Kaiser was out cold as soon as he hit the bed. Out like a light. Excessive drinking does that to you. At least he wasn't trying to drunkedly hit on her!
With every action, there is an equal reaction. Kaiser got drunk last night, and woke up the next morning with a massive hangover. He groaned in pain and clutched his forehead, rolling around in bed in pain.
"I'm never drinking again..."

"Good, becaussse I'm not carrying you out of the tavern again," came Adri's reply. She had gone to her own room and been up early this morning to bring up some breakfast for him. It was your standard inn food and drink, which now rested on a small table in one corner of the room.

"Ugh," Kaiser groaned again, pulling the small table over to his bedside to eat. He was starving, and the food would help cure his hangover... a little.
"What time is it?" he asked while munching on a piece of toast.

Adrienne shrugged. "I haven't the faintesst. I don't carry a watch. I'd sssay it wasss sssometime around noon if I had to guesss though." The basilisk moved to stretch herself out at the end of his bed and laying on her side with her head propped up on one hand, she watched as he ate.

He nearly choked on his food at her answer. He wasn't planning on sleeping in that late! He was hoping to leave in the morning so that they could have the rest of the day to travel. Then he needed to find Loww as well, if he was going to be joining them.
"Noon?! We need to get going if we're going to make it to Sorrow's Keep before dark!"
He set the table aside and pulled the covers off, getting out of bed and putting his boots on.
"Let's get going," he said, grabbing some bacon and eating it as he gathered his things and got ready to go.

"Ssslow down and relax a little. You've got a hangover and we have a long journey ahead of usss... do you really want to travel with a hangover and then have to face zombiesss?" In other words, Adri felt it would be a good idea to waste the other half of the day resting. She imagined he'd be in less than pristine condition if they started now and he had a hangover upon starting out.

A wave of pain hit his migraine, and he put his hand to his head again. "Ugh. Yeah, you might be right. Guess there's no rush. We have enough to stay another night anyway." Kaiser plopped back down in his bed, forgetting about immediately departing upon Adrienne's advice. He may actually still be drunk, in fact, with how much he had to drink last night. Mayn, that was bad...

Adrienne rose and crawled across to the head of the bed, settling on her knees next to him. "Allow me to try and eassse some of the tensssion, massster?"

"Yes, that would be nice," he said softly, sitting in his bed and contemplating the idea of going back to sleep and resting off more of this hangover. Gods this pain was annoying.

Adrienne leaned over just a bit, placing the fingers of right hand on his left temple and the fingers of her left hand on his right temple. She started, slowly at first, to massage his temples, her fingers moving in a counter-clockwise circle.

He closed his eyes, relaxing to her touch and giving a soft sigh, leaning toward her. "Mmm. Don't stop," he said softly, already feeling the pain in his head receding under her tender massage.

Dawn was not finished yet... likely a long way off, but she needed to get an actual look at her potential locations for the new RI towers before she could do a nice conceptual drawing that didn't look like it was made in outer space sweatdrop . She was on the hunt for Mark, her camera around her neck, a blue sweater that almost matched her eyes and her hair all twisted up in a haphazard bun that was being held in place by a mechanical pencil.

Mark, so far, was nowhere to be found... either he was working, or supervising the work. They had started on the project as soon as they could, seeing as they had a tight schedule to keep. He'd most likely be found near the construction side at the western end of the Outer City, or so one of the nearby workers said when she asked for him.

Dawn shook her head with a sigh and a little shrug, checked her pockets to make sure she head a little money as well as a few more important things and headed off on her own, intent on getting her drawings and models done as quickly as possible sweatdrop

Dawn was lost on her way to the first site... it was enough to put a frown on her face and the slight scent of burning leaves all around her as she desperately tried to find the site, she had wandered down an alley way when she didn't find a set of buildings that she remembered from her look at the city plan, and up another ally when she had gotten a slightly bad feeling from the aly that had led her to the wrong street, and somehow she was all turned around now. No idea how to find her way to the potential site or back to the construction camp.
Dawn headed for a seedy looking pub as a last resort to find her way out of this labyrinth, wondering if RI would condone knocking down a part of this maze to make way for something nice and organized! This was what she didn't like about old city's, they all had sprung up decades ago and grown in haphazard ways.. like gardens that were abandoned and left to grow on their own.
