I am closer to my mother, because we have similar beliefs and personalities, and also because we simply talk more. My dad kind of just does all the work and lets himself get pushed around. He doesn't like talking as much as my mom, and he's not as authoritative. rofl

If you could enter any profession in the world, what would you choose and why? A question befitting an uncertain high school senior.

Maybe I should have just not mentioned anything and picked something else disgusting like cleaning the toilet... :sweat
Why? Does conflict disturb you emotionally? Or are you feeling guilty? Well I'm certainly in no pain. And if GK is, it's all self-inflicted. : P

I simply have a strong averseness to drama.

a third gender sounds pretty awesome
Ugh. The concept of gender is complicated enough already, without adding another one. XP

If I have done my research correctly, there are indeed people who do not fit into the gender binary. There's quite a variety: genderfluid, third gender, no gender, multiple genders (e.g. bigender, trigender, etc.), mixed gender...
It's not drama, if it's not personal. : P

There's men, women, transgenders, and hermaphrodites. The rest beggar belief. : P I'm generally an extremely open-minded person, but when something doesn't make sense, it doesn't make sense. I mean, come on. No gender? Everything has a damn gender. Plants have genders. Even words have genders. And genderfluid? What kind of knock to the head makes someone suddenly be a different gender than they were yesterday? rolleyes

I would discuss this further if I had more knowledge, but I don't. : P Sorry. Can't give you the good debate today. This is just what I've read on Wikipedia and other introductory websites. xD

Jack-of-all-trades. mrgreen Because then I don't have to choose a profession. ^_^
Though if I really must, farming. For many, many reasons. Including eliminating the need for money in my life, being self-sustaining, working outside, working with my hands, working with the earth, working with animals, the mental and physical health benefits, feeling like my work is not just something I do monotonously for money - but because I truly seek the results, having a large variety of things to do and skills to learn, being able to live as far into the wilderness as I like, and just because it's the only thing I could do every day for the rest of my life, without going mad. : P

What would be the three worst professions in the world, for you?

The way you put it, farming sounds nice. 3nodding Though i think my arms are too measly to do the job properly.
What exactly would being a "jack-of-all-trades" entail? Doing whatever jobs you can find?

I do not want to be a telemarketer, a salesperson, nor a cook.

Why did you join Gaia?

Your arm muscles would build up. And you really need endurance more than basic, hardcore strength. Most farmwork isn't seriously strenuous, it's just a matter of being able to do mildy strenuous things for hours on end.
Pretty much. Learning various skills, putting them to work, learning more from the work you do, then doing more kinds of work.... It's a cycle. Every kind of work I get into, I end up learning new skills from, that I can use to work later. ^_^ You'd be surprised what you can pick up in random places. When I was working on farms I picked up some woodworking, forging, architecture, mushroom foraging, glassblowing, accupuncture, massage techniques, boat building, drink mixing, herbal healing, beekeeping, bagpiping, hatchet-throwing, etc..... XD I just love learning too much. >.<

My best friend was on it and he persuaded me.

How ticklish are you on a scale of 1-5? (1 being not at all, 5 being crazy ticklish pretty much everywhere.)

We don't. Someone must have left the door open. These poor, dumb, innocent toddlers wandered in, and started crying about it. xd

The most important person in the world to me, is me. Hey, I'm being honest. : P I don't mean to be narcissistic, and I don't view myself as a narcissist. In simple terms, I think one must take care of oneself first before being able to care for others. Just like how on airplanes they always tell you to install your own air mask first before aiding others. : P

Any plans for this Christmas/Christmas break? biggrin *jingles bells and throws pine needles everywhere*

There's a difference between sex and gender. Sex is based off of your genitalia- male, female, or intersex. However, society constructs gender- masculine and feminine roles. Maybe a person feels that their identity doesn't fit with their culture's idea of gender/gender roles, which is where you get nonbinary, no gender, blah blah. Gender is what's in your head. It's what you perceive yourself to be. I haven't heard of gender-fluidity, but I think it has the same concept of sexual-fluidity, which is the idea that sexuality isn't stagnant and it can change to varying degrees on a spectrum (queermos to straightness). Or some s**t like that, haha.
