"Get out Mason! Now!", he said in a stern voice. He pulled his arms away. He opened his door and made her leave. His arms were bleeding again. He rebandaged his arms. He slammed his door again and locked it. He began to cry again he sat down leaning against the door. Why didn't i get the police invulved with this. If i did Mason's dad wouldn't have died. This is all my fault.

Mason was "ushered" out of John's room, and she turned around to say something, but by that time, the door had been slammed. She turned around, slamming her fist on the wall in front of her. She smacked her head against the same place her fist had landed, and slid down to the floor, crying quietly. The words of her mother, and the news report ran through her head. Then she thought about the later news report.
His name was Kyle Hyde. He passed away about an hour ago. The Mason family say that they will not press charges against the Hydes because of John Hyde and Casey Mason's lifelong friendship.
She embraced her knees, burying her face, and screamed. Suddenly Mason began to shake violently. She fell over, hitting her head against the wall multiple times. After a minute, she passed out, almost lifeless in the middle of the hallway.

Nathan giggled and shut his phone as he walked to the front door and quickly knocked on it. A middle-aged man walked up, an annoyed look over his face. He sighed and opened the door. "Can I help you, sir?" the man said, eyes half open.
"Uh, yeah. I'm moving into apartment 136 with some friends. They already live there, but I'm moving in now, too." Nathan said, a little shy because he really had no clue how this whole thing worked.
"Very well, come in." The man said opening the door further and stepping out of the way so that Nathan could come in, too. Nathan entered slowly. As he was completely inside the building, the man closed the door. He sighed again and went behind his desk and pulled out some things. "Here is the key to your apartment and here is some paper work." He handed over the key, papers, and a pen to Nathan. Nathan quickly filled out the paper work and handed the pen and papers back to him.
"Thank you. Um, is this the rent for the apartment?" Nathan asked looking at a small piece of paper that the man had ripped off.
"Yes, it is. I don't believe you need the full run through of what utilities the apartment has?" the man asked with a sigh and a raised eyebrow.
"Uh, no, no thanks. Thank you, though." Nathan asked as he walked to the elevator. He folded up the piece of paper and put it in his pocket next to his cell phone.
"Whatever." the man said. "Punk." he whispered right before the doors to the elevator closed. Nathan sighed and pressed the button that read 130-139. Hmm... I wonder how many floors there are. Nathan said to himself. He looked up and the elevator began to lift.

Alex had fallen asleep while he was high and woke up soon after its effects were gone. Sighing, he got up and rubbed his aching head. Of course, he remembered almost none of his actions after what Mason had said. Anne was mad at me... And I promised... He reached into his pocket and felt the small piece of paper with Rebecca's number on it, pulling it out he dialed the number onto the glowing cellphone keys. He heard her voice in the speaker.
"Hello? Alex? I thought you didn't want to se me again after what happened..."
"I didn't... but Annora... we're having problems..."
"Really? You can come over right ow. Tell me about it."
"Ok... See you in a couple minutes."
Alex sighed again and shut the phone walking out to his car and beginning the drive to Rebecca's house.

The elevator came to the selected floor. The doors opened and Nathan walked out and down the hallway. "133...134...135...136! Found ya!" Nathan said as he smiled to himself. He grabbed the knob and took a deep breath. It had been a year since he had heard from his friends. After the first semester of his senior year, Nathan had to move because his mother couldn't keep up with the bills. He had moved two states away, but now they were together, well, most of them for the most part. Nathan turned the knob and pushed the door open. It slowly swung open into a small hallway into a living room. Nathan walked in and closed the door. He walked into the living room, no one was there. Nathan was confused. It was 4 in the afternoon, someone should be there. "Hello?" Nathan called, hoping someone would answer.

John heard Nathan. But he didn't care someone else would go find him. He felt to pissed off to talk to anybody. My stupid ******** dad! It's all my fault. I never stood up to him, i never bothered to inform the police. I barely even talked to my friends about this. Except for Annora...poor Annora, she has to deal with Alex on drugs, babies and school. I wish i could help. John stood up and went to his computer. He started play various online games to distract his mind.

Nathan looked around the living room. To his right and around the corner was a kitchen. To his adjacent left was a hallway. "Probably to the rooms." Nathan whispered to himself and began to walk to the hallway. First thing he saw was a mirror hanging from the door at the very end of the hall, second thing he saw was a girl collasped in the hallway. Nathan rushed over to her. It was Mason. "Masey? Masey, please wake up." Nathan said as he pulled her into his arms. "Please wake up Masey. John! John, Help me! Mason's hurt! Annora?! Alex! Someone please help me! Please!" Nathan began to craddle Mason and he began to cry into her shoulder. He began rocking her. "Please wake up, Masey. Please wake up."

John cassually stood up. He opened his door and saw mason passed out. "Oh s**t!" He saw Nate crying. "Don't just sit there!" John pushed him out of the way and picked up Mason. "Come on!" He yelled back to him. He ran to his car and laid Mason in the back with Nate. "Try to get her up!" John started the car and drove to the emergency room as fast as he could with out speeding more than 10 MPH over the limit.

As they rode in the car, Mason started to wake, but she was in and out of conciousness until the got the the hospital. When they got her out of the car, she was able to stand and walk, with their support, but halfway inside, she fell back into her coma-like state. They got her into the emergency room, and doctors took her away as soon as she was signed in. When they explained that her friends were all the family she had right now, they were let into her hospital room to be with her.
When Mason finally woke about an hour later, she looked up at John and Nathan, who were by her side the whole time.
"It was you that I saw at the door, Nate!" She said, weakly, but excited. "Thanks, you guys. I guess my body just couldn't take everthing that was going on..." She looked away from them when her dad's face popped into her mind. Not wanting to let them see her bawl her eyes out, she gathered herself, and put on her fake smile.

Nathan followed John's lead completely without hesitation or questions. He followed silently. They arrived at the hospital and Mason was taken into the emergancy room immeadietly. Nathan and John talked to one of the nurses and convinced her to let them into her room. When they arrived, Mason was asleep, so they decided to wait till she woke up.
An hour later, Mason came through. Nathan jumped to his feet and was right at her bed side within a matter of seconds. Nathan listened to her and then bent down and hugged her. He began to cry. "You scarde me shitless, Masey. Don't ever feel alone. You can always come and talk to me. And I think you can always talk to John. We're here for you, Mase. We love you." Nathan gave her one last tight hug and stood up. He wiped the tears away with his sleeves and looked at John.

Mason smiled at Nathan's little nickname for her He was the only one whoever called her that, but she liked it, and missed it.
"Thanks." She hugged him back, then turned to John.
"Did you tell him? About... you know. Does he know?" She still couldn't bring herself to say the actual words, but she knew that he knew what she meant.

Jesus christ..he's practically drooling over her.. John stood up when he looked at him. "Well it's about time.", he said jokingly. "...whos hungry cause im starving? I'll go ask the doctors when we can go, then maybe we can go out to eat or something."
