Kumizu finally slowed down once he got to the doors. He entered, breathing heavily and leaning on his cane moreso than usual. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say people are avoiding me. My name's Kumizu." He started to walk through the greenhouse, showing an interest in the plants.

Kana stepped aside slightly so Mead could easily get past her. Then, since he seemed to know much more about this place than she did, she slowly began to trail after him, still holding her tail still. It protested in her hands, trying to swing free, but that would probably lead to something breaking so Kana didn't allow it.
Her ear twitched as she turned as she heard someone else enter behind them and then speak. She caught his words and her ears drooped slightly. She face him, smiling cheerfuly. "I don't think anyone's avoiding you!" she said happily. "I mean, I'm talking to you right now, aren't I?" She grinned, nodding and took a small step towards him. "Kumizu?" she echoed. "I'm Kana, nice to meet you!" She glanced curiously at his cane, head tilting slightly and face gaining a worried expression. "Are you alright?"

"Why would you say that?" Mead said to Kumizu, unaware that he had followed them to the green house. "I'm called Mead Gohac." he then said to the male, and nodded his head, and continued looking at the plants.

"It's just a joke; I haven't seen anyone since I first started walking around. It's nice to meet you both." He raised an eyebrow at Kana's last question, then realized what she was talking about. He looked at his cane. "It's fine, I've had this thing for awhile now. You shouldn't worry about it."

Kana kept tight hold of her tail as she continued watching him. "Really?" she asked, ears drooping slightly. Then she shook it off, glancing over her shoulder towards Mead, who had gone back to examining plants. She smiled back at Kumizu again, nodding at his response about the cane. "Oh, I'm glad," she said, breathing out in relief. She kept herself from asking about what had happened to make him need it, but decided against it. It might bring up memories he didn't want to be touched. Instead she turned, still holding her tail in one hand as she spread the other wide, indicating the tons of plants. "Well, welcome to the greenhouse!" she exclaimed cheerfully.

''Where have I heard of this herb before?" Mead said outloud, loud enough for them to hear, "Come here Kana" he then called to her, and then said "Do you know what this is?" he then pointed to the herb, which was Catnip.

((Damn. I was hoping it was just the thread for the secondary characters that they deleted.))
Kumizu already knew what the next question would be, and was slightly surprised she held her tongue. "Umm... thank you... it's good to be here?" Just then Mead spoke. Kumizu stepped up behind Kana. Catnip? He didn't know what it was.

Kana grinned at Kumizu's somewhat uneasy repsonse to her indication of the greenhouse. Then her ear twitched and she glanced over at Mead, blinking as he called her. "Me? I don't know anything about plants..." She smiled uncertainly at Kumizu and then sprang lightly over to Mead, pausing at his side and bending down towards the plant. She blinked at it a few times and then frowned slightly before standing and laughing again. "Are you teasing me?" she asked, sticking out her tongue at him.

"Why would I be teasing you? I seriously do not know what this is." he then said, with a serious expression on his face, as he looked to her, and saw that she had her tounge out. "Why are you sticking your tounge out at me?" he then asked.

Kana blinked at Mead, tilting her head. So... he wasn't teasing me? she thought, face flushing suddenly red. "O-oh, I'm sorry then..." she said quietly. "Um, it's... catnip," she murmured, still feeling rather embarassed. She nervously began playing with her tail, distracting herself as her ears drooped slightly as well. I shouldn't... jump to conclusions, she told herself mentally.

"Why does 'Catnip' sound so familiar?" he then questioned himself outloud, without meaning to, "I'll have to ask father about it later..." and then he raised his head "So, where to next, I'm done here." he then asked her, wondering where she would want to go next, if she didn't have any idea, he would have to choose.

He'd stayed silent, looking around, and smiled if either of them looked at him. He was still listening to their conversation, of course, and felt relieved when Mead said he was ready to go. Plants bored him, but he'd keep the look of interest while he was in here.

Kana lifted her eyes slightly, looking back towards him again as he spoke. He's serious? she thought uncertainly, but then shrugged it off. She rubbed at her face for a moment, accidentally letting her tail swish free behind her again, where it proceeded in flicking absently side to side.
When she removed her hands again, her face was no longer flushed red and instead back to normal. She blinked at Mead's question. "You're already tired of this place? Did you find whatever you were looking for?" She shook her head and then shrugged lightly. "But I don't really know where to go now..."
She tilted her head slightly at Kumizu, smiling towards him. "What about you, Kumizu? Have you been somewhere we should visit?"

"Well, um... no." He laughed. "I've pretty much been looking around the grounds of the school, so I really have no idea what there is to visit."

"That's ok!" Kana cried, spirits not the least bit dampened. "It's much more fun to just wander around anyway." She nodded, grinning and accidentally showing her fangs. "I managed to find the opening gates, a courtyard, and now a greenhouse by doing so!" she exclaimed, as if very proud of this fact. Her bright blue eyes went to the door, staring through the glass as she looked at the other buildings nearby and then the scenery past, wondering what each of them were.
