She closed her eyes, smiling slightly, tying to remove his hands with her shaky ones. "Just nervous I guess..." She said so softly with a overly casual shrug. "I-it's fine Damian...I want to..." She said quietly, her voice only giving her away slightly. She pushed his shoulders back to the floor, starting to undo his pants as her eyes watered up. She blinked them away, one tear landing on Damian's stomach.

"Just stop!" At this point, Damian was just going to use force. He sat back up again, taking her hands away from his clothing and nearly tumbling her off onto the floor.
"Why the hell do I keep doing this?" he growled as his own shaking fingers redid his fly. Suddenly angry silver eyes turned up to Raquel, who was still just barely crying. "Strike me! Do it, slap me, have a hit, tell me you don't want to do this!"
*edit because I thought it was too short*
"Come on!" Damian had never been so livid with himself. It was his past coming back again, making him hot-blooded. The worst part of it all was that he knew Raquel was no different than all the others in one respect: she was not immune to his charm, his eyes, his moves. She'd just proven that if he wished it, if he guilted her into it, she would do it. Even if she did not really want to or was afraid, she would.

Raquel was sent back on her side, still shaking, still crying, though strangely relieved. She looked up at Damian with sad eyes, hating herself for making him yell. Raquel swallowed hard at his demand, hugging her knees slightly and looking away from him, avoiding his demand all together.

"That's it, I've ruined the night."
Finally his form resigned to just sitting on his backside, legs bent and head hung. As was in his nervous way, he rubbed at his eyes, hating himself for not being calm about it. He could never be calm about it. It was like his desire took form of a petulant child who would scream and kick every time told 'no.'
"I am sorry, Raquel. God, you've no idea... After all you've been through, when I knew you were afraid, and I've sat here trying to get you to do otherwise."

"....I don't know how to say no...." She said, ignoring his apology only because he didn't need to. Her eyes were still diverted and she shook her head. "I never knew I had a choice...." She admitted, still too embarassed or scared to look at him. She wasn't sure which.

"Raquel..." He still didn't move. All he could do was still sit there like a statue carved from the cold stone his heart felt like, somehow with the power of speech. He said he loved her, didn't he? And he did, he would have never said it if he hadn't meant it.
Damian just had to suppose that being human meant making mistakes, and this one of the huge ones he'd made concerning Raquel.
"Tell me no. Right now. Tell me no and do not feel guilty about it."

Raquel looked at him finally, her big green eyes searching his silver. "I-....I can't-" She furrowed her brow. "All I want is to make you happy, yet the irony is, what you want, what i can give you, I'm really good at." She laughed at herself as she said it, but her face still held its forlorn confusion. "But...I just..." She paused, as if she were slowly coming to a realization. "...Sex...has always had a negative conitation for me...I've told you...how I was raped and sexually assaulted countless times....And even with my customers...even by those I felt loved me." She shook her head. "Damian, I love you too much, to be afraid of you...." She furrowed her brow, coming up close to him. I've never thought about that before... it's not just him leaving... She pieced it all together in her head. She took his face in her hands, looking him in the eye. "N-....No. I.. I dont want to. I dont want to have sex with you..." Her eyes lit up. "No! haha! I said it! No!" She smiled widely, kissing him deeply. "Thank you!" She cried, ears now streaming down her face, but happy ones now. "Ha, you must think I'm a nut case! But this is so good...I can see it for myself now....Good god Damian." She looked up at him smiling like a fool. "Thank you..." She threw her arms around him, in a tight embrace, not realizing how awkward and utterly confusion she had just been. That, and she still didn't have her shirt on. and consequently, neither did he.

As terribly confused as he was, he did have to feel happy. Raquel had said something that she had never been able to say to anyone before regarding the intimacy that had nearly lost all meaning for her. And hell, he had asked for it. He had asked for the no.
"Good for you," he whispered as he held her close. "Good for you, love..." Because as much as she needed to say it, he needed to hear it.

After just finding solace in his embrace as usual, she pulled back, her attention diverted for a moment. "Damn...the ice cream's half melted..." She announced, picking the carton off the table with a frown. "...Milk shakes?" She asked, cocking an eyebrow. She had to laugh at herself. Why was she so ADD sometimes?

"Shirt?" he responded, picking up hers off the ground and holding it out like he was aiding a child in dressing. "As much as I do like the bra, it looks cold..." Of course he was one to talk, not even wearing a shirt. There was another comment burning inside him about how their little conflict had been hot enough to make the dessert melt, but he kept that to himself. They'd dealt with it, and it was time to move on.

Raquel giggled a little, taking it and slipping it back on, recovering her pale, lean body. "You're too." She smiled, handing him his which she had tossed earlier. "I'm going to make milkshakes, and introduce you to one more thing I bet you've never done." She winked, standing and heading off to the kitchen. "Have you seen any of the movies from before Earth was destroyed so long ago? They have a collection of supposed classics that they managed to save and bring to other galaxies. Some are just old moving pictures, some even without color!" She exclaimed, calling out to him. She had only seen a new holographic 3d movie once witha client and found it quite boring. The old timey movies form earth interested her much more.

Something he'd never done? That was certainly something up to the imagination...
"I have seen some of those... They seem to have more plt than the things we're used to seeing."
Films with more action, sex, and explosives seemed to bring in the crowds, nothing with real sustenance. It was a shame, because the world lacked tales like Earth did. It simply had little to latch on to in ways of ancient civilizations.

Raquel cocked an eyebrow. "I mean, have you ever actually stayed awake all night, watching just a marathon of them? I used to have this friend who roomed with me, and we'd do it every friday night." She grabbed some milk from the fridge, and 2 large glasses, proceeding to make her version of milkshakes. "What do you say?" She asked.

"I have nothing pressing tomorrow..." he said, actually stroking his chin. "An all-night movie night... It sounds good!"
Even Trinity mewed at the sound of that. Even if Damian wasn't so sure that everything was alright between them, he'd stay up all night with Raquel.

Raquel came back in smiling with two tall glasses of milky liquid with chocolaty chunks in them. "Its a secret recipe, passed down from Calipso to Calipso...But...I think I can trust you..." She smiled coyly, kissing his chin. "It's simply the ice cream...and milk...." She explained, giving him a look before laughing.
She helped move the couches back in front of the large TV so they could be comfy. Instead of cleaning, she just piled all their food leftovers onto the table.
She grabbed a big fluffy blanket and held it closely to her. "You ready?" She asked, again taking on the small naivete and innocence of a child as she smiled at him.
