Kylie looked up from her drink to Sakura, her eyes wide. She had been zoning out again. [iThis is becoming too much of a habit... she thought, angry at herself. After a moment of thinking, she had a sad look on her face as she shook her head. "I'm sorry, I don't." she told him, sighing. "If I knew how to play, I would, but I've no clue." she told him, shaking her head again.

Sakura frowned but asked her, "Do you know ANYONE that plays bass?" Skaura just hopes the Kylie's answer this time was a yes. Oh please be a yes....Maybe one of her friends!? Sakura thought which a worried eyed face and desperate tone in his voice.

Forcing herself to look into Seth's warm brown eyes, she placed her spare hand on top of his and squeezed it gently, opening her mouth halfway to speak, but not saying anything whatsoever; the words wouldn't come out. Had she actually... fallen for someone like Seth, someone who had the power to manipulate fire, the thing she hated most? Maybe... being with him could lower her barriers, since she had such a similiar past that went along with his..
However, whenever he showed her that affection, there was a pinge of guilt within her, like she was doing something she shouldn't be doing. Maybe it was her past getting at her... in that case, it was time to move on. She needed to let go, trust people, start actually feeling her emotions. Finally releasing her grasp on him, she closed her eyes for a bit, just sitting next to him. "Nothing....is wrong... you could say... I'm more... relieved." Though even Tomoro didn't know why she was relieved, something small inside of her told her she was even more accepted than before.

Seth smiled slightly as she spoke, sat there next to him, her hand squeezing his own gently. Slowly bringing his hand down from her cheek, his fingers moving gently against her soft skin as he brought his hand down to her waist, his eyes looked back into hers as he leaned in closer to her and kissed her cheek softly, closing his eyes as he whispered gently into her ear "So am I..."
Resting his cheek gently against hers, he sighed as he squeezed her hand that was over hers lightly. He felt he was doing the right thing.. he was happy, and the most important part.. she seemed to be happy. She seemed to want this just as much as he did.. Seth had never really considered the possibility that there might have been someone else in Tomoro's life.. and he wasn't going to do so just now..

What should I do now...? I can't tell... him... that I liked someone else. Because... I don't... even really like him... that much anymore... As much as she hated to admit it, she had begun to like Seth a lot more then Bukotsu, even if he could heal her and help her through troubles... but she and he connected. It was a strange feeling. She still hadn't even begun to explain how many people were after her, and her grandmother, and all that she had done... she figured that would come after time.
Leaning her head against Seth's, Tomoro sighed lightly, and looked up at the sky as she always did; it was especially dark tonight. In fact, if she were out wandering in the Courtyard or something, she probably would barely be able to see her hand. It gave her just a bit of comfort knowing that someone was watching over her. "I'm kind of... tired..." she said with a small yawn, rubbing her eyes with her left hand.

Seth didn't want to think about anything else at this moment than being with Tomoro.. deep down he knew things would be a bit rough for them.. the cloaked demon that had shown up the other day.. his akward transformation to evil after his brother appeared.. he was almost beginning to wonder if this was the best thing for Tomoro.. but he quickly shrugged these thoughts away.. he didn't want to talk about this, not now.. he just wanted to enjoy this moment..
He slowly pulled his head away from hers as she mentioned being tired and looked into her eyes, pulling a few strands of her hair away from her face and behind her ear "..you.. wanna head back to my place.. or..?" he asked almost hesitantly.

"We don't... have to.. whatever you want.." She said quietly, standing up at this point and bowing at Seth, her silver hair reaching the ground. She didn't really have anywhere to go besides her own dorm, which might have been just a bit more comforting... but no worries. She could keep her cool.
Looking up at the sky once more, Tomoro then locked her eyes with Seth's, motioning toward the boy's dorms. Like she always did, she then took off without any answer, waiting for Seth to quicken his pace and come with her. To be honest... she didn't know where Seth's dorm was.. just that it was in the section OF the dorms. After a while, she let him take the lead, but quickly matched her pace with his.

Rivera finished her hot chocolate and wiped her mouth. She was watching Kai, who, in turn, was watching a group of people in the shadows who, in turn, was watching her. She didn't like this silent exchange between their eyes. They gave strange looks at her and Kai's glaring only made it worse. Rivera touched him gently on the shoulder and recalled his attention, shaking her head.
"There are morons in this world still, and I can handle them with my own skill..." She bowed her head slightly in thanks. "There is no need to trouble a warrior like you with my safety."
Kai rolled his eyes. "There is a reason I exist. And that, of course, is to protect you. There are other reasons, but this is my reason, your highness. Forgive me for my lack of courtesy."
Rivera smiled. "You're strange, Kai..." She looked towards the side, a tint of mischief playing along her eyes. "Come with me, I want to show you a trick that I picked up." Standing up, she walked towards the group of musicians. Her whisper was more confident than usual, sharper, yet relaxed.
"I heard you were asking for a bass..." She started, and reached into her belt purse, drawing out a black sketchbook and a pencil. "Might I offer my services?" Looking towards the bass standing in the back corner of the stage, hidden in the shadows, Rivera sketched a crisp, curving line on a clean page. The bass immediately sounded. From below the line, she began to write inscriptions of arcane symbols, causing silence to bend and sound to reverbrate from the silence, sounding the base through its own silence. "If you would rather have it hand picked, I suppose you're out of luck..."
Kai looked at her and smiled. Just like her, to play with silence and make sound. He remembered in the Gyrfalcon Princess' first battle, she had used silence to force the enemy to lose their balance, through the loss of their hearing. It was a good weakener, considering balance and technique made up a good portion of swordplay.

Sakura saw Rivera walk up to them. "HI RIVERA!" Sakura said delightly at Rivera. He then heard her play the bass without touching it and thought for a second. "Well, hand pick will be better but, I guess we have no choice in the matter. I guess your in!" Sakura nodded with a smile and introduced Rivera to the group.

Kai's mouth twitched when Sakura addressed Rivera. It was more the way he addressed her. The informality irked him. Rivera saw, and gave him a little warning glance. He nodded in understanding. These people had no idea that she was the princess of an ancient civilization that died out under the sea, and she wanted it to remain that way. She wanted to be a commoner, perhaps known for somethings, but always things she earned by her own work, not lineage.
Rivera propped up the bass. Kai inspected it with curiosity. He hadn't seen one of these before. Kai plucked a string experimentally. "Your highness, is this a... er... harp?" He asked in a low tone. Rivera shook her head.
"It's called a bass, Kai. It's like a harp, but it sounds very different." She glanced around, hoping no one noticed what he said. "And please... don't call me 'your highness'... I'd rather no one get any ideas..." Taking the bass from him, she slung the strap over her shoulder and set her sketchbook aside. "I want to see if I can do it without the pencil... " Kai nodded and watched.
Rivera reached her mind into the instrument, speaking to it as kin. Her steel entity matched the strings, weedling its secrets out to her bit by bit. Her fingers fell on the strings, unlocking the secrets from their place in the form of sound. Every sound appeared in her mind as an inscription that symbolized the bending of silence to produce the sound. Every inscription matched an action of her fingers. It imprinted itself into her mind, teaching her how to play this instrument in a matter of minutes. By the time she had gone through the chromatic scale once. She could play the bass.
"I'll pick it."

Sakura blinked in a bit of confusion as he watched Rivera talk to this male. Seems as if she was hiding something. But Sakura brushed it aside and watched as she played the bass, slowly, but still played it. Sakura was excitied and intrigued on how Rivera quickly learned the bass. He truly found her to be interesting and wanted to find out more about her. But for now Sakura wanted to sing. He barely remembers how to but he knows that it feels good to sing. "I'll alright! Thanks Rivera!" Sakura jumped at her and hugged her tightly. Sakura turned around and faced Deimon. "Well, I guess we have our band." Sakura said with a smirk on his face.

Rivera blinked. She saw the way Sakura looked at them when they were talking. He knew that something was up... Oh well. The crimson decadia would be on them soon anyway... then she would have nothing to hide. She warmed up a bit with a few beat chords that many songs have. Like with the piano, whatever she thinks can come out in music. It was a talent she didn't know the origin of, but it had something to do with her space powers. "Pick a song, Sakura-kun. If I hear it, I can play it..." She whispered. She could feel Kai behind her, still looking curiously at the bass. She felt him glance up at one point at Sakura, looking with a mild hostility or protectiveness. She was a little annoyed, but her feelings never bothered her before. It didn't bother her now.

Sakura looked back at Rivera with a smile of delight. He played the song again on the turn table but very low. "With your talent I expect you to catch this song on first listen." Sakura said with a smile and watched Rivera as the song started to play. Shes' really something...And it seems we keep meeting each other....I wonder how your wounds healed so fast? We just finished our battle about 3 hours ago! Sakura thought to himself but he continued to watch Rivera, waiting for her to play the song. [[Song: http://www.freewebs.com/sakuratears91/test.htm ]]

Rivera's eye lids lowered slightly, both her eyes turned a mystical dim blue-green. She entranced herself into the music and invoked foresight, knowing what will come next within seconds of playing it. She set her fingers down to the bass and began to play out the counter harmony, strumming out beat chords eight times for each measure. She could hear Sakura thinking. He thought very loudly. But then, she didn't bother to answer. First, it would just break her concentration on foresight. Second, she'd rather not have anything to do with his thoughts.
She wasn't much of a musical talent at all. All Rivera really did was take the music and apply it to motion through sound and memory. She played like a machine, without soul or feeling, despite how real the emptiness sounded. She was only taking the styles she remembered and applying them. The only thing she could do with a soul was the piano or singing... She could do neither well, the piano becoming a constant reminder of her affiliation with Chaos and her voice no more than a whispering breath of wind above the surface of the water.

Sarah walked up to the entrince of the club and stared at the red dragon above. She gazed up at it for awhile, her eyes filled with sparkles. "Wow, that's pretty cool!" she said and smiled and finaly she walked threw the entrince, not wanting people to be mad about her blocking the way inside. "This place is pretty crowded...." she said tring to push her way threw a few big crowdes of people so she could find a place to sit. She sat down at a random spot that didnt have alot of people arround it. She looked arround and waitted for someone to come and talk to her or something.
