Renatus looked forward through the trees. "A little farther now." he said. A small sign appeared, pointing forwards. "Here we go." he mumbled. He transformed into his dragon kin form, and pulled of his shirt, revealing his pearl. "Halt!" was heard from the trees above and Renatus stopped.

Lucinda stopped when Renatus did. She figured it would be best to let him handle it.

After a yell of "Who are you?" from above, Renatus said loud enough to reach the voices, "Renatus Ophirius." He then held up his pearl above his head to show the voices. "Proceed" the voices said. Renatus smiled and once again held Lucinda's hand. "Lets go." he said happily.

As the two walked, tents and small building came into view. Dragon kin were now in sight, each towering over Renatus. For one of his kind he was actually a runt.

The two entered the village. Small tents surrounded them and a few larger buildings rose from the monotony. "Well here we are." Renatus said to Lucinda. "What do you think?"

"It's very humid," Lucinda replied with a smile.

Renatus chuckled. "Really?" he said sarcastically. "Come on, lets see if I can find my mother."

After searching, Renatus found his old home. Entering he found it to be empty, and seemingly so for a long time. He walked in and looked about. "Where is everyone?" he asked observing an old table.

Lucinda glanced around. "Is there someone who might know?" she asked.

"T-This is my old home!" Renatus said worriedly. "My family should be here, My mother, my father!" he walked around the building, looking under furniture and in rooms. He seemed panicked.

"Maybe they moved to a new home," Lucinda said, trying to calm him down. "We should ask around."
