Anna just waved her hand as she walked away to signal that she wouldn't. She found her way to the cave Hotaru found his keyblade in. She stood in the mouth of it and gently stroked the wall of it. 'So this is where Hotaru was found.' She sat down, pulled her knees to her chest and wrapped her arms around her legs. As she rested her forehead on her knees, she sighed and thought 'Happy Merlin? You win.'

Merlin saw Hotaru running though the streets. "Wonder whats got a knot in his knickers," he whispered. 'And where Anna is.' He deiced to follow him.

((And now I'm headed off to my last meal of freedom. See ya, I might log on later, we'll see.))

Merlin looked as if he was strolling through the park on a sunny Sunday. And he also appeared to be whistling quietly to himself. "It's a good thing I wasn't trying to sneak up on you. And I have no idea where Zero is, usually Anna is the one that always finds her. She can be quite good with people like that, cares enough to sometimes find a way in, although that's rather hard with Zero. I think Anna gets it from her mother, but she doesn't tell me enough of her family for me to know for sure." Merlin shrugged. "Zero did have a little temper tantrum before she left, so I expect her to not be in any of her regular spots."

((Yeah. School is starting up tomorrow and let's just say I hate public school with a fiery passion that burns with the flames of a thousand suns. Routines and Schedules and all that.))

Zero had run the first place she was sure no one was gonna look for her. The castle, into the destroyed study that had bleonged to the Wise Ansem. She'd always hated that room. The teen had slammed the door leaning back against it panting, trembling a little. "You're not comeing out!" She hissed.

"I'm not trying to." The Phantom said, her voice very calm and very quiet. "Can we please leave this place?"

Hotaru sighed. "Well then, I guess it's time to widen the search area. If she doesn't want to be found....then look were you wouldn't..." He nodded to himself. "Maybe......maybe she's someplace she doesn't like..." he looked around. "You know her a little better than me. What's the one place she hates?"

((Ah, that's a good reason, that's why I started college early. High school was crap so I just moved on, took some tests, got accepted, and that was much much better.))

He glanced in the direction of the castle. "......great..." was all he muttered before looking back at Merlin. "So what are you wandering about for? Figured you'd be researching, or mixing potions, or whatever mages do." He shrugged. "Not chasing after some teenage gir......." He looked at Merlin seriously. "You don't happen to swing that way, right? Cause you're really old, and teenage girls is just a little toooo creepy.........even for you...." He fought back the grin, trying to be at least give an air of seriousness while tormenting Merlin. "I may just have to find some to arrest you, or something if that's the case." He crossed his arms, and nodded.

He shook his head. "Leon wouldn't do it, and I wouldn't either." He grinned. "Leon would calmly set it down, and while you weren't paying attention, he'd disappear. Myself, I'd light everything on fire and make my escape." He then looked seriously at Merlin. "And you really should lighten up. If I seriously thought you were like that, well....I'm sure quite a few people would want to have some words with you."

At the mention of Anna, Hotaru tensed. "She's doing her own thing right now." He told him rather coldly. "And yes, before you ask, she's still planning on coming with me, I just..." He shook his head, gave a sigh, and looked at the mage. "It's nothing, and the reason I tease you, is for the reactions. If you didn't react, I'd get bored and bother someone else." He shrugged.

Zero’s head snapped up and a swift stream of curse words spilled from her lips. She darted to one side a fragment of a second before the Heartless slammed into the door where she had been. “FIRE!” She barked at the Heartless. It complied bursting into flames from her magic. The white haired teen twisted around to watch the floor grow dark as living shadows began to pull themselves from the floor. She swore again pulling up her magic.

“Use the Keyblade fool!” the phantom shouted after a short span of time of watching Zero attempt combat the Heartless by magic alone. The mismatched eyes of the teen glared her refusal. The phantom snarled. “This vendetta you have against me, or the Keyblade, whatever is going to get you killed!” as if to prove her right a Heartless knocked Zero to the floor. “BAH!” The phantom tossed up her hands exasperated. “Fine, you had your chance, now we do this my way!” She hissed reaching down to the girl phasing into her body.

A breath past and there was an explosion of power, and ‘Zero’ got up off the floor ankle length black hair sliding forward obscuring her eyes. “Admittedly, it’s been a while since I had to fight.” She looked up, both eyes burning gold. She looked around at the heartless surrounding her and raised her hand to the side, a Keyblade appearing in her hand. It was quite the blade to, like a broad sword Keyblade, defiantly two handed. Its design was a tribal twist of wicked looking black metal. Sharp edges and deadly spines all along it’s shaft fanning out into a design almost like an unfurled wing at the place that made Keyblades so singular. “But even rusty should be enough for you worms.” She concluded twisting the blade around her and bringing back around her front in one sharp precise movement. One half of the ring of Heartless dissolved.
