Sergent Jenkins fire a few more bursts into the woods then stoped and looked at the Spartan. "Mame? ((cant spel today.. xp )) What do you say to taken' a hog down there and doing some recon?..If its ok with the Lt of course..."

The Lieutenant had thought the Marines wouldve been able to fire their weapons conservatively after they could see that they werent hitting very many covenant now. "HOLD FIRE HOLD FIRE!" Mathias said waving his arm up and down infront of his chest and face. "Only shoot at what you know is there." He said, still giving out orders since the Major hadnt said anything yet.
He knelt down next to Sergeant Jenkins, who had brought up the idea of recon with a hog. "Fine by me, check with the Major first though, he might have some other plans for the Hogs in reserve." Twombley replied motioning his head to the Major standing not too far off behind him. Mathias still needed to gather up 25 soldiers and make sure everything was ready for the Pelicans once they arrived. He needed to leave this fight and head back to the LZ. Speaking to Jenkins one more time he said, "Sergeant, I can't linger here much longer, Major Orden will take over from here..."

Jenkins look at Mathias and said, " Yes sir. Sorry you gonna miss the action, i just hope i dont get forgot on this hell hole..." then he looked over at the Spartan, "Im Sergent Jenkins ma'am. I was thinking more of a old style drive by or two with you on gun..hmm..ill be righ back, ma'am." Jenkins walked over to the Major, saluted and held it.

He walked up to Jenkins and said to him "Be careful on your recon work, damn Spec ops can be on you in the blink of an eye, I would hate to see something bad happen to you. Well, good luck, I plain onseeing you back here when you have wraped up everything." He patted the marine on the shoulder and walked over to Twombly "Jenkins has got alot of heart, Fine marine he is. Just hope he keeps a straight head. So any new oeders Sir?"

The report of a BR55 behind him would ring out occasionally. As he spoke amongest the Marines. Replying to Jenkins, he said, "Ha, ill be missing it alright, just dont have too much fun without me..." He finished, watchin Jenkins go off to the Major. Just as he stood up to head back to the LZ on a spring, Howie approached him speaking. He turned his head and looked over at the soldier, nodding his head after a moment. "Yeah, he is a good marine...couldnt ask for anything more out of a soldier.." He paused, then went on to answer Howie's question, "Well right now, im being ordered to return to the Armengald with a select group of 25 soldiers, just dont know who im brining back up there with me..."

"I volenter. Just say the word and Ill be up to boot. " he took the free time to check his gear for anything he might need to fix, his Battle rifle checked out, but it could use a little grease, and he had three granades.
