Gregory let off a single barking laugh.
"In that case, you're luckier than I am. Unfortunately, I've gotta find the one that did this to me before it decides to finish what it started..."
At her comment about the arrow, he glanced down at it, then back at her. A devious gleam flickered across his eyes, and he smiled.
"I'm not like most people. Still perfectly human, but I get a little edgy sometimes, and things happen that are unexpected. This is just a side effect."
He let out a sigh, and leaned against a nearby tree, gaining a little relief from his wound's ache. He figured that if the wolf was nearby, it would have attacked as soon as he was wounded rather than giving him time to heal and rest.

Ever thought for a minute about the werewolf before saying anything. "Well when your all good to go get it we should go find it. Now I want to meet a werewolf, even if it would just be to kill it." She shrugged, and felt kind of bad for calling the werewolf and it. But if it tried to kill someone it deserved the it status, right?
Ever laughed. "Really? Thats interesting, then. I honestly don't know what I am. Whatever my parents were I suppose, and its not like they've never lied about anything." She rolled her eyes and sighed as she talked about her parents. She had wasted two years trying to find them. If she had done the smart thing and pretended they had died or something, she could probably be living in a house. But she had to go out and find people who had lied to her, and was now living, well no where.

Gregory nodded, and sighed again, feeling his ribs grate together. It hurt, but the salve was starting to work, so he was feeling a bit better. The gritty forest floor beneath him was comfortable, but not his idea of bedding, so he fought the urge to sleep. He was glad she was willing to help him; that werewolf must've been rabid or something, because he had nearly died fighting it. As much as he hated to admit it, he needed help, and was glad to have it.
"I appreciate the sentiment. I'd be glad for some back-up; truth is, it's probably the only way I'm gonna beat that thing. It's gotta be jacked up or something; I can usually handle weres without much trouble..."
At her comment about her own nature, Greg grew quiet. He knew that feeling all too well, and how unwelcome it truly was. He half-smiled at her, and nodded sympathetically.
"Stranger than fiction, Ever. I think I'm human, but some of the things that happen to me, I just can't explain. If you ever manage to track your parents down, kick them once for me; I can't do that anymore..."

Ever nodded as he talked about the werewolf, pretending she understood. She still didn't know much about them at all, so she didn't actually understand. "Then I'll help whenever your ready."
She laughed at the comment about her parents but shook her head. "I don't really want to find them anymore. I kind of do, but what would be the point? I don't really care for yelling at people, so all I would do is let them do the same thing they had always done and lie to me more." She shrugged, and was glad she had said that. Now that she had she knew it was true.

Gregory cocked an eyebrow at the girl. Yelling? Was she actually going to say something to her parents before killing them? That was odd to him, and he fingered the hilt of his dagger fondly at the thought of gutting his former family. The thought faded though, and he returned his gaze to the girl before him. A faint crunch emanated from the surrounding brush, and Greg's fingers tightened on the hilt of the dagger; he wondered if it was the werewolf. His eyes shot to Ever, and then toward a patch of bushes he suspected held the wolf, silently signling her to fire a shot into the bush. He just hoped that she could understand military sign language.

Ever smiled at the bush, and really hoped it wasn't a person this time. Either way, she nodded in pulled out another arrow as silently as she could. She put the arrow into position, and aimed, before shooting it at whatever was in that bush.
((That was really bad, but I'm half asleep xD So yeahh))

The werewolf was taken by utter surprise; it seemed that the blood-crazed beast hadn't noticed the smaller girl, or her bow before it was struck. The arrow jammed into the beast's flank, and it roared with pain and rage as it bounded out of the brush, lunging for Dr. Greg. He was ready this time though; a quick sidestep took him out of the monster's trajectory. The great beast landed and quickly spun to face him, its teeth bared and its massive frame pulsing with fury. Gregory freed his dagger, and pricked his finger on the tip with a grin. The dagger seemed to flare up for a moment and the black stone was suddenly shot with hot red lines. The blade rested firmly in his palm, and suddenly his body began to quiver as the arcane energy arced into him, sharing the blood. He cackled aloud as the seizures increased in power, and his whole body was wracked with horrid motion. The werewolf, unfazed, sprang again; it's attempt was potent and fast to boot, but ultimately futile: Araeberous was no where to be found. A stuttering chatter hissed through the air to Ever. It sounded as though he were speaking through a synthesizer, his voice distorted by the speed at which he was moving, ducking and dodging.
"H-h-h-h-e's d-d-d-distrac-ac-ac-acted. H-h-h-h-it h-h-him a-a-a-a-gain."
The wolf had his scent, so it could trail him, but it was having trouble catching him; it's raking claws gouged the trees he moved in front of, and snapping fangs shredded the foliage. It wasn't even close, but it was getting closer with every passing moment.

Ever's eyes widened, as she was confused by it all. "Um, okay." She managed out. She got her bow ready again, but it took a bit longer as she was confused as hell. She aimed at the wolf, and smiled when she heard the satisfying sound of a hit. She wasn't sure if it was done with yet, but she shot again to make sure. Normally she would go after it and get her arrows, but she still wasn't sure, and was still confused.

Alana walked over to a lake and sat down by it, moving her dress up to put her knees and placed her legs in the water, sighing at the cold and leaned forward onto her legs.

Zai walked towards the edge of the forest, having collected everything she came for. Brushing off her gloves against one another, she cursed to herself how long it took to find everything, and how much she would love to have a larger green room so she could grow these smaller, less essential items herself.

Thalia joined Alana by the lake, sitting beside and smoothing out her gown. Her hair was still damp, clinging to her face. Combing through her blonde hair with her fingers, she said, "You like him." It wasn't a question, it was a fact. Thalia dipped her feet into the water, swishing them through the water and watching it ripple.
((wrong person, but hey, she was in the forest anyways...))

With quiet steps the large wolf laid behind her, his head on his paws as he stared at the water. Fury was learning, slowly but.. well, it was better than nothing. Killing was forbidden to him entirely now, surviveing on plants for his food. It pleased Alana.. so he would continue it. droping his tail into the water he flicked it at her, looking innocently to the side as if unaware he had splashed her.
(( So.. confused.. lol))

Alana giggled and looked at him, leaning slightly and running her hand through his fur. She kissed his nose before taking her dress off and diving into the lake, staying under for a few moments before resurfacing and beconing him to join her.
((lol I know xD It works though))

Between Grace and Fall, Thalia could see the present. "Gross..." She giggled, picking up her skirts and scurrying off. Of course, not before ruffling Fury's fur. Then she ran off and vanished. (( xd ))
