*ish now glad you made the clues bold* XP
Journey yelped when Chesire barked at her, nearly falling over when he said she could go on. She quickly trotted over to Naito's and Roland's sides.
Relieved that the others had made it so far, he flicked his tail when the riddler faced him. He closed his eyes to think. Could it be... it made sense with the first two parts, but he wasn't positive about the last part. With a deep swallow, he reopened his eyes. "It's the heart."
Garaden: *guess what, Still waiting!*

Moving to stand away from Ivan and hopping on his rock, he nodded his head.
"Lucky you are, for your guess was correct... you may enter Knight and wait with the others." Cheshire looked at Garaden, Rudolf, Kai and Atreyu still standing there and waiting and he smirked."So who is up next?" Cheshire closed his eyes and began to move his paw back and forth quickly before it landed on Garaden. "Oh dark one step forward -- What cannot be seen, cannot be felt, cannot be heard, cannot be smelt. It lies behind the stars and beneath the hills. It ends life and kills laughter."

Rudolf just about died when he heard the riddle for Garaden. He hoped that his riddle would be easier. He glanced at Roland who was smirking.
Roland was smirking. This strange moonlit did know some good riddles. He looked over and saw that Rudolf was looking at him. He smiled and gave a nod trying to encourage him.

Nods, then steps up to join those who already solved their riddles. Calm on the outside, he watched nervously as Garaden was up next.
Journey smiled happily when Ivan got his right, then stood, wagging her tail. "Come on Garaden!" She yipped.
Garaden's tail twitched as his riddle was recited. His usual thousand questions flew through his mind. Soon he found himself in the same spot as Ivan had been. He thought he had the answer, the first part of the clue could match, but the last part made him wonder. He was breathing heavily by the time he got up the guts to risk an answer, taking a deep breath to steady his voice. "Is it darkness?" His ears flattened. What if he was wrong?

"Nice try but no, that's not the right answer.... No, I'm kidding. Go and stand with the others. Your guess was correct young knight." Cheshire gave the remaining three a wide smirk and wagged his tail. "Your numbers sure have dwindled but don't worry, I won't make it easy for you three." Cheshire turned to Rudolf and gestured for him to come forward.
"You're up -- What goes on four legs in the morning, on two legs at noon, and on three legs in the evening?"

Roland perked up at this riddle. Rudolf should know it since he had asked Rudolf it before when he was little. "You can do it Rudolf." HE cheered.
Rudolf just about fainted when Cheshire turned to him. He slowly stepped forward and listened to the riddle. He tilted his head recognizing the riddle. What was the answer again. Roland taught him this one. He shook his head trying to clear it as he began to think. Four legs in the morning..... two at noon...... and three at night. Well only anthros and humans walked on two legs. So it had to be one of them. He thought some more looking at Roland. A smile dawned on his face as he remembered Roland explaining the answer. "Man it is!" He cried happily, "Morning baby crawling, noon man grown walk on two, evening old can must use."

Garaden gagged. He did get it wrong! Wait-? He's kidding?! He crumpled to the ground in relief. He grumbled something about 'monkey buzzard' and crawled slowly over to the others, embarassment and relief fighting for priority in his mind.

"Very very good. You have been well taught for lucky you are, your guess was correct... you may enter Knight and wait with the others." Cheshire looked at Kai and Atreyu still standing there and waiting and he smirked at the two who were familiar to him."Who thought that you two would be the last ones huh? Fun fun fun! I will have lots of fun fun fun with you two."
"Oh cut it out Cheshire and ask the riddle. I'll go first..." Kai said, stepping toward Cheshire. "And you better not make mine hard just because I pushed you off the shed on christmas and told you you could fly..."
"To think Kai, I forgot about that!" Cheshire rolled his eyes at Kai and flicked his tail."Alright then, even you can answer this -- Feed me and I live. Give me to drink and I die. What am I?"
Kai was silent as he thought about it. Feed me and I live? What was it... a wolf... animal...but if I give it drink it dies. That makes no sense. You can't feed something to help it live and then give it water and dies like you're putting out - His eyes widened as he remembered something his mate had told him about feeding oxygen to a flame could feed it and that if were to just calm down and put water on his tail, he'd be alright and it would go out. Roxy...that idiot pyro... pyro
"Fire, the answer is fire!"
"Surprising..." Cheshire was quite surprised that Kai had answered correctly when he usually just skirted around the bush. He stepped aside and let the pink male enter to wait for the others while he turned his attention to Atreyu who had been sitting silently the whole time waiting and giving encouraging smiles to everyone as they went. He stared Cheshire in the eye and the two stood there for a moment like that before Cheshire blinked and looked away."So the last and final knight. Your riddle is one I just came up with and it is not in my rhyme. You must prove yourself worthy by answering me honestly -- With no wings, I fly. With no eyes, I see. With no arms, I climb. More frightening than any beast, stronger than any foe. I am cunning, ruthless, and tall; in the end I rule all. What am I?"
Atreyu stared at Cheshire for a moment and then frowned.
"Someone cannot fly without wings or see without eyes..." Atreyu said, shaking his head as he thought into that more. None of that made any lick of sense to him but the first part was what was really striking him. He could close his eyes and could picture the world clearly in his mind but he couldn't 'see' new place...that is, unless he made them up like he used to do as a puppy. Daydreaming...dreams...imagination. "I see now.. the answer is imagination.."
"Very, very good... all of you have succeeded in my little game." Cheshire was sad that they had outwitted him and had could go in further into the cave to get the treasure Nimue had left there for them. He pointed with his paw towards the darkness of the cave."Go on and hurry; your treasure waits you in the bowels of that cavern. It isn't far at all but for each brave knights there is a treasure among the rest uniquely for you and you alone. You will know when you arrive there. Good tidings and that was fun! We must do it again sometime soon...." Cheshire winked at the group and spun around in a circle on the rock, vanishing into thin air.

Naito was lost yet again on what was going on with this moonlit and why he just wanted to ask riddles. "Ok...does he enjoy doing those things often?" He was back to his weirded out position.

Rudolf bounded over to Roland happily. "Remember I riddle." He said wagging his tail, "Job good Kai, Atreyu." He stared in shock as Cheshire disappeared. He then turned to the cave. "Ready all?"
Roland smiled at Rudolf. "Good job. I'm glad to see you remembered it." He said facing the cave, "Well let's go get you guys that treasure." He then sighed as he thought of Nephele. "I hope there's something in there that Nephele will like."

Staring at where Cheshire disappeared, Journey waved a paw in a delayed good-bye. "That was interesting." She turned to Garaden. "You alright there?" She swatted him on the back, then turned to the cave, tail flashing behind her. She was bouncing in excitement. "You guys can go on ahead. Don't mind me if I fall behind." She bound forward, sniffing at the enterance, then venturing a little deeper. "I'm not all that interested in whatever it is you're getting." She spoke off-handedly, getting lost in the thrill of a new and strange place.
Not trusting himself to speak, Garaden mearly gave Journey a weak smile. Shaking his fur out, he muttered again about monkey buzzards and headed after her.
"Congratulations everyone. We made it." Ivan's tail swayed calmly, though he was excited about getting there. Journey's excitement seemed to increase his own. He could tell that even Garaden, though still shaky, was starting to perk up.
He flashed a quick smile to the others. "Let's go."

"I'm sure there will be and whatever you bring back, I'm sure she'll like it--or at least we can hope she does." Atreyu took a deep breath of the cold cave air and proceeded on, deeper into the cave. He could hear bats squeaking every now and then overhead and he bent down low slightly as he walked. He wasn't about to have a bat attack him. "I wonder how far we have to go in here just to find a cavern..." He winced as he stepped on a sharp stone. "Watch your step you guys...I just pricked my paw on a stone." He continued on, on three legs, bringing his other leg against him until the pain had numbed.
Kai trotted over to the others and wagged his tail.
"That was easier than what I thought it was going to be but yeah, congrats guys... let's get this over with!" He followed the others but glanced back at the opening of the cave illuminated by the moon. "Goodbye light..." He turned back to the darkness "Hello never ending darkness.."
((Here's the list I got that one time buut where and how you find it in the cavern ish completely up to you... the items for the knights will have a ribbon wrapped around it corresponding to their fur color. In the case of like Rudolf and Kai... Kai's will be more of a hot pinkish bow and in the case of the Atreyu and Naito, Atreyu's ribbon would have black in it. :3 Anywho, I completely forgot to ask about Journey, Nephele and Roland when they joined the quest so, it is up to you to pick your own item for them to find among the treasure. Just think of it as walking into a large attic where there is a ton of junk everywhere

Naito's Treasure -- A Crystal
Garaden's Treasure -- Mystery movies
Kai's Treasure – a necklace with a gem that looks like its fire
Atreyu's Treasure – New Food bowl + el special item for all the knights
Rudolf's Treature – Books on how to speak English ))

Naito sighed as he focused on finding the treasure with the other knights. Hopefully he could bring it back to his sweetheart Ava since he really cared about her and wanted to give her whatever he found for his treasure.

Rudolf walked into the cave with everyone else. He wondered what he would find. Glancing around the cave he noticed a path that led to a bigger room area. "Maybe here treasure." He said taking the path. He walked into the larger area and gasped at all of the stuff lying around. As he looked at all of the stuff one thing caught his attention. It was several books with a pinkish purple bow on it. He wandered over to them and say that they were How To Speak English books. "Oh Joy!" He cried out, "Search I these for!" He picked up the books and carried them back to the others.
Roland looked around and shook his head as Rudolf wandered off. "Don't get lost." He called out to his friend. He then followed Atreyu further into the cave. "I don't know." He said as Rudolf cried out in joy, "Sounds like Rudolf found some." He continued down the path until he reached a smaller chamber that had a small stream flowing through. He looked around here and on a patch of moss he found something. "It can't be......" He said running over to them. Lying on the moss was two sandalwood grip revolvers with a blood red rose lying on top. "I've been searching for those forever." He carefully picked up the guns and the rose and carried them out. On his way back out he slipped into the room Rudolf had found and looked around. He wasn't sure what to grab for Nephele. He spotted something that might interest the female. It was a small music box. He grabbed that as well and walked out of the cave to wait for the others.

Squinting through the darkness, Garaden paused and smacked his paw to his forhead. "Duh! Let there be light!" Using his ability, he lit up the cave, and smiled sheepishly at Atreyu. "Sorry. I coulda done that sooner."
Looking around, a box wrapped with a thick black and white bow caught his eye. It was rather plain, so why did he notice it? Trotting over to investigate, he barked when he saw it was a collection of mystery tapes. "Whoa! Cool!" He flicked his tail. "I expected treasure to be gold and gems like in the movies, but this is even better."
Noticing most of the others finding matching bows, Ivan started to look for his own when he stepped on something emitting a loud squeak. Yelping in suprise, he jumped back and laid his eyes on a small, shield shaped squeak toy, the insignia a wolf with wings. Wrapped in a bow with his colors. Confused, Ivan leaned down to look closer. Why would he get a pup's squeaky toy?
Since they hadn't gone far, Journey quickly caught up. "Jah find what you were lookin for mates?" She looked around with interest when a delightful scent waffed into her nose. "What is that?!" Sniffing, she found a small container. Inside was a mixture of the hottest spices around. She threw back her head and barked with laughter. "That works!" She said happily, picking it up daintily by it's gray bow and carrying it outside.
