I can think of someplace uninhabited with out any graves upon which Nekron could draw. Elasa nodded to Eira. "Eira is correct," she said, landing on the ground lightly so that Captain America and Thor could hear her.
"Nekron, from what I have been told, simply sends down Black Rings to resurrect the dead as Black Lanterns, but he is also capable of raising the dead with naught but his voice. And if you are living and having been targeted by a Black Ring, it is virtually impossible to avoid it; there is only one instance I know of in which a Black Lantern Ring has actually been outran."
Carlie blinked, and looked to her father. "Hey," she said, "that happened to you, Daddy. You and Barry Allen. He moved so fast that you guys went like, two or three seconds into the future. Then the Black Rings chasing you just... dropped dead, pardon the pun."
"Whoa. That is fast," Captain America said, and Carlie grinned.

Doom resolutely held his point in answering Elasa and Eira, "While that may be true, Montecristo would be a good place to draw Nekron's horde to confront them -- if it is feasable to do so. There would be no civilain casulties to worry about. I am open to other suggestions, if there is a logical basis for another location."

Valdemar flew down to the ground and landed directly beside Elasa. His facial expression would tell anyone that he was deeply troubled by something. His eyes screamed in pain as he looked at Elasa and shook his head as he spoke, "I am truly sorry. I have to leave this planet and see to my own planet. I will not be here for the final battle, I must return immediately to see to some....um affairs."

Elasa, far from being upset, nodded solemnly. "Yes, Valdemar, you seemed troubled earlier. If you feel you must do so, go-- we will not stop you. But if ever you need our help, just call upon us." she said.

Becoming set on a certain location was going to prove...difficult. Mostly because someone had become bored yet again. He'd been bored for quite some time, waiting on his little ball of destructive energy in the planet's core to fester and bake. That little romp with Cantata had distracted him for a bit, but it just reminded him of how bored he really was.
It was time to get back into picking on the little planet he had made. Watch his little ants run around in circles.
The sky around Latveria became dark. Unnaturally dark within a matter of seconds. The ground rumbled, and spurts of golden energy jumped out of the ground and licked the air. People around the castle began screaming in panic.
A moment or two later, the licks of energy shot up through the stone floors of the castle. A few doombots and servants unlucky enough to be standing over one was essentially vaporized.
Soon, EVERYONE within the castle was eaten alive by the bursts of energy. Including the heroes, villains, and Lanterns.

((Just a quick note: Arkham Ore Refinery has been inactive for some time, as the plot me and Rath were doing was more or less abandoned. Besides that, Valdemar was already supposed to have left to go to his home sector.))

((( Well, it was never actually stated that he left. As for the "inactive thread", so have the rest of them. Unless the area was blown up, it should still exist. It was supposed to be a location, not a 1x1 area. So, It's being put to use. I hate having areas that aren't destroyed, that are just sitting there.
If there's still a problem with it, I'll mark it as a place X can destroy later. ))

Valdemar watched in horror as the energy burst through the floor. Reacting without even realizing it, he placed a barrier around himself, protecting him from the energy that came close to vaporizing him. With a burst of energy, Valdemar flew from the castle, stopping only at a safe distance. Starring at the castle, he some how knew the other lanterns would be okay. Turning away from the castle, Valdemar took off at top speeds, heading back home where he was needed.
Thor's eyes flashed before his eyes as the energy burst into the castle. In a matter of seconds the room turned into mad chaos. The energy absorbed him before he knew it. Gripping his hammer tight, he felt a rushing sensation through his body. Closing his eyes he allowed the energy to take over as he was teleported to another place.

In a flash, Victor von Doom materialized back inside the confides of Doomstaat. Turning at his arrival, a stunned Boris gaped at his master's sudden appearance, "Master, castle repairs are underway from our previous 'guests;' however, battle readiness is back up to 96%."
Doom nodded with approval folding his arms in front of him, "Well done, Boris. Have the damage control crews continue their work, we have work to do. Come with me."
As the armored monarch strode past Boris, the man followed ans answered, "Yes Master."

 (Talked to Oncaro. We're figuring the Black Lantern War would be over. So, here we go....) "Lord Doom, all of the Lanterns have left the country. The Black Lantern threat is over. All is well... Is there anything else you require?" Dr. Doom heard Boris' voice behind him, whilst the Latverian monarch was sitting in front of a Leap Motion Hologram table. The armored monarch turned his head in his confidant's direction, "No. Thank you, Boris. Inform the staff that I am not to be disturbed for the rest of the evening." "Yes, Lord Doom."After Boris exits, Doom casts a scry ward and then exact his own counter-measures against surveillance equipment. Turning back to the table, two three dimensional images are protected through the Leap Motion technology. The images displayed to Doom are that of a Lantern's Ring and Power Battery. Using his gauntleted hands, Doom pulls apart part of the image of both the ring and power battery -- studying the structure and components within the Oa technology. Doom's cool gaze scans the details presented before him, "Yes Boris, all is well indeed."
