Alexia dropped to the ground. The kick had broken something in her chest and it was unbearably painful. She cried out and clutched her ribs. Blood stained the front of her nighty and she bit her bottom lip hard. Compared to the strength behind that man's foot her body was nothing. She then closed her eyes and focused of breathing. It made her feel worthless and weak to do nothing, but she had to stay alive if she wanted to be of any help later. She opened one eye and watched the traitor carefully, cringing every few seconds.
Lance breathed heavily, his mouth set into a firm line. He had been running around the city the past fifteen minutes finding the best location to help but it was all chaos. He leaned against the dark brick wall of a building and tried to concentrate on what information he had gained.

"Miss Alexia!" Lillith screamed, just a bare second before running towards her. Lillith stopped right in front of her looking at the wound and frowning, knowing it was not good. "Are you a vampire?" Lillith asked her, her face serious. She knew the only way she could help was if Alexia was, and eventhen, Lillith wasn't sure how much more blood she could give before needing more herself.

Lexa looked up at Lilith and smirked ruefully. "Yea, I kind of suck at it don't I?" She clenched her teeth in pain but she did not want to worry the girl to much. "Don't Worry, Go with The Mallory and his father." She took her hand off of her side, it was red with blood. She held out the hand to point in the direction the Boy's had gone. A moment later one of Alexia’s boy’s raced down the tunnel to kneel at lexa’s side. “What happened?” He asked slightly out of breath, his clothes were ripped ad it looked like he had been fighting.

"Broken rib or two, in the least. She might have punctured her lung. I used to do some nursing. It'll hurt but I can hold the ribs in place if someone can give her enough blood so that she can heal." Lillith said, pushing her sleeves up so she didn't get them dirty. She then looked at Alexia. "I'm not leaving you until I know that you are well enough to walk. And I sure as HELL not leaving THAT man alone with that little girl."

The man nodded and held up his wrist to Lexi’s mouth. She took it willingly not worrying that she would take to much. It was clear that he had killed recently. Once she had had enough she let his arm go and wiped her crimson lips. She was a slower healer than most, but her bones were setting steadily, and her lung was replacing the broken cells. "thanks." she said and cringed. Unlike many female vampires she could still become pregnant, and this gift also meant that she had the slight misfortune of having a weaker body, hers acted mortal in many ways including healing. It was not a mater of blood so much as it was a matter of time.

"Hold still so I can look." Lillith said as she cut a slit in the gown to look at the wound. "Slow healer, like mom is. But I think you are going to have to lay still until you are done mending. Otherwise the healing will get messed up... and that's not very pretty." Lillith said wrinkling her nose as if she had seen that happen before.

I snickered. "Yeah, okay, whatever." I listened closely to be sure there were no other people, or creatures, around. "So what is it you need so terribly to ask me, exactly? Wondering what my favorite color is or what I prefer in my dream date?" I laughed at my own sarcasm, wishing I could simply go one sentence without it. "Or maybe that's not it. Maybe you wanted to whisk me away from everyone else so we could take a stroll in the moonlight? Open a bottle of champaign, look in eachother's eyes and realize we were meant to be." I smirked. The world wasn't in the mood for laughter, but I sure was.
"They can't kill him. I would rather attend the battle that destroys our city than attend his funeral." They probably thought I was insane. I pushed a strand of hair behind my ear and thought, I guess I am.

I glared at him as I awaited for his pathetic self entertainment to end. My eyes moved over him, never realising what he actually looked like before. His ruffled light brown hair that matched well his deep chestnut eyes. I soon found myself almost oggling him, know seeing what Dawn saw. I shook my head slightly snapping out of my horrid thoughts. Quickly, I returned my eyes to his in hopes he didn't notice. "No," I spoke simply as I wrapped my arms around my knees; the cold air of the tunnel beginning to seep in through my thin clothing, I let out a slight shiver, "that has nothing to do with what I would like to discuss with you. I want to know about the other side of Tamatha." I looked over to see that Al was being taken care of before being drawn back to Asher's endless eyes.

I chuckled, but left it on the inside so she could not know that I knew she was totally checking me out. "Dirty." I said plainly with a dumb expression. "Why? Think the lighting on my body might be better there than here?" I couldn't help myself that time. "I have been known to look hot topless.

"Shut up," I scowled, trying to keep my voice quiet. A faint blush made it's way onto my face, and I did the best I could to avoid it. "That's not an answer."

"It's filthy, smells like urine, oh and it's rated one of the top best places to get mauled. You don't wanna go there." I noticed that her V-necked sweater was sagging down, revealing that 1) she wasn't all that fond of bra's and 2) she was terribly attractive. I almost said something, but didn't, being the selfish person that I am. "Oh unless you were planning a vacation there, in which case I suggest sueing your travel agent."

I caught myself halfway between a laugh that secretly escaped from my mouth. Untill now I didn't know what half of a laugh would sound like, but now it made me sound stupid. I resisted any other attempts at disciplining myself in my mind and watched his eyes. After a moment I realised it; I moved my hand up and moved my shirt so it was no longer showing too much to someone who didn't deserve it the least bit.

I smiled and let out a sigh as she pulled up her shirt. "What?" I asked, "Never been this close to a boy before?" I chuckled. "You do know you can't trust me. In the dark. With no supervision." I pulled off my shirt and handed it to her. "Topless." It's not my fault that I like what I like, and when I do, I don't hesitate. Conversations where each person is fully attracted to the other are akward, so I regularly decide to skip them and go right to what everyone's always waiting for.

Alexia gasped and forced herself to stand and run as quickly as her broken body would allow down the tunnel to smash her fist straight into the man's throat, sending both herself and him tumbling a few feet away from Dawn. She yelled out as her chest flared with pain, but she was to preoccupied beating him to death. Her sharp nails dug into his flesh and she fought mercilessly.

My face now as red as a freshly grown tomato ready to be picked off of the stem, "That isn't what we're here for, Asher." I threw his shirt aside, keeping the grip on my shirt and a resonable distance from him. I made a habit of it to keep my thoughts locked so that he couldn't pick up on them. "What makes you think I could trust you even if that was the issue. I hardly know you, other than that my sister is obviously head over heels for you," the thoughts I wished to not be heard soon mixed into the conversation. "I don't see why though, from what I've heard you're not exactly the nicest person. Though I guess that's implied being from the other side and what not." I stopped before going on about things that didn't matter at the moment. I hated how distracted I could get from even the simpliest things. I let go my shirt letting it fall back without a second thought and placed myface into the palms of my hands trying to get my thoughts together.
