And now I'll have nightmares about Beezelbub. Great. Lumanny Been there. Just replace locking yourself in the lavatory with running around the house crying and shrieking 'I'm insane' and mized gibberish. I've done that, but replace the crying with manic laughter and a sense of eurphoria. I had a surge of hypomania as a friend came round a few hours ago, and for about 3 minutes I didn't breathe as I jumped around shouting gibberish about being insane and liking it.

I've fixed it anyway. How're you coping right now?
I think I may start getting some better medication. For the first time in a while I'm excusing myself from lessons simply to have some time to clean my hands, arms and face.

Well, actually it's Beelzebub. Lol. I was wondering how long you'd go without noticing. If you didn't know, Beelzebub means "Lord of the Flies" in Hebrew. That's where the book gets its name from. Beelzebub was a Philistine god which has become interchangable with the idea of Satan.

It took me a while to learn that my Aspergers is why I couldn't handle the rape victim books we used to read in Middle School when my friends shrugged them off.

silent_death_is_loud Ahh! Lord of the Flies! I hated that book so very much! As does every sociology student and teacher. However, I like it. Goodnight! I am attempting sleep, though my current mania will heighten the insomnia so it'll be a long, long night.

It was called SPEAK by Laurie Halse Anderson. Really made me fear America in Eighth Grade.

It's about this girl named Melinda or something. She lives in this dark and twisted world in her head. In reality everyone hates her because she called the cops at some party where she was raped by this guy at her school who keeps harassing her. He even tries to do it again at the end of the book. Also, she tries to kill herself slitting her wrist with a paperclip.
And this back when I was only 13.... my firends handled it fine but my Aspergers and one third emotional maturity made me hate the book... I couldn't handle it or get out of reading it.
