"That is Mr. Black. He is here to help protect our home just in case if grandpa thinks its okay to come and take it." Phantom kissed Yuri's forehead.

" Im Yuri!" She responded sweetly, smiling as she rubbed her cheek. wiggling until Phantom put her down she hugged her orange wolf Suri's neck.. asking with a scowl. " Takeing stuff is wrong, papa said so. have i ever met grandpa?" she couldnt remember it if so.. but she did remember her dad Quin. she had been spending alot of time with him prowling the streets, learning how things worked. there was someone else.. a woman.. but she couldnt remember who.

"I'm full of surprises." Mr. Black said with a shrug. "Don't have any of my own, can't. Sterile." He took a small pause to reflect on this before perking up and continuing. "Anyways, about that list. I could go out into the field and take a peek at where everyone is lurking around. You'd be surprised how well I can blend into unfamiliar surroundings."

Mr. Black chuckled a bit and smiled at Yuri. "Well, I'm not that talented. But I am pretty good at blending in." He looked back up to Phantom and his smile turned nervous and quivering. "So do I get the job? I'm not all that good at cleaning smithys, but I am good with lists."

Mr. Black raised his brow at the last comment. "Leak? I would never do such a thing ma'am! I need this job more than anything right now, why would I toss it away?" The idea of losing his job right now scared him, chilled his very bone. "Sorry about that outburst ma'am..."

Mr. Black seized the chance to walk away from the now awkward conversation and started over to where Kirai was. "What do want to talk about Lady Kirai? I hope you don't think me odd for my random outburst back there."

The sound of his actual name hit V like a shard of ice, but his face remained unchanging. "V? It's John, John Vesuvius Black." Wearing a slight smile he walked closer to Kirai, almost within striking distance. "At least that how we're going to keep it. Get me you little b***h? Salazar has me here on very profitable business and I won't have some vampiric whore going about running her trap." His voice never rose above a whisper and his tone was soft, but harsh. Every word he spoke gave a small blast of electricity off his skin, which floated off into the night air around them like a tiny ghost. "Are we clear, my dear lady?"

V didn't bother with a comeback and simply raised his hand into the air and smacked Kirai hardly across the face. As his hand moved across her cheek he seared away her flesh down to the bone and knocked her down. "You vampires are really all the same. " He spat at her, moving his boot to lay on her neck. "You think that because of your 'gift' that you're better than every other creature on the planet. You say you don't speak the language of 'mundane fools', well I don't bother with whorish idiots who wage war because their feelings got hurt." As he talked his boot weighed down her her neck, getting more and more forceful with every word he spat. "How many people have you killed? How many families have you ruined? How many children have you orphaned? How many wives and children have you taken from husbands and fathers? You're a pathetic excuse for life and I won't stand to see you live." With that being said he removed his foot from Kirai's neck and stood over her, glaring. "So, are we clear?"
