Danny walked in before the door was all the way open. "Where's Black Cat?" It was incredibly obvious that he was worried. No more going out to save the world. He needed to focus on this problem.

"She went back down the hallway. Changing I believe. Nothing really to do here, so she took a cat nap for a while." Reaper replied as he closed the door and started back for the couch.

Just then, Cat came back into the room, in her costume once again and carrying her bag. Upon seeing Danny, she stopped dead. "Oh. ... Hi...?" she said after a moment, both her tone and expression a little too bright. She looked for all the world like the cat who'd just eaten the canary.

Seeing Felicia (No, Black Cat!) gave Danny much the same reaction as she'd had when she saw him; he'd been worried that he'd been too long away, that she'd have left and gotten killed... or worse. "...Hi."

... Awkward... So awkward... Cat decided to ignore it. "So," she asked brightly, "All done?" Apparently he wasn't going to tell her off, which was nice. For some reason, she really wanted to dissolve into laughter; this whole thing was just somehow... ridiculous.

Danny snapped out of it. "With Apocalypse and company? Yeah. Everyone else decided they needed to keep playing hero. I, on the other hand, have actual work to do." He threw a playful wink her way, then chuckled. "Is it just me, or does this just scream 'awkward'?"

Cat grinned. "It's not just you." Walking over, she paused to give Reaper a brief peck on the cheek. "Thanks, by the way. Bizarre as it sounds, you actually cheered me up." Hurrying over to the door, she pulled it open, looking disproportionately excited. "We're leaving, right? Right now? Could we just ride around for a while? Oh, GOD, I'm going to be so glad to get out of this HOUSE!"

Danny actually laughed a little. "Yes, we're leaving. We can ride for a while. A long while, actually. But we'll have to get back to why I'm SUPPOSED to be with you eventually." As an afterthought, he added, "As long as we're riding for fun, no Ghost Rider. He probably wouldn't like that. And maybe we can get some food while we're out. I haven't eaten since that pizza we had earlier." He looked at the table, and saw the huge book. "Did you attempt Latin? Wow, you HAD to be bored..." Really, he had no idea why he was being so talkative. A little voice kept saying in his head, 'Because she makes you both nervous and excited. Idiot.'

Reaper had been making his way back to the couch when Black Cat stopped beside him, and stopped dead in his tracks after the peck on the cheek. Yet another thing he was far from used to. "Um...you're welcome." he mumbled, then continued to go back to his couch. Once there, he kept his face and attention towards the couch, going about moving and fluffing the cushions. His face was warm for some reason now. Was...blast it was he blushing?! Damn it! Stupid freaking Blood...
Once done, he turned and plopped himself down on the couch, appearing slightly annoyed. He'd just think about being stuck here. Something he'd rather show than...ugh.

Instantly, Cat's face became overly serious. "You have no. Idea. What you see before you is the tattered remnants of my already fragile sanity." Just as suddenly, she grinned her bright, thoroughly mischievous grin, grabbed his wrist, and pulled him out the door. "How many pizza places are going to be open at this point? Oh," she called back to Reaper, "I'll try to find you a good book, or a set of dominoes or something. Strange," she continued to Danny, "Has no dominoes in his house. True story. I checked."

Following Black Cat, Danny said to Reaper, "When she says 'a good book', she means one that's at least written in modern English." Then, he was also out the door, asking Black Cat, "How can someone who possesses most of the magical learnings of the past millenium not own DOMINOES?"
