed herself onto the counter and crossed her legs. Leaning her elbow on her knee she watched Garret who had seemed unusually quiet since the incident with Mr. Ray.
Garret was always quiet to some degree, but not to the extent that he was now. It was as if he was hiding something. He didn't seem to have his typical (and no doubt justified) angst about not knowing who he was. She felt selfish for monopolizing Shane Morris and focusing on her problems, it wasn't fair to the others.
Quietly, Annie said, "Garret, if you want I can leave if you'd like to speak with Mr- Shane- in private." Sighing she slid off the counter taking the last bite of her breakfast, "Or you could always bring up something with me or the others. After what happened, I know at least in my case, I have no right to judge anyone for anything."

(That's okay, I'm sorry to hear about the funeral.)
"That sounds like fun, I think I'll have to take you up on it." Ako said, watching a passing car as they walked up to the cafe. He almost commented on the money that her family must have to just give her four motorcycles, but decided against it. Instead, he picked up on another point of their conversation. "I take it you mom doesn't like you riding?"

Kicking off her shoes, Tansy sat on the bed in the same way as she did in the living room. Legs crossed, eyes closed, wrists on knees. Slowly, she let out her breath and made her mind relax.
Thinking solely on her breathing, listening to her heart slowly beat. She felt the goose bumps rise on her skin, her chest rise and fall, the muscles relax and Tansy mind began to wander.
Before her she saw her sisters face. A small sad smile pulled at her lips. She often saw her sister. She wasn't sure if it was just memories, or something more. The picture expanded to show Lilith curled up on the couch, Tansy's favorite blue blanket laid over her, her eyes closed, eyeliner streamed down her face. Her head laid on her arms, which held the pillow Tansy had used.A tear slipped down from her closed eyes as she continued to watch her.
Once again, the image became larger, now showing the whole room. The small one room studio looked a mess. Most of the drawers were open with things hanging out of them, the door to the bed room was closed and there was cans of soda and bags of chips covering over the table. It was then that the door of the bedroom opened. Tansy raised a brow as she concentrated on the door.

Lilith moaned softly as she turned onto her side. It was just about then when she heard the squeak from the bedroom door. Her eyes shot open, but she stayed still. She glanced around her, her body remained perfectly still. "H-hello?" She said softly as she slowly lifted herself up, her head faced the door. She heard a single gun shot, let out a scream and rolled off the couch with a thud. She laid still, face down, praying to God that the man would leave without checking on her.
She wasn't sure how much time had past, but she hadn't heard any footsteps... She tried, once again to sit upright. She didn't hear anything. She rose to her knees and peered over the couch. She could see the curtain flowing from the window. She stood and quickly moved into the bedroom. She sighed softly as she ran over to close the window and let out a cry of pain when she cut her hand on the broken glass.
"Damn it!" She growled as she moved from the bedroom to the bathroom. Opening the cabinet she grabbed the first aid kit and began to wrap her hand with a roll of gauze. "Why does everything have to go wrong at once!" She sighed softly as she tied off the gauze and walked back into the living room. "What's next?" She asked loudly. "What else are you going to put me through?!" Lilith growled as she stared up at the ceiling.
