The grenades went off properly, but now Gabriel and Shae's position was more or less highlighted. Trooouble. Twenty of the agents were breaking off to follow them.
At the ambulance, some of the agents started coming around. They went down pretty quickly comparatively - two or three went down before the rest wisened up.
Then suddenly one of them appeared on the roof, performing some sick sort of parkour on agent steroids. He backflipped up to the edge and backflipped off, landing on the far side of the street and producing a... oh good heavens, he was using a P90. Stolen weaponry or had he provided it himself? Somehow he had made it slide off of his back straight into his hand like some sort of freakish ninja. He didn't actually shoot yet but they hadn't even gotten a clear picture before he flipped away to the far roof and then started coming back, a knife having appeared in his other hand.

"Oh my." Gabriel mumbled, "Shae, you got those agents handled?" he asked Shae through his mic, "I'm going for the flippy one.
Gabriel had decided to make the showy, jumpy Agent his new target.
He took aim and fired a single test shot.

Gabriel heard a crackling sigh. "I suppose so, but I should just let them find your sniping a** and kill you."
Shae went to the window and began to fire his big revolvers down at them before they were at the door.

Gabriel scoffed, "You know I could take 'em!" he retorted.
He lined up for another shot on the ninja-agent.

Dang, the ninja-agent was cruising. There was no way to keep a steady shot on him. He was kept busy enough dodging, however, that he couldn't attack the others.
Level 2 Hades explained shortly.

Shae shrugged and continued to fire huge, lead balls of doom down on the Agents, since they had apparently not advanced to the door yet.

Cado finished reloading the RPG and looked for an opportunity to catch the Agent landing. If the b*****d didn't have an airbreak, he'd be SoL when Cado fired.
When the opportunity arose, anyway.

Gabriel timed his next shot. He would fire where the agent would be just before the agent landed.

The shot planted in the Agent's back.
The Agent stumbled. Cado fired a rocket. A dirt cloud sprung up.
The Ninja Agent flew out of the dirt cloud, bounced low on the ground on his hands, and slammed his head at a good twenty or thirty miles an hour into Cado's crotch.
Cado only had long enough to shift his weight to a foot and make the hit about an inch to the left of his crotch. He flipped over forwards at least once before faceplanting. Luckily, having fired his rocket, his RPG wasn't loaded.
The Agent turned around and came for him again. Steven was staying out of sight, since he was nothing but a merc and would get mowed down.
The other mercs were busily engaging the other Agents and holding them off with surprising effectiveness. Josh Cook's team was even beginning to turn the tide, somehow.
