Seth shook his head and started forward once more. As he neared the hot pools, the pale stones that provided light throughout them lite with color, making him smile.
"Alright..you have your choice...there are hot pools, which come from a spring further underneath the ground, or there is just the bathing pool which is cool water. There is also a swimming pool above ground but you can't very well bath in that." he explained softly, not bothering to look over his shoulder to see if the kid had followed. He was fairly sure that the kid didn't want to be left to any surprises that the dark tunnels might hold.

Julian once again watched her in silent contemplation. Still unsure of whether he liked her or not, he simply shrugged the matter off for now. People seemed to come and go at the Haven so it wasn't a big surprise that she was here. At the same time he fought a glimmer of amusement at the flash of power that showed for the barest of seconds in her eyes. Someone had a bit of a temper, he thought silently, but nodded his head in agreement to her words. Turning he started down the corridor once more.

Marshall had indeed stayed pretty close to Seth, despite his near perfect vision in the darkness. When they got to the low ceilinged cavern in which the pools were set, he stopped, looking them over in the order they were mentioned to him. His mother had always told him that hot water cleans the skin better than cool water, so he chose the hot pools. Beside these pools there lay a full arrangement of bottles, most of them containing liquids of various colors. Crouching near these, he inspected some of them. They all smelled strange, some seeming to have a slightly floral fragrance. The labels had words on them, but since he couldn't read very well anyway, he didn't bother to try to figure out what they said. Looking up at Seth, he pointed to the bottles.
"What are these for?" he asked.

Seth looked over the assortment of bottles and sighed, guessing that the kid probably couldn't read the elegant script that graced each one. Moving over to them, he knelt down on the stone floor next to them.
"Shampoo, conditioner, bath wash, face wash, body lotions, all in various fragrances." he answered gesturing to each set of bottles as he spoke.

Marshall nodded, then began to remove his clothing. The water of the hot pools was in fact hot. He put first one foot in, then the other, hoping that his skin wouldn't melt away. When his feet remained intact, he slowly moved deeper into the water. The pool he'd chosen was a slightly deep one, the water coming to his chest. Taking a deep breath, he held it and sank all the way under the water. Once under the water, he opened his eyes and took a look around. The pool was set into a bowl shaped basin, with one side dipping lower than the other. On the high side, the water from the upper pools poured in like a tiny waterfall, keeping the pools at a moderately hot temperature at all times. On the other side, the wall was slightly higher, but he knew this wall did the same for the next pool. After studying the basin for a long moment, he resurfaced, pushing his long, black hair from his face. It felt wonderful to be in the water again after such a long time without it. Glancing over at Seth, he slipped to the edge of the pool, near to the bottles.
"So, um, which one of these do I use?" he asked in a quiet voice.

Solaria flashed Julian another grin, before walking along with him. She had distanced herself a bit from the man, leaving a couple of feet between them. Stretching out her arm, she touched the cold surface of the wall, Sliding her hand along as she walked and hummed the same tune.

After a few minutes of silence between the two, Solaria cleared her throat. "So...Julian. Sounds like a girl's name." she teased. Another smirk crept on her face, as she continued her playful joking with him.

"You know, like Julie Anne...except you say it faster." A slight giggle escaped Solaria's lips. She did have a bit of tendency to be funny in an odd sort of way.

Seth simply sighed and shook his head at the boys ignorance, though he could hardly expect the kid to know what most of the stuff did.
"You use the shampoo first, on your hair.." he paused and gestured to a group of bottles. "One of those...then you use one of these," he pointed at a different set, "Conditioner...also on your hair. Then wash your skin with the body wash...one of those." he stated softly, once again pointing out the right group of bottles.

Julian glanced back at the girl in startled surprise but returned his attention to the corridor after a long moment. Solaria...yes, she was an oddity, right down to her name. He allowed a slight smile at her words, but simply shrugged.
"I suppose...I never really thought of it that way. Julian was after all the name my mother chose, not the name I chose. I trust her judgment well enough." he answered quietly. He paused a few times as he walked down the seemingly endless hallways. pointing out the way to carious places, such as the bar, the dining area, the library, and even to the kitchen area, though in truth Julian surprised himself by remembering where it was. Finally he stopped outside of the beautifully carved wooden door, a fiercely intelligent wolf gracing the wood with it's presence.
"Well, here is where we say goodbye for now I suppose." he turned toward her with a slight bow.
"I was surprisingly pleased by your company. Until we meet again, Solaria, I hope you find whatever it is you seek.

"Thank you. I enjoyed your company as well." Solaria muttered. There was a sad glint in her eyes, despite the smile she offered. She was saddened by no longer having a companion.

Sighing, she forced out a cheery tone. "Yes, I do hope we meet again." With that, she started towards the way they had come.

Gabriel watched the water ripple as he slid his tail into it. The cool of the water clashed with the natural heat of his body, causing slight wafts of steam to rise from the surface. The pool was supposed to be heated, he though sourly, lifting his tail away from the water again. Maybe they had forgotten to turn it on. He sat at the pool's edge with his bare feet in the water still. He'd been sitting there for some time now, thinking about things that had gone on while he'd been away. He'd run into some bad company in Delmarr, and nearly gotten himself killed. He'd only gotten away because when humans saw a demon, they often panicked. A stampede of humans was a good diversion.
He gave a soft snort, flicking his tail to remove the water droplets from it. These droplets hit the surface of the pool, making more tiny ripples there and he smiled. The glow from the violet neon lights that lined the bar above, reflected in odd patterns on the water, and then in turn on the ceiling of the pool area. Heaving a small sigh, he got up from his seat and turned away from the water. He was in a mischievous mood. Formulating footwear in the form of black boots, he strode easily up the stairs and into the bar to see who was up and about.

Solaria was walking down the endless halls, mentally pointing out the places that Julian had earlier. She stopped abruptly in front of the bar, slightly curious about it.

Solaria was about to step into the room, when she heard footsteps coming her way. She stiffened and turned, slightly relieved to see it was a familiar face.

Gabriel stopped when he saw Solaria, his gaze automatically checking to see if her male companion was with her. When he didn't see the man, he relaxed. Flicking his tail again, he strode easily to the bar and stepped behind it. He wore his usual attire tonight. Leather pants that fit like a second skin, a shirt made of a shimmery, fish netted material, and his collar. His other accessories were the same as he always wore. The leather bracelets with long, sharp, metal spikes protruding from them adorned each wrist and higher up on his arm, just above the elbow, was another set of leather bands. These were unadorned, however, being as they rested too close to his sides most times. He had his horns tonight, and his wings as well. He also know that his crimson eyes would be slightly aglow, since he'd been trying to make the full shift earlier. These effects would not wear off for a few more hours, so he was stuck with them. Leaning forward on the bar top, he gave the woman a smile.
"Where's your little bodyguard tonight?" he asked, shifting his gaze toward the door to see if perhaps the man was lurking there. He didn't sense anyone, however. "Decide to ditch him?"

Tonight? she thought. Had the day gone by so quickly that I failed to notice? That should explain her oddness earlier today. She tends to switch from her dark to cheery personality whenever she neared to her transformation point. Shrugging, Solaria focused her attention on Gabriel. She figured it wouldn't do much harm to undergo transformation while he was near. Though she did ponder for a quick second, what his reaction would be.

"Azorath is not my bodyguard. He is just a bit overprotective. He was asleep when I decided to wander. He's probably awake now. And I'll most likely get in a row with him when I get back. But, whatever." she answered, casually.

Bit by bit, her appearance started to change. Her hair, jet-black and streaked red during the day, was now pure white. Her skin was also paler, and her eyes, blood red, changed as well.

Unaware that she had already switched forms, Solaria gazed at Gabriel's attire. Her pale, icy blue eyes flickering over the leather bands on his arms and up to the collar that clung to his neck. Behind him, she noticed a pair of wings that weren't there when they first met.

Peering over the bar, she noticed his tail. A smirk formed on her face, only one more thing could confirm her suspicions. As she drew herself back from the bar, her eyes swiftly landed on the horns on top of Gabriel's head.

A mischievous glint shone in Solaria's eyes. "A demon, eh? And your name is Gabriel?" Oh, the irony, she thought.

Gabriel watched her, unaffected by her change. Stretching his wings out to span to bar length, he smirked.
"This is about as much a demon as I can manage." he said, then folded his wings again. He forced his wings back into hiding, carefully absorbing them back into his body. His horns and tail were stuck as they were for now, so he didn't bother trying. He straightened from where he'd been leaning on the bar and turned to retrieve a drink. He preferred blood fresh from a kill, but would suffice with red wine for now, only because the only thing in the room to kill was the woman, and he didn't think his Master would be happy with that. After getting his own drink, he turned back to Solaria and motioned to the shelves of liquor. "Want anything, while I'm at it?"

Solaria returned his smirk when he hid his wings. She thought Gabriel to be an interesting subject. She found something appealing about him. Whether it was his charisma, or the fact that it would bother Azorath to bits that she's around him, she did not know. Shrugging, she spoke quietly, "I'll have what you're having, I guess."
