Ah, ma copine, je vais trés trés bien :3

actually, i feel kind of weird. i had a bizarre day today, where some cool chick was like 'are you gonna forget me?!' and forced average-face me to take a pic with her
and i have to dress nicely for a function tomorrow
and then take a math placement test for college tomorrow. i just flunked the practice test an hour ago >.>;;

@ Brizz: You are no stipid or ugly!
You're really nice and smart, and you've made good decisions!
I don't know what made you think otherwise.

@ Volupine: Doesn't the ACT or SAT determine placement?
Gewd luck with taking control of jor life!
Methinks you will do fine!
You know what you believe, and you know why you believe it.
Most christian HS peoples go crazy when they get to college because their parents told them to be a Christian, and they obeyed, so now they don't know what they believe, which is really sad for them.
It does make me feel better, though, because for most of my life I've wanted a Christian family because I thought it would be kind of perfect, so it's good to see the not so perfect side of it.

@ Lacy: That bee thing is pretty epic, mann!

@Only
well yeah. i placed out of taking the entire placement test, but U of H requires all incoming students to take a math placement test. I got an 85 on it btw! ;D
and thanks, mann. crying I wont let you down!!!!!
i've decided to stay in houston for 2 years and then apply to New York again.
dude, srsly. my school has a super strict dress code, and i cant wait to dye my virgin hair >3
Well, my family is largely non-practicing Catholic. Like, my mom threw us into Catholic school and thats the only place we get religins. when i was little, i was forced to go to Mass, but Nao i only go on Xmas. >.>;;
my godmother is very religious, and she's always giving me bibles and crap for my birthday, heh.
But first Communion and Confessions and stuff were mandatory events that were on school time.
Surprisingly, i want to be confirmed
[[i honestly dont know why, i just....want it. i'm bad, but hay.]]
but my HS doesn't have a program, so i need to find a church this summer and enroll myself. I'm gonna get ******** PISSED if they think they can shove that s**t down my throat and brainwash me, but i hope im mature enough (now) to focus on why im actually there and its true meaning.
Sorry i got off on this huge tangent, but im not anti-religion, i'm just sickened by hipocrisy.

@ Volupine: Congratsies on that!
One of my friends once made an 80 on a big lest like that . . . out of 200 lawl!
I'm glad you've got a plan!
I used to want to dye my bangs green, but nao I really don't.
Methinks most of the reason I wanted to do that was because my mother DIDN'T want me to do that.
Instead of just finding some church, it's a good idea to find a GOOD church.
I've been to all kinds of terrible churches, but I'm comfortable in the one I'm in now because it's open, not condemning, not filled with hypocrites, and it goes out into the community to help people.
[Sorry, I deleted the rest of this comment, because it was read in a destructive way, and I would like to eliminate the chance of that happening again. Thanks much XDD!]

@ Lacy: Sorry we're ignoring joo.
But why you no like my bugs that can live on the sun?
Next you're going to be saying that unicorns don't exist. *pout*

Lace is used to be the odd one out.~

I'm all for fantasy and the likes.
But I've always based my fantasy on logic.

Not to say my fantasies don't use magic,
Just merely in a logically way.
x3

i.e. Using magic drains energy of the body. It exhausts the user, therefore you can't have an OC who's all uber god-mode.

Unless they are magical stone bugs,
They would not survive the heat of the sun.
x.x

Heat of the sun > Any kind of stone (Unless magical in nature. o3o)

The closest we could get a solar probe without it melting is 7 million km or 9 solar radii. Any closer and it's gone.

And that is with various metals that are used to withstand heat.
I imagine stone wouldn't survive as close.

Ya have to understand,
I'm a very logical person.

If it doesn't have a basis of sense or logic I can't get into it.
x3

Which is why I can't stand 99% of animes.
Especially FLCL.
._.

Oi vey.

@only
I ******** love you, darling, but i need to say
that thats the kind of bigotry that makes my blood boil.
"Religion is bad;Christianity is how its supposed to be"
WHAT THE HOLY ******** to what you're saying.
Molesting little boys and waging wars against 'Heathens' is doing it right? UHH WHUT!
there are beautiful religions out there that preach nothing but love.
I think Buddhism is very pure and good. And all religions have a golden rule of some sort.
What you're saying just ******** pissed me off. it was, no IS the s**t i hear every day.
Disgusting.
It's called tolerance.
Just because someone has different beliefs doesnt mean theyre going straight to hell. i think that if that person lives an honest life, they'll have a happy afterlife, even if they're polytheistic.

@ Lacy: XDD I love logic as much as the next person, and I base all of my major stories highly off of logic to the point where I study every aspect of a planet to be 100% sure that it could actually possibly existout there.
But you have to break away from that sometimes.
If you cannot break away from boring logic ever and just be random, then blahhhh!
Also, I love FLCL HAHA!
Randomness = awesomeness =P
At least to me.

@ Volupine: I didn't say religion is bad, I said it's all about rules.
My bad, I think I left out the part where I meant to say that the rules of Christianity are supposed to be there as guidelines.
Like, the love implied by Christianity is the main point, not the rules of religeon.
Love is supposed to be the main basis with rules following.
If you have love without rules, then all kinds of destruction is on the way, but soooooo many people get tied into "religeon" *breaks off* Waitwait, you hear that all of the time? I've only heard it a couple of times, and one was from me.
The other was from a book LOLOL!
*reads rest of comment*

Woah woah Wooaaahhhh!
Volupine, you read that entirely wrong! ^^'
I'm hurt that you actually think that's what I believe, and you didn't question it or read it over or say "Did you mean this?"
When I said "religion," I am talking about the CONCEPT itself, not all world religions.
Notice the "religion" I used is singular, not plural.
The speech I made was about American Christianity, and how it = fail.
It had nothing to do with other religions.
I truly love the other world religions, and I endeavor to learn about them and the way they compare with everything else, especially the proverbs and parables.
But what you just said . . .
You think I believe that?
I'm sorry my concept came off wrong, so I hope you forgive me!
PostPosted: Thu Apr 22, 2010 8:10 pm

@only
dude, that's all i hear. everyone here is super intolerant.
yeah i was reading it and just thought, "what the hell is she on right now?!"
I don't know, im not into rules, but I think people should be allowed to love freely. It is something i do not see as destructive. but there are idiots in the world.
Unlike you, I won't edit my post. I know i talk first and think later, but that's me.
I was about to take a second look and see if i really have a hairline trigger.
im just here to make sure you organize your thoughts more clearly. :/
Religion is religion. it's a blanket term.
You can't just condemn or write off religion. It's here, in all its forms. and for some people, it's all they have.
sorry if i hurt your feelings, but damn.
why would i question your opinion? i think that a person may believe whatever he or she wishes, but once he/she makes those beliefs known, Princess is free to, shall we say, speak freely about that newly public opinion. Like how once you put a pic of your bare a** on the interwebs, it becomes property of the universe.
But that's just me, and I am a loudmouth b***h :]

Oi.

Everyone makes the world seem so black and white.
It's really quite annoying.

I read through only's post and it made perfect sense to me.
But then I didn't immediately take offense to it.

***** and wars?
Christianity =/= Catholic.

They are very, very different.
And there are many different kinds of christians.
Just as there are different kinds of Americans/British/Irish.

There are always going to be differences of opinions in any matter, including but not limited to just Christianity or any other religion.

Just because someone belongs to a specific religion or faith does not mean they promote the bigotry and sexual assaults of other's who claim to be the same.

It's like saying that I'm a redneck because I am american, despite the fact not all americans are rednecks.

Very few things are black and white in this world.
As in you, if you live, you will die.

But there are many more things in this world that are much more complicated and defined that people are so quick and easy to write off altogether as one thing, when really, it isn't.

PostPosted: Thu Apr 22, 2010 8:29 pm

oh and randomness isn't without logic.

It's merely random logic.

I love to be random, but it doesn't make it without logic.

Being logical has never been boring to me,
Has in fact driven me to be more creative each time I begin a new rp.
I so love to be creative,
Why would I drive something that pushes me further into my creativity out the window?
o.O

@ Lace
dude christian priests are just as likely to ******** kids. and crusades were christian wars.
we catholics can make ourselves seem like villians just fine, thankyouverymuch.
***** i know my s**t.
and i wasnt saying that all christians are hypocrites, im just saying that i take issue with my religion because i know a lot of people who consider themselves 'very religious' and spew out intolerant garbage. non stop.

@only
just realized i was a little harsh. i feel badly >.>;;
PostPosted: Thu Apr 22, 2010 9:33 pm

Errr.

You don't know your 's**t' all too well.

Christians have no priests, nor any altar boys/girls.
In fact christian churches are set up to where Pastor's/Minister's are not left alone with children.

Uhm you're comparing modern day christianity to a very different christianity that existed almost 1000 years ago.

Your stance on christians being war mongers would hold water if the crusades didn't end 800 years ago.

It's like saying every white person is a slaver even though slavery was abolished, but since it's a part of our history, we must still be slavers huh? According to your logic, that's true.

Well, know that my intention was strictly bashing American Christianity and their failness because of all of their following rules while being lame and judgemental, so they forget the entire point behind Christianity and just follow the religion part.
It had NOTHING to do with other religions. I didn't even mention them.
It was all a misunderstanding, so it's all good!
Personally, I think that Catholic faith is just a very different branch of Christianity.
They place a lot of emphasis on Mary, and they've got extra things like purgatory (if that thought still exists).
There's also a lot of power within the priesthood, but a lot of priests way in the past like BonifaceII(sp? And possibly wrong gen?) were scandals, and it's really difficult for a church to cope after something like that.
And I don't much care for Constantine.
Yes, he did super-special-awesome stuff, and it's wonderful he did those things, but I'm not too proud of what he did AFTER his whole Editc of Milan yay Christianity in Rome movement.
When you hear about him from a Christian school, they try to make him sound all awesome, but they leave out all of the other stuff he did like kill his family out of paranoia.
And if I totally got stuff wrong, please don't yell at me and call me stupid.
I would appreciate that. ^^'
I don't study branches of Christianity, I study other religions.

@ Lacy: I respect your respect for logic XDD!
And it's a great lifestyle to have, especially if you aren't entirely bound by it 100%.
However, it is impossible for me to live as such because my brain works entirely differently.
My major is creative writing, and my minor is art.
So my entire career pretty much depends on coing crazy and forgeting the rules.
I know there are a lot of very logical fictionists and artists (like Escher is AWESOME!), but that's not who I am.
I must have randomness or I will go insane, yupyup XDD!
Pure logic has wonderful charm, but I cannot live in it.
Cocococococococococococo BARRRRRRRR! Cocococococococococococo FIZZZZZZZZ!
