SilentShadowDreamer Alexa looked up, frowning. She thought she'd seen...
Yes. Indeed she had.
"Look, Kirra," she said, getting up. "We have company, how nice. Since it's been my watch for a whole..." she looked up at the moon, "three minutes or so, I'll go deal with him." She grinned over at the other girl. "Be right back."
Tossing her hair back as she got to her feet, she made her way towards the traveler with a kind of disdainful arrogance evident in her walk - and indeed, every move.
"Who intrudes, stranger?" she asked once she was well within range - just within Kirra's sight, too, most likely, she thought.~ Vix laughed lightly. "I wouldn't expect anything less of you, my boy," she replied. "Of course it's safe, physically if not for your poor parents' minds."

Alexa's eyes narrowed for only the briefest of seconds. "I'm afraid you have the advantage of me in names," she replied coolly. "I ask again, so if you would kindly put us on even ground: Who intrudes, stranger?"

Vix laughed softly. "Come on, Leon, we're embarrassing the children, standing around here in our old stodginess. We'll go upstairs - I ought to take a look at that wound again."

"My apologies. Being that it's dark, it's difficult to see one's face and features. My name is Mathias." Deciding to add a little light, he draws a red gem from in his cloak and squeezes it in his hand, the shadow flames around his hand turn red. Though his powers are primarily black in color, they can be altered with either his sword or special jewels he discovered in his youth.

"Oh yes, the vampire," said Alexa airily. "Mother spoke of you, although she said you were living in a forest these days with your family - far from the cities." A tinge of amusement entered her tone, as though she knew precisely what he was going to say in answer to her question. "What brings you out to this godforsaken plain in the middle of the night?"

"Simply keeping a promise. I was asked to find you and, if you would permit me, take you home. If not, I was to at least find out what you are doing leaving your family with no notice. Your mother is very worried about you." Mathias smiled. Studying the girl in front of him. "You do look lik Vix."

Leon nodded at his wife and said "ahh i'll embarass you more later Alex have fun but don't strain yourself" he looked at his wife "its nothing too serious...." he said avoiding her eyes "i mean i'm alive right now right..."

Naomi smiled softly and crossed her arms. She knew her parents would probably do the same thing if they were still alive.

Kirra stood and walked over, hearing the male ask what Alexa was doing out here she said, "And if we said that it was none of your buisness?"

Mathias regarded the second girl, studying her for a moment or two. So, she must have been able to shield Alexa's presence...perhaps she carried the daughter of Silverwolf, that would throw the locator off... "I care not as to WHY you two are here. Like I said, I was asked to bring Alexa home, her mother and father and brother miss her. IF she doesn't wanna come with me, could she at least tell me why so I can tell her mother. Or deliver a farewell message or something. Rather than just leaving without a trace. Just so your mom knows your ok." Mathias says the last sentence to Alexa, still studying the second girl.

"Maybe the point was to get away from her parents, and you finding her compromises that plan, which means that it probably wasn't that, or that there is a new plan, maybe we're going to start an empire, maybe we just want to be alone, there are so many possibilities and complications that who knows if we would be telling the truth at all," Kirra said, just talking to stall for time as she thought of a plan to get them out of here.

Having spent years at Rhonin's side, Mathias knew when people were stalling before an attack. But he wasn't here to fight these girls. TAKING Alexa back would be easy, as skilled as she might be, she was no match for his powers. But there was something beneath the surface of this other girl. A dark malevolence that reminded Mathias of when he was their age. "I'm not here for a fight, Ms. So no need for deception." He eyed her scythe and opened his cloak, showing his katana. He drew it, twirled it and stabbed it into the ground. "I'm just fulfilling a promise."

Mathias resisted the urge to draw his sword from the ground. But even trying to remain calm, he couldn't help his instinct to snarl as his eyes turned blood red. "You call me arrogant when you intrude on a conversation you weren't part of. Arrogant presumptious child."

"Why you, Impotent, stupid, block-headed, MALE!" Kirra said as her scythe shot to her hand and she growled her legs spread apart making her lower. She held her scythe one handed behind her back and leaned her torso forward ever so slightly.
